This isn’t a bad store...My complaint is that I should not have to hunt someone down every single time I need an item off of the shelf. Is it really necessary to lock everything down like fort knox?There has to be a better way to battle shrinkage than this.

A lot of workers there will go above and beyond when they have the ability.

Literally the worst, people there dont know how to do their job, tried renting a vehicle trailer and the guy had to send me somewhere else plus the other guy there didnt know what was going on either. Dont waste your time theyre no help.

Last week I ask about weed killer. Which one is best to use but they didnt seem to know. So I just walked out.

The one guy that worked there with a limp was very helpful and nice and he helped me find my stuff that I needed.

Really great store! Has many of the items I need, although I will agree with the review on confusing uniforms. I understand it is owned by Ridleys but I think it would help a tone if they at least had ACE somewhere on their uniforms. The staff also is quite helpful at times but there is the occasional employee who are a tad rude. But I do enjoy shopping here!

I had a charge on my debit card that appeared to be a duplicate, Chris Lucero, the manager was able to assist me in clearing up the issue and was very professional and caring. Thank you Chris for going the extra mile!!

For a small town hardware store Ace is really impressive. They have a really good selection of hardware and tools. The folks that work here are always friendly and helpful. The rewards program doesnt add up very quickly, but they send out good coupons pretty regularly.

Ive been here a handful of time in the last few months and really enjoy theyre selection of paints! Great customer service!

Found what I was looking for and a better price than Idaho Falls!

The only reason Im leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I couldnt locate an employee. Finally one came up to me to offer help, but I would have never approached them because they were wearing shirts from a local grocery store. I thought they were just shopping there on their break or something. Turns out the grocery store owns Ace, but I think the employees should wear Ace shirts, because that was really confusing. Other than that the store is great.

Overpriced! Found the exact same items at Walmart and Cal-Ranch for half the price....REPLY - 2 pack fuel filters for weed eaters etc Ace 8.97 + tax. Cal was 2.50 each ($5 for 2) your weed eater string 16.97 or something I dont remember exactly how much but I know 8t was 17+ for 200 feet cal and Walmart are both around $10-12 .. ive only shopped at ace 2 or 3 times in the last what 5 years and thats cuz everything Ive needed is always less at other stores!!! Only buy from ace when nothing else is open and I absolutely need it .. lesson learned again I paid too much (and had I had the time I woulda returned it)

Only place in blackfoot that had a tiller only 1 left ther today

After my experience this evening my review had to change. Tonight we stopped by twice to get some more items for our project. The first time I felt like I was wandering the whole store to find help with an item and then when I did find help, it wasnt helpful at all and the employee kindof brushed me off. The second time there was a line and the second employee, instead of helping out, just stood behind the counter chatting with his girlfriend. Not professional at all and really affected my opinion of this store.Original review: This ace is great. Doesnt always have what we need but the staff are nice and it is close to home

They saved my rear a couple of times by having what I needed so I didnt have to drive 45 minutes to the bigger chains in Pocatello or Idaho Falls

They had what I needed, washers for my youngest sons training wheels.

I love what this store has become over the last 5+ years for the Blackfoot community.

Great place to get parts

Not a pleasant experience. Perhaps my experience is not what others are getting, but today I stopped by looking for a specific tool. I spent 15 min looking for myself, but failed to locate the tool. I only noticed 2 employees and by the time I had spent looking there was only one, who was helping check out customers. I stood in line to ask for help. Once it was my turn in line, I explained I wasnt able to find a tool and the response I got was well of you cant find it, it must be out of stock. I then went to Standard plumbing and supply, and was given the complete opposite experience. I was greeted at hmthe door, asked what they could help me with, I was shown the tools what the pros and cons were.

Nothing wrong with the store however, they do not offer military discounts like most other ace hardware stores I’ve been to. Apparently it’s because they are owned by the Keslers grocery store is what the kid told me. So this was disappointing that they do not support us veterans. I will stick to Home Depot and Lowe’s which do offer the discount.

It’s incredibly hard to get anyone to help you in this store, even if they’re in the aisle you need. They just vaguely point and walk off, if they respond at all. “Do you carry this kind of lightbulb?” I asked the guy stocking the lighting aisle. His response? “Don’t know”. Then walked off. Today I called ahead asking if they had what I needed, waited while he went to look, verified he found what I was looking for, went to town- they don’t sell that item or anything like it. I searched the store, went to the counter with a picture of what I was looking for, and the guy said “eh if we have any it’d be at the end of row 26”. It wasn’t. They don’t carry it. Waste of time from start to finish. I’d love to say this is the only bad experience I’ve had, but at this point I’ve had more bad experiences than mediocre experiences. I wish they took the “helpful hardware place” slogan seriously here, but they don’t. I went in once to buy an entire set of tools for my house, and they were so rude and unhelpful that we just left and bought them elsewhere. Bad service costs you money in a small town.

A very good inventory for a small city hardware store. And you can order from the Ace online store and pick it up locally.

Good inventory and prices but hands down the worst customer service of any ace hardware I have been to.

Called about water heater pricing and information so we knew what to come into store with or if had enough for the job but the man on phone was rude. Gave sarcastic replies and when we asked on pricing said idk I just had to check this for you even though we said beforehand on phone had he actually took time to listen and not act that way. That was horrible I have been sick and to be told this way was so unprofessional.

Its nice to have a place in Blackfoot such as Ace Hardware. Saves me from going out of town more often then not. From closet rods, plumbing and electrical to gardening and grilling, good chance they have it.

A little spendy but much better than going to the blackfoot Walmart to save a few bucks. The staff there tries to be helpful but make sure if its important that you verify whatever they tell you. We have bought things with the advice from employees that turned out to be the wrong item. But overall we shop there often and have had positive experiences.

For Blackfoot its awesome. They have a lot of special parts that help out in a pinch. Some guys are pretty knowledgeable. Lots of paint, plumbing, electrical, sprinkler parts. They have alot for a small town store.

While staying in Blackfoot for a week I had to make a few stops to this Ace Hardware. Its a clean, well-organized store with a great deal of variety for such a relatively small space. I was able to find all the random little things I was looking for. The service was always friendly as well.As a bonus, Ace sells Craftsman tools, and this location is no exception.

This is good Ace owned/run by the Ridleys here in town. Having said that, somethings online may not be accurate. The Ace Hardware website states this place will cut Chipped keys like the ones for a lot of newer cars. However, its not the case. I dunno who is supposed to update the website, but would be useful for it to be accurate.Either way, friendly place. Not as big as Home Depot or Lowes, but has some decent stuff for home improvement projects.

Ace is definitely the place. Ive been there almost every week since they came to town. So many of my tools for workhave been purchased from ace. Its also nice that I can get points for Ridleys not just with groceries but with my tools and all the little bits for little projects around the house.

I found the fasteners I needed. Great selection of hardware. All of it appeared to be in the correct bins, too!

The store is nice but I have constantly had bad service. No one ever comes up and ask you if you need help. For example a friend and i walked around the store 3 times and no one once offered help. If you find somone they will help. Generally their are 2 to 3 people their and their almost always at the register. Whether their are people checking out or not. I have been in the store when it was just me and 1 other customer and still no help unless I hunt somone down or go to the register I dont know if their understaffed or just told to be at the register. Other then that they generally have what I need.
