Paid for clothes and clerk was not very polite .No thank you or have a nice day just here you go!When leaving another employee ran into me with freight cart. Laught and said was sorry did not see me. Was going so fast left a bruise on my shoulder.Char the employee name tag was pushing cart and not pulling cart,so you can have a open view.Must been quitting time at speed she was going.

I always find clothes, shoes, etc. for a decent price. Love the Sephora store there!

Had a good shopping trip here. All I have to say is wow to there customer service. This is why a brick and mortar store is so much better than an online store. You actually get to speak to a real person, without having to go through 100 prompts first. Great job JCPENNEY.

Made a quick stop here while traveling to pick up something that we forgot to pack. They had what we wanted and the staff were friendly.

Limited help in the store was available. Poor signage of this weeks sale. Not the same company I worked for. As a past employee I would rate todays customer experience as not very good. Some racks were poorly stocked and organized!!

Helped a friend find the most perfect engagement ring and the staff did a great job helping with the process. Hidden gems in the clothing dept. A lot of dif choices for cookware. Staff is easy to locate throughout.

Bad setup feel like youre in a labyrinth. No one to help or guide, products strung out and hid. Was tempted to start a guide service or rescue squad.

Nice store just overly priced for big and tall clothing. Even at 50% off the price was $34.99. But for the non big and tall clothing at 50% off $18.99. I know it more fabric but is it that much more per fabric for those price differences?

Dont carry the shirt brand I was looking for.

Good selection of merchandise and plenty of sales staff to help you. Use their photography studio and there was a wait as well as getting a photographer who said it was her training day. Nothing special in poses and a lot of really off center shots that couldnt be cropped.

I buy something from your store and an hour later your company asks for a ratings? This is an invasion of my privacy. Now my privacy is comprised. Ive learned not to use credit in a public settings. Absolutely nothing against the sales person. Just my opinion. Im old school. My rating is for the sales person, not for J.C Pennys need to know!

I found what I wanted, but they only had one register open. Two managers were walking around, but not being productive. When one of the employees tried to help at another register, she was informed that it was not operational. They were stressing social distance, but providing no solution.

I utilized the pick up in store option for an order placed online. It was pretty easy to find where to pick up my items but the cashier seemed to not enjoy his job and seemed bothered by working. He also asked me to sign for my items before getting them from the back and was visibly annoyed when I stated I wasnt signing without seeing the items first to ensure the order was correct. The store has a nice variety and selection however.

Great store with friendly people! Find what you need for quality at great prices! A couple pairs of jeans, couple shirts, a small appliance and a watch. All in less than an hour. Gotta go back in for new sheets, pillows and a comforter. Maybe see ya there!

Great salon. Jade is great at coloring my hair and my husband also goes to her for his cuts. The department store has a really good variety of clothes to choose from and the prices wont break you!

Excellent service, salesperson promptly waited on me and my gift set for my younger daughter was nicely packaged. I then went on my way to work. (Fine Jewelry Department was where I shopped.)

We love Pennys for their $21 mens jeans. They hold up awesome and they always have a great selection of sizes and different shades.

Today I hit Sephora and they were excellent and had just what I needed.

Sale and special deals PLUS extra bucks! Employee who rang me in was GREAT trying to figure out the best way to get most bang for buck. Took extra time for me, and did not get rude. Got 2 womens exercise outfits for a little over $60! Very happy, and will be back!

All I needed was sterling silver ball stud earrings and they dont even have those

The styles to pick from this year are horrendous, we couldnt find a single dress worth buying for the upcoming military ball. Embarrassing.Sephora is still rockin it though!

I went to JC Penney to buy a suit. The sales associate was terrific to work with. He was spot-on with my jacket size and helped find the best price for suitcoat and pants. He was knowledgeable and very helpful. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend shopping here.

I rarely shop at this store. They dont have a good selection of clothes for men or women. Its very drab and boring. If I do shop there its for their sales in bed n bath section only and I usually find better deals and quality at Target. The Sephora shop is dirty, messy and too expensive! The merchandise on the shelves is never organized. And the employees are always too busy to help you (either chatting with each other or on their phones)! There are better places to shop at the mall or downtown.

Because of the structural upheaval of the company, customer service has become somewhat lackluster (with the very notable difference of the makeup/beauty department, which I don’t use but have noticed employees very attentive and helpful to customers), the store always feels like it’s in a state of transition.

Terrible customer service.Made online order, package was delivered and left at (anybodys guess) front door of at an apartment building, ship to address did not have a apt.# on it.The 1st person i discussed with at Pennys cust.service stated he would issue a credit, no credit came.Called and taljed to 2nd person, basically told me i have no recourse and to write a letter to the apartment manager whoever that is?? But he would be happy to place another order for me..attempted to locate package at apt.build..good luck..Talked to the 3rd person this am, he again said i am out of luck, its on me..I never hired UPS, Pennys hired UPS and billed me for their service. UPS is Pennys subcontractor.I finally asked for a supervisor, she credited it instantly. I Asked why such big problem with the 1st 3 people, no idea she said why they did not issue me a credit.The 2nd and 3rd employee men i talked to are not very customer focused.I have had been a customer of Pennys for over 30 years snd have had a Pennys card 15+ years.No more online irdering from Pennys, where I do a good part of my shopping and maybe never again at the store.Kohls is worth the drive.

Ive never had a great love for department stores, so there isnt one in existence that could possibly get 5 stars from me, but I find them useful when I could find a good deal. We were visiting from NJ, and needed new shoes for the kids and my wife anyway, so we went there. Got a ton of savings by getting their card. Also replaced wifes wedding ring that got stolen, upgraded mine and replaced her engagement ring that her fingers had outgrown.The young lady in jewelry put a lot of time and effort into helping us, and did an incredible job, especially since it was her first day. For mens sizes, they didnt have below a 9 in store, so we had to order mine, since Im a 7.5. That led to my only complaint. I dont want to seem ungrateful, and shell probably learn as she continues on the job, but theres not a man alive on this earth who would ever, EVER appreciate hearing that he has, and I quote, petite fingers. If she hadnt already been extremely helpful, that might have cost a sale. Instead, it only cost a star in what would have otherwise been a 4 star review.

Jewelry department lifetime warranty is complete garbage. They decide when the warranty is up even though they claim lifetime warranty. They refused to replace a missing diamond on my wedding ring unless they take it apart & solder it back all for an extra cost. When i took it riddles they said this place is silly that they cant replace a diamond without taking it apart. I 100% agree sounded fishy from the start. It is absolute joke jcpenney cant replace one diamond even though your store warranty claims this.. just find reasons not to. Greedy, never going back to this place again. I will however go to riddles. They treated me well unlike jcpenney. Go to riddles save yourself the headache yes you pay more but atleast they are what they stand by & do way better work that doesnt look sloppy like jcpenney jewelry.
