We had 5 weeks to move out in this crazy post pandemic housing market but all the Intrastate movers were booked 6 to 8 weeks in advance. We heard about Move Daddy from another booked-up moving company and so I checked on line and liked what I saw. I begged the scheduler Kylan for just one truck on one day to help us move the biggest heavy items and said we would somehow manage to do the rest on our own. He made some calls and worked his schedule and some how found a crew and truck to do it. The 2 man crew of Zack and Josh are excellent. They arrived on time, were courteous, patient and understood our concerns for some of the heavy antiques we had. They not only loaded their truck but loaded our small truck with the remaining heavy but delicate items. We drove our truck and met them at our new location where they unloaded their truck and then helped us with ours. Not only did they keep to their schedule, all of our furniture was placed and assembled where the pieces needed to be and nothing was broken or damaged. All of the hard work by these people and their willingness to help us made all of the difference to these 70 something customers.

Nick and Conrad were great with our move! It was amazing to see what just the two of them could move and how quickly they could do it. I shopped several movers and found MoveDaddy to be the best value. They moved all the things I needed move in almost half the time estimated and had real hustle. They were personable and interesting, and very knowledgeable and decisive about how each item should be moved and in what order. Our crew of Christian, Alex, and Murph arrived early and worked hard all day getting us moved and set up in our new home. They were running back and forth from the truck. Hands down, the best movers ever! Exceptional would be an understatement. Chris and Nick were polite and professional. The care they took with my items was impressive especially considering the stairs I have in my home. Furniture delivery men have not handled the stairs as well. I highly recommended these guys and this company. Very happy with the service. The only thing I don’t like is that they charge you for their ride back to the shop. I feel like they should stop charging once the job is over.

I scheduled with Movedaddy for a long distance move after two other moving companies fell through. It was incredibly easy to schedule with them over the phone in comparison with the other businesses. Mark and Harrison did an excellent job even though the parking situation was difficult, it was pouring rain, and they had to climb a flight of stairs. Ive used move daddy twice now and both times I had a 5 star experience. Seth and Joshua had to problem solve and maneuver heavy furniture into an old apartment building with narrow hallways and doors. Unfortunately they were unable to get my large couch in the door after trying everything possible, but I couldnt even be mad after the group effort and brainstorming. Joshua and Seth remained positive and professional throughout my entire challenging move.A few days later when I had to move in my new couch, I called Jered for advice. He offered to send two movers to pick up the couch from the warehouse and bring it in for me! It wasnt easy but Izaak and McManus were miraculously able to fit a sectional in my new place. They set it up for me as well.Move daddys customer service is outstanding. A stressful move was made bearable because of them. This is easily the best moving company in Birmingham at a reasonable price.

My company recently relocated to a different office building across town. Move Daddy sent us two guys, Mark and Izaac, who provided outstanding service! They were fast and didnt damage a single one of our office items. They moved everything from bookcases and desks to picture frames and vases. I recommend these two guys and this company 10/10

Movers were extremely slow and inefficient. I was pressured to hire a second crew during the move for twice the cost because they were unable to move the contents of a 3 BR house in 11 hours. Movers frequently carried only one small box at a time. Never utilized the hand trucks for multiple boxes. They broke my Christmas china and lied about it. I called to address the issues with management and was told there was no way I could have had a bad experience because they only have excellent reviews.

We moved from our apartment to our home on Monday with Jacob, Ryan, and Seth. Then on Tuesday we moved out of our storage unit with Jacob and Angel. Both teams were professional, on time, took great care handling our furniture at ALL times. They even took furniture for us that we no longer needed. I just moved from an apartment into a house, and probably called every moving company in Birmingham for a quote - Move Daddy was the least expensive and the quickest to get back to me, so I chose them based only on that. I was BEYOND impressed with the service they provided, and I was very skeptical since they were so inexpensive! Chris and Izaak arrived exactly on time and were very polite. When they got started, they were literally running back the apartment to get the next load. When they got to the house, I was a little nervous because we live on a narrow street and it is tricky to get into our driveway. The previous movers (different company) left tire tracks all over the lawn. Move Daddy maneuvered the truck in perfectly without touching a single blade of grass. They worked very quickly and efficiently moving everything in and making sure everything was where I wanted it. This was my first move with Move Daddy but next time I will definitely use them again!

Mark and Izaac helped our office move buildings IN THE POURING RAIN! They were kind, professional, but the most impressive thing is that they get paid by the hour and they RAN the whole time! They were so fast and helped us move in half the time we thought it would take!

Had several pieces with glass shelves and glass doors and they took extra care in being sure they were safe. Every time I talked with someone in this company they were both courteous and helpful. My daughter scheduled this company to move her belongings from her apartment to our home, both residences are approximately 6 miles apart. My daughter had been quoted $108 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours. The guys were very personable and polite. Upon arrival, I asked that they move a 1 couch, 2 chairs, and 1 recliner to a space in the basement. Because I knew that this was in addition to the task of the move that they were hired for, I full well expected to pay whatever the charge for this additional work. They’d arrived at my daughter’s apartment at 8am and presented me with the contract at 10:08am...2 hours and 8 minutes. Seeing that the charge was $378, I inquired if the extra had been to move the other items. To my surprise the young man told me that there was no additional charge, as we were being charged by the hour. I then asked if that were the case, why were we charged almost double the contracted 2 hours. He nicely explained that they charge from the time that they leave their office until they arrive back at the office and then there is a charge for cleaning the vehicle. It felt like I was being fleeced but I did not object, considering that they’d moved the other items. I paid and provided a $50 tip for each of them and before going on their way, the young man with the paperwork asked that I please provide them a review on GOOGLE...Well here it is...After going down to the basement, I was beyond appalled and unsettled by the haphazard an uncaring manner that they left the items that they moved for me. Both chars thrown above the couch, the cushions were scattered about the floor and the recliner had been taken apart. For the life of me, I cannot understand why these items were placed in this manner, It took more work to disassemble and place them in such disarray, that it would have to place them in a neat order. Further, when my husband arrived home, he located the handle for the recliner in the street. In all honesty, I fault myself for not going down into the basement while they were there. I just never could have imagined that this is how they left things, especially after being asked to write a review. Just so we’re clear...I would never use or recommend this moving company. I was fleeced and my personal belongings were disrespected, and I tipped for the favor! Too bad I can’t give 0 or under a star!

Nick and Jenkins moved our older 300+ lb spindle piano into our upstairs loft from the downstairs garage. They were extremely careful not to damage the piano or our newly built house. They complied to wearing booties, mask and gloves due to the Covid situation and were extremely professional. After the piano move they then moved an armoire to my sister’s house and were equally professional there. They were on time. I would highly recommend using this moving service and ask for Nick and Jenkins!

I needed a baby grand piano moved in-house while some floors were redone. Along with this, moving of some other heavy items out of a room to accommodate the piano being moved. I then had Move Daddy come back 2 weeks later after a floor repair. They moved a lot of furniture throughout my house up and down stairs and outside on ramps to give my living spaces a fresh look. They moved my piano a few inches several times after they were done assembling it to get it in the exact right position I wanted. I’m very grateful to Tucker and Jenkins. They constantly asked me with a positive attitude what else they could do to help me. I will keep hiring Move Daddy in the future.

Had a last minute move and these guys were very accommodating with my schedule. Jenkins and Nick worked twice as fast and hard as any other movers I’ve ever used. Even assembling two bed frames and installing our washer/dryer. I don’t know where they find these guys but you would’ve never thought it was their second move of the day in 100 degree heat and humidity. Will 100% use again. Did in 6 hours what it took “Two Men and a Truck” to do in 13 for half the price.

I just want to commend Move Daddy for a fantastic move. I recently downsized into a smaller space which meant two-stops including transferring items into a storage unit and a home. The movers did an excellent job and did it in record time and with great care. Start to finish, Ive yet to have a better moving experience than with MoveDaddy. Getting a rate quote from and booking the move with Jered was simple. Mark and Izaak arrived shortly prior to our arranged meet time, and after walking them through the apartment, they got to work. By the time Id finished breaking down a large bed, theyd already loaded everything else! At the new home, the unload was just as fast, with the occasional stop only to see where I wanted specific items placed. Since I wasnt breaking down a bed this time, I was able to see that although theyd loaded the truck quickly, my items had been packed and secured into the truck with care, and were unloaded with the same amount of care. These guys are good!

I have used Move Daddy twice, and both times have exceeded my expectations. This latest time Kylan and Tyler helped us empty our storage unit of appliances, a piano and assorted stuff. Had to move a 112 year old piano across town this past week. I called a few places and MoveDaddy by far gave me the best quote. On top of that, they had a crew ready to go right then. Tyler, Alex, and Xavier met me about 30 minutes later ready to go! These guys worked like a well oiled machine. Very professional, hard working, didnt waste any time, and took great care with the piano. They had the 700 lb piano loaded, moved, and in place at the destination all in under 2 hours. I will definitely be calling MoveDaddy for my next move.

Jordan, Justin and JR did a very good job. They were quick, careful to not break anything and very friendly. I would certainly recommend them then the other movers (I dont want to name them) who broke our table and were not friendly.

Three guys moved a VERY heavy piano that we didnt realize was quite so large/heavy. They had to call in an additonal person (he was the third mover) and they did this with no complaint. They were great, did a fantastic job, and were hard workers. Well use them again!

My first experience with Move Daddy was while our home was for sale. We had to thin out some of our belongings which included our piano. As you might imagine we were nervous. The piano move went off without a hitch. The men who performed this move were courteous, thoughtful and most important, very careful. When our home sold we again hired Move Daddy. Move Daddy did an excellent job taking care of us in Atlanta. They did a local move for us that took all the pressure out of a stressful transition to a new house. They moved everything in about 4 hours in a 26 foot truck. We moved out of a 3 bedroom ranch to a 4 bedroom two story house. They professionally packed the truck so that nothing moved around or was broken in the drive to the new house.
