I came in 3 years ago intending to purchase and did not have the support from my wife to do so. I walk in a little over 3 weeks ago and Kevin Callaway not only remembers me but picks up right where we left off 3 years ago. He was able to get me into the 2021 Panigale V4 with some custom items and 2 of the baddest Arai helmets so my wife and I can ride. Kevin is knowledgeable about bikes especially the Ducati brand and and absolute professional. Ill be back in next year to help get my 21 year old son a Ducati of his own and yes, Ill be going to Kevin.Beyond Kevin the overall staff has the same professional quality and the dealership is always immaculate. I live an hour away and have no problem making the drive for the type of service you get here.

This is a changed review from my previous 1 star rating. I received a call from the service manager yesterday very shortly after I posted a negative review. After discussing the issues I was having, they have made an effort to resolve my issues and change my opinion of them. Also received a phone call and voice mail from the owner today which I hope to return shortly. Their reaching out to me and offers to make up for the problems I had with them are greatly appreciated.

Stopped in to check the place out and get my eyeballs on their inventory potentially for an upgrade next year as well as pickup some merchandise. The staff were very nice and easy to talk to but I didnt want to take up too much of their time on this occasion.Very premium location, seemingly every model in their lineup was represented in their showroom. Looking forward to doing some damage to my bank account in there one day.

Super clean and up-scale environment. Really next level design for their showroom. Always stacked with awesome bikes and the staff helped pick out a Ducati onesie for our newborn.

I’m sure they are amazing at selling bikes but they are also genuinely good people! My car broke down on Woodward right outside their shop and people were honking and rushing around me. It was really scary and I was afraid I was going to get hit. This team spotting what was happening and 10 of them ran out, stopped traffic and pushed me to safety in their parking lot. I am so grateful!

I bought Monster 1200S a few months ago. It was a long distance online transaction. The salespersons attitude and communication changed after he received my payment. He did not send me the documents for titling as he promised. I had to contact him a few more times to receive them. The same thing happened to the extra key and owners manual as well. His way of communication was far from respectful, either. If you want the normal respect as a customer and do not want to damage your mental health, you need to avoid them, at least online transactions with them.

Where do I start? How about the end... called me last week said repairs complete bike ready to leave, I show up a week later and the bike wasnt ready had to wait 45 minutes for them to roll it out.Prior to this they wrote me up a 1300 dollar estimate, 600 was for repairs the other 700 was time to write me a better estimate - place is a joke.Also once I told them I didnt want to pay them to write an estimate, the bill for repairs increased by 50% because they say they forgot to estimate the time to install the part then close the bike back up.

Excellent service and a real pleasure to work with. Kevin went out of his way to communicate with me outside of normal business hours and made sure everything went smoothly. They were able to ship the bike to me in 3 days!

I went in with my daughter because we have been looking for a Shoei RF - 1200 and had not been able to find anyplace with a selection of sizes. When we called up there they were friendly and helpful so we thought we would give it a shot. The salesmen who helped us was patient with my daughter and had more knowledge of helmets then anyone I have spoken to. He explained the differences between models, he took a measurement, he ordered a special graphic for her. I will be bringing my business back here again for sure.

Bought a new 1260s Multistrada 3 weeks ago. Hadnt heard from or recieved my registration / plate yet. Called my sales associate Kevin who took some extra time to find out what was going on. He called me back after their normal business hours and filled me in on the delays at the Secretary of State due to Covid issues. Also want to give Kevin a 5 star rating for the way he took care of sale. Went quickly and without a hitch. He also took the time to show me all the controls and such. When I got the bike home, I was playing with some of the electronic settings and got stuck and couldn t get it to change. A quick call to Kevin resolved the issue. Was glad I didnt have to trailer it back to the dealership before I even got a chance to take it for a good break in ride.

I have called 7 other Ducati store around my area here in Chicago to look for this particular Ducati AGV peak v5 helmet and Morgon Lynch was able to help me and sent me photos of the helmet via her personal cell and ship it to me. Sold me a 400 dollar dark rider helmet and let me tell you that helmet saved my life, I highly recommend it to anyone riding rather it be passenger, or non Ducati. My boyfriend and I were t boned and no head injuries at all. It was the most comfortable helmet ever and with the built in sunglasses you felt even more protected. .

First of all I Think everyone in the store are very friendly people, Charlie has helped me out and Connor in service was very helpful and honest. Having that being said, I think they are mostly there to make money. My first visit I test rode a few bikes. Which seemed to annoy them.. I was letting a bike warm up (1299) and One of the employees came out and kind of scolded me and said I shouldnt let it just sit and run. (even though it was a completely cold bike).My second visit I went in to buy some accessories. I chose my part and went to order the part. One of the employees went to the back and ended up finding the part I was looking for. AWESOME but after I left I looked at the bag which had a used sticker on it with a marked down price ( I was charged full price). The parts were slightly scratched and it had stock bolts inside which ended up not fitting and I had to use one of my own bolts.I think these guys judge based on your age and looks and try to pull what they can. Very well considering not going back here

This is the one and only Ducati dealership in the metro Detroit area. Good people here to help you get in to the new or used bike of your dreams. I purchased a Ducati cafe street racer a couple of years back and owned it for a while before having to get rid of it- mainly due to storage issues. The bike was amazing, stylish and moved quick. It was a head turner and I enjoyed driving it down the local streets of Royal Oak. I never owned prior to purchasing this vehicle but it was fairly easy to learn, I hopped right onto it and drove around the neighborhood after watching some YouTube videos. Definitely would recommend taking a course beforehand or getting a cheap used bike because I dropped it the first week. The Ducati service shop took care of my damage in a timely fashion and had me back on riding within a day or so. I purchase my helmet from here too, which they gave me a good deal for along with the bike.

Not very willing to give much at all to make a deal compared to other brand motorcycles. Finance deals not really competitive at all compared to what other brands of motorcycles offer. A couple very nice motorcycles. Just dont look to any kind good deal. Msrp is about what they want to get.

My husband and I visited Ducati Detroit to explore purchasing a used Monster M696 to compliment our current bikes. Charlie Knoll was very knowledgeable and helpful. His encouragement to test ride distinctly different models gave us insight into several Ducati riding experiences. We ended up purchasing the 696, then returned to purchase a Scrambler as well. We used Charlie as a sounding board and with his feedback, decided to buy another Monster (instead of the Scrambler). My husbands ride home confirmed the new M797 was the right choice.We have a small issue with our M696 which Charlie willingly and quickly organized resolution. Super nice guys, but they lack actual service. Took my bike in three times and they told me the service was done, but it was never completed. They told me there was a bunch of stuff that needed to be done to the bike, I told them multiple times to do the work but would like an estimate first, after asking multiple times they never once sent me the estimate.

Ducati Detroit sets the gold standard for motorcycle dealerships. Customers are made to feel like much more than customers...more like a part of the Ducati family. Problems sometimes happen with anything mechanical but they are handled with a speed and professionalism. This dealership is a game changer...I only wish my car dealer was half as good.

Do not use this dealership for winter storage. Should anything happen to your motorcycle while in Ducati Detroit’s care, it will take them 7+ weeks to fix it. I can understand delays due to COVID-19, but that much of a delay is unacceptable and not worth the risk - especially during riding season.I used Ducati Detroit’s winter storage service to store my 2016 Honda Rebel for the 2019-2020 winter. During that period the Ducati Detroit location staff lost the motorcycle key I left in their care. Upon picking up the bike on April 25th I was told that Ducati Detroit would replace the lost key. Over the next 6 weeks I placed numerous calls with Ducati Detroit to check on the status of the replacement key. These calls lacked any follow-up from Ducati Detroit. It was not until June 5th, on a call that I initiated, that a service representative confirmed that Ducati Detroit had received my bike’s blank replacement key. During this period I was able to order and receive two blank keys myself. The service staff was willing to assist me in having the keys cut and provided expected delivery dates, but these delivery dates were missed. The service staff did not contact me after missing these dates. I had to drive to the store once and informed them that I was planning to do so a second time in order to receive any information about the cut replacement keys.To be completely fair, the quality of the service was great. The tune up my bike received was far better than any other work that I have had done on the bike. And when Ducati Detroit did decide to help me, they drove to my location and completed the labor for free. But this did not occur until June 17th.A wait time of April 25th to June 17th is unreasonable and not worth the risk of using this location. I could have had this corrected myself, but I wanted to give Ducati Detroit the opportunity to make good on their promise. That was a mistake. I am a new rider on a beginner bike and this experience has convinced me to never do business with Ducati Detroit.

Purchased a 2019 Monster 821. The entire process was so smooth. I worked with Charles, he was very patient and super knowledgeable about the motorcycle as well as the purchasing process. My whole paperwork process went very smooth. The entire staff was super warm and friendly. Even during the test drive they explained me all my questions and made me understand the technical aspects. The entire facility has class and some fancy motorcycles. They have a Desmosedicci RR, I mean that’s a motogp bike ! again, great experience. I would say even if you don’t have a endorsement, go to the shop enjoy the machines, talk with the staff... it will be a good experience!

Detroit Ducati is the type of dealership you always dream of dealing with. Extremely knowledgeable, polite staff who cares about everyone that walks through the doors. They do not pressure you at all when your are looking around the dealership which is very nice as this allows the customer to become very familiar with the Ducati products. I have always loved Ducatis but I never thought I would own one. One Sunday I stopped by the store just to look at the bikes but ended up taking 2 demo rides on a 797 and a 821 Monster. The next day when I arrived at home from work my Wife said there is a message from the Ducati Dealer on our answering machine. I listened to the message and it was from Charlie the owner of Detroit Ducati, he was calling to see if I had any questions about the bikes I road or any other questions. I had to go out of town the next week but the following weekend on Saturday when I returned, I called and spoke with Charlie again by phone. I made a deal for an 821 Monster over the phone and that afternoon I picked up my 821 Monster. The next morning Sunday after I picked up my bike I received a call from Charlie to see how I was enjoying the bike and to answer any questions I may have. How many dealers would bother to call you on a Sunday to see how you were enjoying your new bike or to answer any questions? This is the dedication Charlie and the entire staff at Detroit Ducati emulate. Detroit Ducati also finds various ways to help owners further enjoy their bikes through various events that Detroit Ducati puts on. I would highly recommend Detroit Ducati to anyone looking to buy a motorcycle. A dealership and a staff like Detroit Ducati has is extremely rare to find.

I went to Ducati Detroit to take a look at a motorcycle. I walked out being the proud owner of an awesome bike (not the one I went there for) and some gear. So, I bought my SF848 here almost a year ago, and its been a blast. I left a review here on Google and got a phone call in less than 15 minutes from my sales rep Charlie asking if there was anything he could do for me. Turns out there is, as I was in the market for a few go-fast bits. About 30% creepy, 70% cool, and 110% great customer service. These guys won my business by being the only Ducati shop in town, but theyve kept it by being AWESOME.

Walked in this place during the Dream Cruise. The interior design is amazing! The guys working there were so nice and offered me food and drinks, even though I was looking around. They also gave me a tour of the facility. Very cool place, I hope to stop back in soon.

I just dropped my Streetfighter off for some warranty work and I have to say that Im 100% satisfied with my experience so far. Everyone was nice, welcoming, very helpful and most importantly- treated me like I was family. The inside is exactly how a Ducati dealership should be. It is clean, modern, and has lots of beautiful bikes and clothes on display.Im happy that there is another Ducati dealer in the area and I definitely will be going here from now on.

I have been shopping for a new bike for months and went to numerous dealers. I never felt comfortable in the dealerships I visited until I came to DD. They create a great environment to not only shop but just hang out and talk bikes. They are enthusiasts and riders that enjoy riding as much as the customers. Charlie runs a great shop and was instrumental in helping me find the bike of my dreams.

I took my bike, which is not a Ducati, in to have a gasket replaced and while the gasket was replaced somewhere in the middle something else happened that basically made my bike inoperative.I do not want to go into too much detail because the point of this 5 star review is not related to the fix for the bike. This review is solely about Charlie and how he operates Ducati Detroit. He was very polite, very considerate, and very professional during this particular issue. He could have been dismissive, or downright rude about the whole thing or even denied it, but he did not. He took ownership of it, worked with me, and in the end we found a resolution that was amicable.I am writing this review because buyers need to know that Charlie, Ducati Detroit, is an honorable, hard working business and has earned my trust and business. I hope anyone who reads this will understand that it is worth every penny to go there. When it is time to buy a Ducati, I will be going here.

We bought a Scrambler a couple weeks ago. First experience with Ducati. Charlie and his staff are all very friendly and helpful. They understand customer service and make you feel like a member of the family. Great experience.

Great customer service experience! I purchased my bike and made several after market modifications and the techs/sales guys are incredibly knowledgeable. Doesn’t hurt that the dealership itself is a cool place to shop around

I was upgrading my bike this Spring but wasnt sure about a Hypermotard or FZ-09. I know pretty different bikes. I decided to take the 1.5 hour drive to Ducati Detroit. The shop is gorgeous. I met with Charlie who was very enthusiastic and just a nice guy. Once I sat on the bike I knew it was the one I wanted. Charlie was low pressure (I didnt find out that he was the owner till later that day). I was impressed with his friendly attitude. He gave me a price and I left waiting on some other offers from out of state. He called me the next day to see if he could work with me to earn my business so I gave him my number. He asked for a day to see if he could work the numbers and the next day he called with a final number which included delivery. I was very happy with the deal. This is a Ducati only and Ducati Detroit are the only ones that I want to work on my Ducati. Great experience. I cant wait to add some mods to the bike and get to a track day.

This shop is awesome. I dont ride a Ducati, but I purchase all of my Dainese D-Air riding gear from Ducati Detroit. They are experts in all facets of the motorcycle business and dont discriminate just because I ride a Yamaha!

Id a annual service on my motorcycle couple of weeks ago. The people are friendly and especially Cornor in service is nice and very helpful.

I have been riding for 45 years and this is one of the best dealerships I have ever visited. Motorcycle shops used to be a place where enthusiasts could meet in a friendly, relaxed environment and share a passion for the sport. Ducati Detroit has revived that spirit! There is never a sense of pushy salesmanship or an unwelcome attitude toward browsing. Charlie and Kevin are patient and courteous. Chip and the guys in the back are knowledgeable and open. Charlie gave me excellent direction in selecting a motorcycle, steering me away from a more expensive model. The customer truly came before profit at Ducati Detroit and I have been enjoying my Monster 1200 ever since!

In general, this is the best motorcycle dealership Ive ever been to. The showroom is beautiful, the staff are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and their bike and accessory inventory is stacked. I ended up buying a new Streetfighter here. The initial purchase was handled exceptionally and the service so far has been similarly wonderful. To anyone considering a Ducati or even one of their used bikes, good luck trying to buy from anywhere else after visiting this place.

I was provided proper test rides and product features. Kevin and Charlie helped and accomodated well when I changed my order. Good staff, showroom and services.I guess some constructive criticism I can provide is that, they should engage with customers more. Bike delivery is average. I wasnt even introduced / informed about initial instrumentation and maintenance basics upon delivery. Was given a key and was let to go on my own to a bike which was just standing outside and took about 4 hours for delivery (lots of time!).
