Dealing with a dealership is always a rough time. The back and forth with how much you want vs how much you can trade. The overbearing pressure of the car buying process can really stress one out but at Serra Kia Trussville that goes out the window. The Sales Team really works hard to get you what you are looking for. You are met with smiling faces and a very relaxed environment. Go buy a car from this place you wont be disappointed. Ask for Johnathon tell him I sent you. He will treat you right and cater to your needs. Very responsive and will go above and beyond for you.
I just want to say first off the the sales people are nice and friendly. The manager or whoever he was last night was a piece of work, cant really say what I want on this one. I stayed nice and understanding but will not come back because its one thing to ask for numbers when you are looking but its another thing to be pushy and telling the CUSTOMER how to do your job. Plus when I ask for my keys back, dont try and keep telling me what you have to do.
5 - star to the friendly sales reps. Matthew was a great, honest guy and was really hands on and helpful. Stayed in contact even after leaving. Management wouldnt budge on the price of the vehicle we wanted even though it had issues with the sunroof that was too costly to repair, but overall had a good experience.
The salesman I had charged me more for the car then it was listed for. Ashley the man. I realized it after I left. You can go to better places to get cars. He literally pulled out a graph of monthly payments that were very inflated versus just being transparent about what I would get for my trade in and the listed price of the car. If you get Ashley or if anyone else there does the what do you want your monthly payment to be - walk away. You can go to better dealerships. There is one right down the street. EchoPark and another one I cannot recall. Not worth it. Plus, the check engine light keeps coming on. So that violates lemon laws. I am also noticing this is happening to all the women in the reviews.
Be aware and AVOID this dealership at all cost. Absolutely no commitment for customer satisfaction. All words, but absolutely NO actions.. I had an agreement to deliver a new Carnival SX prestige on trailer but they instead drove it and put 200 miles on a BRAND NEW vehicle. To make it even worse, the driver stated that he hit some object in transit causing an exterior damage to the vehicle but the dealership would not do a thing to remedy it. Wait, did I say that its supposed to be a brand new car? Instead, told me that they would pay for damage repair if I take it to the nearest KIA dealership. (By the way, the earliest appointment time available is 2 months from now) Wait, Why am I chasing around to get this damage fixed on a brand NEW vecicle that was not even my fault to begin with? Id expect the dealership to take a full responsibility and fix the situation but clearly theyve shown no intention/willingness to rectify the situation and satisfy their VERY UNHAPPY customer. Yes, Ive agreed to cancel the contract and they are now taking back the vehicle and driving across the states just so that they can put it back in their lot hoping to sell it as a used vehicle to their next customer. Maybe next time I should ask them if I could borrow their brand new vehicle and take it for a spin and return it with some damage and say Sorry, sometime accident happens and I gotta go, but send me the bill and I will pay for it later How would that make you feel? I cant believe that I am even giving them one star. (Google wouldnt let me post this unless I give 1 star)

I was looking for a car around, stopped around to see the inventory. Asked about what they have and give an offer for a car but never back to me about the offer even for knowing if it’s approved or not. Waiting area is simple and not representing the dealership very well.I am not going back again

Our Kia is on the factory recall list for replacement of the engine. The car has been sitting at their shop for close to five months awaiting repair. We continually get the runaround when we call, or go down to get answers. It’s gone from waiting on the plant for parts, to waiting on an engine, and even been told that they thought the car was traded in so they put it at the end of the list. We were told that no loaner cars were available. We have tried to speak with the general manager, but he never seems to be available. In the meantime, we purchased another vehicle for transportation. I wouldn’t recommend these folks to anyone.
I share a similar story about my car being on the engine recall list. My appointment was in early June, and I just got the call this morning it was finally ready to go! Throughout this process, I’ve been quite upset and disappointed at times. BUT, I came to realize just how backed up they were with these recalls and such a lack of help. There was basically one man trying to do the work of 15. So, I thank Mr, Bill for working so hard and I appreciate you getting my car back to me.
Cant begin to tell you how Awful this Dealership is!! Have tried to get a warranty replacement on engine consuming alot of oil and left it with them on September 2nd and it is now October 4th and they havent moved it from the spot it was parked a month ago. I have been down there 4 times asking for Manager and he is never available so I left notes every time and not one phone return call. I have called down asking the status and why its been a month and no one has even looked at vehicle and the guy at the desk says he doesnt know why but will get the Manager to call me back and of course no call back! I have contacted kia customer support and started a case on car and stated they would get with Dealership and contact us back to try and get car serviced. That was 2 weeks ago and customer service hasnt contacted back and we have stayed on phone holding for customer support and left messages and cant get anyone to call back even from kia customer support! Never have seen such a terrible company in my life! I am picking up my car today and contacting a lawyer to begin proccess to sue them because this is obviously the only way I will get anything done out of kia!!

They rarely answer the phone. I have been trying to get AC repaired in my 2017 Sportage for 4 years. I have made 4 appointments to leave my vehicle overnight with a promise of a loaner vehicle however the loaner is never available at the scheduled appointment. Today, 5th attempt to get AC fixed and recall, they are not open! If this has been my experience over the last 4 years then it seems unlikely that the higher ratings are real.
I purchased a new vehicle from this dealership and everything was smooth and quick with the purchase and delivery. The problems began after the sale, as I needed my registration documents for the tag and title. I had to call and text several times over several days to reach the finance manager. He assured me my documents would be overnighted to the correct place. My documents never arrived and I was never sent tracking information. When I reached out to request they tell me what happened, I received no communication, just text messages telling me they will check on it with no follow up. My temporary tag expires in a few days and my car is not registered. They have not returned my calls or given me any information to follow up on.Update in response to Clint Wright on 8/11/21After posting my review, I received a text message from the salesman I worked with providing me with a screenshot of communication among the office staff stating they have lost my MSO, the document needed to register my vehicle. This was yesterday, 8/10/21. They also confirmed they lied about sending my documents to the clerk’s office since they’ve lost this information, nothing has been sent. Clint, your response that you have just posted is also a lie. I’ve called your office, asked for you, and left voicemails but you won’t return my calls or actually speak to me outside of text messages. I will not be able to drive my new car as of next Monday. This service is unacceptable and the lying is shameful.

Went there for a recall service, they said it was so busy they had appointment scheduled for weeks! Ive always have taken my to them to fix, not no more! The customer service person told me it was a fuse or modular problem! The recall letter said it was a leak on the motor around brake fluid and could cause fire! Theres more Kia dealers not this one!

Highly do not recommend Serra Kia Trussville. I purchased a vehicle from them, I loved the vehicle but it had an exterior technical difficulty. I stated during my buying experience that I did NOT want to purchase the vehicle without them fixing it. They agreed to fix the problem, we signed paperwork confirming that there was a known issue and that it would be fixed to which they failed to do. My car was at the dealership an accumulative 3 weeks. Several small stays and several large stays. I live over an hour away and I drove to them each time to settle this issue. They never were honest and continually told me they were working on the issue. I drove away today (over a month later) for the last time with the issue still unresolved. Due to this experience I do not recommend this dealership for any of your car buying needs. Honesty is not a high priority and doing the right thing is a foreign concept.

After car purchase, no communication about promised repairs that are IN OUR CONTRACT. I have sent 5-6 emails, received a reply to one almost two weeks ago letting me know that their service team will contact me, but that has yet to happen even after additional communications.When I call instead of email about these issues, Im forwarded to voice mailboxes that are full. Apparently I will need to show up in person to get their attention.Also did not provide temporary tag or copy of title or register the vehicle as far as I can tell. Some of the highest dealer fees in the state, and they did absolutely nothing with them. I am now in contact with my lienholder to get a copy of the title to register the vehicle myself.On top of the above, there were further issues with the vehicle mechanically that did not show in the test drive, like the rear doors not closing properly and allowing severe leaks during rain.Dubious body work covered accident from a previous damage but left faults like the one mentioned above....internal components, like door latches, not visible to purchaser, were not replaced and were in bad shape.

I went in Monday 1/25 to address some recall issues with my Kia Sorrento. I had called a few places because I needed the recalls repaired before an upcoming road trip. The process of setting up an appointment was so easy and personal. I actually went back and cancelled my appointment with a larger dealership.The man that helped me was so kind and courteous. The waiting area was clean and everyone was wearing masks and socially distancing. I will definitely be returning to Serra Kia in the future.
Not a good experience, yall said yall fixed my car in January and charged me 975.00 and its still doing the same thing and today yall said I have a tire problem will if its a tire problem now i guess it was a tire problem then and not a 975.00 axle problem but it was supposed to been fixed and it was not.. just got paid for nothing.. and by the way I have 2 month old tires on my car..

Excellent experience with Bill Wood! My washer fluid was full, but it wouldnt work on my windshield. As a service advisor, Bill was able to see that a hose came loose. He fixed reattached the hose and within minutes I was on my way free of charge.
My husband and I drove to Trussville from the Memphis area, as the wait time for a Telluride in Memphis is 3 months. Our sales associate, Daniel, was easy to work with over the phone and provided a very thorough tour of the vehicle via FaceTime before we made the drive. Upon arrival, we were pleased with the quality of the dealership overall and the employees were very welcoming. We received the best deal possible, considering the crazy Telluride market. We were able to complete our purchase in an hour and were back on the road to Memphis. Thanks to Daniel for all of his help and patience during a not very traditional car buying experience!

I told him what I wanted and he had the exact car that I wanted in inventory. I took it for a test drive. Its gorgeous! I gave him the paperwork, they ran the numbers, and I got exactly what I wanted. It was one of the smoothest car buying experiences. Everyone was personable, friendly and explained everything in detail. No bait and switch. No pushy sales tactics. They treat you like family. Get down there!
Worst attempted car buying experience ever. First question about price was met with snarkiness and then complete radio silence over text. Subsequent emailed complaint was met with a lie that someone else would take care of it. Nothing. All of this over asking the FIRST question about price. You know, the price of a used car theyve only been trying to sell since November.

I purchased a vehicle from Serra Kia on 01/02/2021 and it’s been “in the shop” since then. No one will return my calls or texts. I’ve been hung up on multiple times. I’ve been given three different loaner cars, the current one doesn’t have working AC.
Had an amazing experience at this location. I decided to go to this location due to my home location (Anniston/Oxford) being awful. I will be making this my go to location for all car maintenance and troubles that may arise.

One of the most pleasurable car buying experiences. Janeshia, our salesperson, gave us a very good experience, even while we had a child Im tow. She let us experience buying a vehicle on our terms, was not pushy and did her best to make sure we got the vehicle we needed. She even let us test drive each vehicle with our car seat installed. Even Ross in finance didnt push us in to buying anything, but made recommendations as to what he felt would be good services and warranties based on what it needs might be. When we would decline, that was good enough and he didnt force us to justify our decision. We purchased a brand new Seltos S and felt like we paid a fair price for it and spent a total of about 3 hours in the dealership from start to finish. All in all, would recommend this dealership and Janeshia. I would also recommend the Seltos. How are you people not buying these?!

About a month ago I was looking online for a kia Rio. I found one on their website and it was the best price that i had found. I had been looking for months. We did the almost 2 hour drive to the dealership and test drove the car. Greg Nims was my salesman. The car drove fine. Looked good. I was thinking wow I am getting a great deal. I decided to buy the car. I was expected to sign a paper stating that I received the carfax. I had not received the carfax. Before I signed I asked Greg where they were and he said he would get them. He never did. I asked the finance guy would I get them and he said Greg should get them. I was still at the dealership when I called my insurance company to get covered and she checked the car and it had been in THREE WRECKS!!! ONE SEVERE and two moderate. I brought this up to Greg and he brushed it off and still did not get the carfax. Now I see why the car was so cheap. When I asked for the carfax Greg should have gave them to me.UPDATE: when I went to buy the tag and register the car I had to pay back taxes on the car!!! I contacted Greg to see about getting reimbursed and still no response. I will not go back to serra kia and i will not recommend them. Maybe it is just Greg and not whole dealership??
Bought a car last week never got my registration or title Im being charged late fees when I do get them and cant get in contact with nobody about the issue will be talking to a attorney to help me get through this issue

I went in because my engine light came on. The part was fixed, supposedly. 20 minutes later, my engine light came on again. I dont believe that the mechanic made sure that all the issues were addressed.

- [ ] About 3 weeks ago my 2012 Kia Optima engine locked up. Apparently there’s a recall on The car since other similar cars caught fire due to the same engine issue. I have endured a nightmare trying to get my vehicle fixed on the recall. The kIA in Trussville Alabama has been terrible with getting things done as far as they stated about calling cooperate for an approval which was 3 weeks ago. On top of that they asked my wife to Trade in the car while dealing with the situation which was so unprofessional during the time. To make matters worse they didn’t even provide a rental car (loaner) for the time being. I have spent over $600+ on rental cars out of my own pocket and struggling to keep up with bills. I have to commute to work everyday and this is becoming a struggle . A fix which normally takes a week and half seems to be almost taking 3 weeks and forever. My wife contacted KIA cooperate today and asked about the delay of the approval and fix but apparently KIA of Trussville never attempted anything in the last 3 weeks. They lied about contacting cooperate 2 weeks ago as my wife called them on an update. They have been taking us in circles even though we are trying to be patient. When will this nightmare last KIA?

Belinda Bender was helpful and she made this experience easy, but after driving my car for 24 hours I noticed many problems with my car including having 10 year old tires that the GM refused to replace despite showing on the inspection sheet that everything was properly looked at before the purchase. This was bad business and is dangerous to drive with old tires especially with having a family riding in it. We also had to bring the car back two days later for issues dealing with the cabin air filter, corrosion on the battery cable and trying toFigure out why the clock won’t stay set, the Bluetooth connection won’t stay connected and the radio won’t save my preferred radio list. I’m more than disgusted with how business was handled after paying so much for this car. They told us they had no clue about the radio and we need to send it to Nissan. We took it to Nissan and Nissan states they weren’t suppose to do that but try to fix our problem and if everything was done/inspected correctly before selling us the car, we wouldn’t even be in this situation being they would have caught the problem themselves. Now we may be out of more money to try to fix this problem. Still not even certain what is wrong with the car. The GM even refused to fill our car up because he stated they do not fill cars up with gas unless they are brand new despite having been told from one of the sales representative that worked with us that my car will be on full upon pick up. We picked it up and drove off the lot with 100 miles to empty.. I do not recommend purchasing a car from here. It would be totally different if staff was willing to help with the issues but the GM won’t even do his job to handle these issues we had nothing to do with. Not concerned for the customers at all. I am very familiar with the Consumer Guarantees Act and the Alabama Lemon Law so we will just have to see if anyone reaches out to help handle these problems
I had a recall on my car. It did take several weeks to get the part ordered but once they got the part... The customer service was awesome. They even walked me to my car and opened my door for me! Would highly recommend!

Im sharing about my brother and Sister in Laws horrible experience with this dealership and rude staff. Wish I could give 0 stars. The car which was brought in due to a recall and has been sitting in the lot with no progress. No feedback or updates whatsoever and when they call they are met with rude personnel. Its been almost 3 weeks now and after contacting corporate office, KIA Corporate said they havent been contacted about said vehicle! Such an inconvenience and terrible management. A complaint needs to be filed with BBB and Alabamas Attorney Generals office. Very appalled at how this issue was handled.
Serra Kia Trussville took extremely great care of me (and my car) from the moment I walked into the dealership until the moment I drove away. I visited the dealership this most recent time to receive my first oil change free of charge. I was asked at this time by my representative (Frankie) if I would like a tire rotation as well. I told him no, as I did not have the funds at that time to pay for the service. When my vehicle was done (which was way sooner than what I was promised), Frankie informed me that he went ahead and did the tire rotation free of charge for me as well, along with a system/program upgrade. I could not be more satisfied with my visit, and I will be sure to return for future services. I highly recommend Serra Kia Trussville!

Do not waste your time. Their advertised price online is not their final price.... I called and had extensive conversation about a new vehicle a few months ago and had another follow up call this week. After discussing, I was quoted MSRP + $3995 addendum. After asking what this is, the salesgirl told me Yes, we add that to ALL our new vehicles.... So wait... you tell me you add $4,000 on TOP of MSRP to ALL new Kias? Yes was her response. Alright folks...that makes absolutely no sense. I have never paid OVER MSRP or even MSRP for a new vehicle in all my years of car buying. $4,000 over MSRP for a KIA? That is criminal.

I have been looking for a car for a while because I had been having many problems with our old one and I have 3 children to take care of. I went to Serra Kia in Trussville and Belinda Bender was right there in the parking lot. It was great to see her because I didnt know where to park or where the front door was. The experience I had today with Ms. Belinda Bender was long, but beneficial.She was thoughtful, patient, also she took the time to explain the whole car buying process,so that there was no unanswered question,and because of her we completely understood. She was with us from the beginning till the end, she is an excellent sales consultant and it was a pleasure meeting her.
Leaving this place now and will not be back. I checked their website this morning. They had a vehicle that I want. I communicated by text with one of the staff and verified the vehicle was still available. My husband and I got to the lot. Told the young man which vehicle we wanted to see. He took us inside and started getting information from us. Then, he started asking about payments. I told the young man that I just want to see the vehicle that I came to see. Keep in mind, I am ready to buy. I just want to see the vehicle to make sure there is no exterior or interior damage. Monthly payment amount is not a concern. He left under the pretense of making a copy of my license, and the next thing I know, some woman comes over. She says she is some manager and starts explaining how there are processes that have to be followed. I told her that I have no idea what she was talking about, but we just wanted to see the vehicle we came to see. She then starts to ask 30 questions about other vehicles we may be interested in. She refused to show us the vehicle!! I have never seen anything like that in my life! Seriously- we have to beg someone to sell us a car?? Nope! Goodbye!
