I Have to admit Ive had better experiences at the Ace Hardware. The associate just told me what aisle I could find my items on. Basically welcome to a big Box retailer. Very sad.

Good place to go to get about anything you want for Home furnishings and building material in lawn equipment you name it they got it they are very nice and very helpful and very friendly

Nice employees very interactive. Found the tire guage I have not been able to find for over a year.This is a picture I painted with acrylic paint on canvas Not Purchased from here but I do have some white outdoor paint I got from here with my boyfriend when they advertised on television giving away paint. I was looking for the picture of the tire pressure tool but could not find it quick enough. My mom and her mother. I changed the color because too much in front of me to go get another sponge brush so this was done using only one and blotting out with a paper towel to start another color I had.Trust me ARUBA IS not in Birmingham,Alabama but my weird lying neighbor had this tent in his yard. I think Ace sells tents. I was traveling to california in 2005 and an Aruba tryna followed me to the next state. And a caravan if trucks with my name Lisa splattered Ive the sides. I thought I was being stalked by the man who they thought killed somebody in aruba the next year when flag girl natalie was missing from mountain brook where I lived then moved back for a few months after divorce now called retreat and I was on the high school flag team at a different school.

Love that they offer little medicinal items at the checkout counter. I am forever picking up and trying something. They get me every time!

They had what I needed and I couldnt find it anywhere else in Birmingham. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

If you are tired of the big box stores with no customer service, you are going to love this location!!! This family run, mom and pop, store is full of smiling faces, good conversation and staffed with people that can tell you EXACTLY where everything is and how good it actually is!!! I have been at the register several times and one of the ladies will say no get the other brand its on sale and works just as good... The young and the older gentleman have extensive product knowledge on their power equipment. I would refer any doit yourselfer to this store!!!

I felt safe and at home here. Helpful fast friendly staff. I wish I could remember her name. She answered all my questions educating me from one thing to the next.

Employee was very helpful and quick to service but they sold me the wrong product that I explained to them I was looking for but cant return it because it was a 5 gallon bucket of the wrong stuff. Very upset about that I have limited funds now I have to make it work somehow but cant take away from their persons good people

Nice to still have an alternative to the big box stores. Much more inviting and a pleasant atmosphere compared to shopping in a huge cavernous void. Prices are comparable for the most part but its the convenience that does it for me. Easy parking and access make for a truly pleasant shopping experience.

Good people, very helpful if you are trying to repair something. They will try to help you figure it out. They go the extra mile and then some.

Awesome customer service! I just explained what I thought I needed and the young man walked me to the isle and helped me select exactly what I needed. This has happened on two separate occasions.

Its ok. Not the friendliest place and I have spent some decent money here. Its usually difficult to get help from the people who have worked there awhile but the hired help is always willing to help if they can.

It was packed but the staff really did a great job helping everyone

Formerly known as FHAS or FHASCO or something similar (Forestdale Home And Supply).... I think... This is my local Ace & I like them because they have some specialty items/tools that arent stocked by others. Also, Jackie & Robin are helpful & know their product lines (Snapper/Stihl) really well.
