I shop at Piggly Wiggly in Woodlawn for the fresh meats. I usually can find what Im looking for. They have several check out registers available, not 1or 2. Some of the workers are courteous and a few are helpful

Confused as to why are the cathead biscuits more available than the regular pic 5 biscuits. Catheads dont do as well in the oven. Takes too long.Very frustrating not to be able to go in and find what you prefer. I gues its back to making then homemade

Have had problems with some of the cashiers when myself or my girlfriend go in to get cash back. They have been rude telling us they cant give cash back and making us move lines. Spoke with a manager and was told they can go to office and get cash. There is no reason we should ever be turned away. And now that we have spoken to manager about one specific cashier she is rude and when she saw us day after we reported her she told the cashier she was bagging for and customers in front of us thats the one that told on me like you are concerned about us telling about your rudeness but not in customer service. It is sad that when we come there we are always expecting to have a horrible experience with the cashiers because we are just getting cash back.

Im in/out of Piggly Wiggly. I just go there to pick up from Western Union. Ive shopped there on occasions. Customer service is great.

Cashiers in customer service werent nice and talking customers all alley! Cashiers has on slides and heads tied like they were ready for bed! Atmosphere is very awful!!!!!

This store was well stocked. I even found guacamole I needed at this store.

Easily found what I wanted for fair prices. Its worth the drive for hard-to-find items like Toms Vinegar and Salt chips, Fanta Pina-Colada sodas, Buffalo Rock sodas and Zeigler red hots.

This place... I worked here as a teen and for as long as I can remember it was a sketchy place to go (especially at night).. Overall they have a good selection and my mama shipped here for years. You will be approached for money or a cig in the parking lot. lol

Its clean environment is welcoming. Theyre well stocked, fast check-out are excellent characteristics of quality customer service thats much appreciated.

This store is in an older building. But they cater to their community. There are a lot of Hispanic people who work there and they have a tremendous amount of Hispanic products. This was my reason for visiting. There are Hispanic spices and products that I cannot find in a regular store which I carry at this Piggly Wiggly. The Hispanic people who work there are nice and polite and I do intend to go again because like I said they have every type of spice that you can think of and the prices are reasonable.

Tainted/ Smelly MeatsBe very careful when buying meats from the 🐖 pig. I promise you every time I make the stupid decision to run in out of convience I get home and realize it was a mistake. The Chicken especially smells like a POOT lol the ground beef is pink on the outside but brown on the inside. I dont know what they have going on but this has to stop! I will never take my brown butt in there ever again. Terrible nasty place

This location is near my neck of the woods. I will go here when I dont feel like driving to my favorite grocery store in the Eastwood area. Some of their prices are good...but this location charges an extra 10% charge. Not sure if you are actually saving money or not. Havent done the math to figure it out yet.The workers are nice sometimes...sometimes I question if they know what good customer service is. I have no problem with the quality of the food. Its usually crowded, especially around holidays.Summary: I shop here for convenience. I shop here when I feel lazy and dont want to drive 3 miles to my favorite store. Its not a bad place to shop. Its just not my favorite. It fits the need to grab something quick and fast. Nothing more..nothing less.

I just got back from this Woodlawn store and after showing extra tax on my bill, I approached what I thought was a manager and asked him and he stated that was extra 10percent for services. I didnt get it and as I was letting him know that I didnt see where I was saving if they were charging me extra. He started acting all ignorant because I asked him where am I saving money by charging me an extra charge. This is only done in the black neighborhood. If Im wrong then I will apologize but it still shouldnt cause the manager to tell me to go to another store. You would think the way he was acting that I attacked his store. Calm down bruh, youre working for mr charlie

This is an amazingly clean grocery store. It is very well laid out, the shelves are always fully stocked and they are very well organized. The produce selection is fantastic and it, too, is very well organized as well as being fully stocked. The staff is always very friendly. An unexpected but pleasant surprise was to find a really nice selection of Hispanic food & sundries.

Always a go-to for certain items like fresh greens, and soulfood fixings, etc. They always come through. Thanks For always being that place

Went in to get money orders swift services

Nice store overall....but these store taxes twice.The store is nice, well lit and stocked nicely. However, I did forget that it charges 10% on top of the low price. I purchased items according to my list and thought I was within budget until I got my receipt. I typically shop other places, but since I was with my mother, we went here.Its very unfortunate that you have to add 20% to your final total to know how much you will spend.They did have a few sale prices, but added the 10% really put the item towards the original price.

Shop only when necessary. Prices are high on top tax plus another 10%. Parking is a disaster. However most employees are friendly. They Do Have An Awesome Butcher.

Everything here is cost plus 10%. You can usually find some pretty good deals here but you have to pay attention and remember to add that 10% to the posted price. With that in mind, the prices of non sale items is comparable to Walmart usually within a few cents but when an item is on sale the price is worth going a little out of your way. Its kept pretty clean and the staff have good customer service skills.

I am only rating two stars because too many vagrants at this location, harassing customers and begging for money. They stand at outside at the only entry/exit or sit on the bench in the store. One even followed my husband around while he was shopping and asked him for money. The police and management do the best they can but the problem only gets wrose. A few days ago one threatened my husband when he told him that he couldnt give him money and then took a swing at my husband. It is not safe to shop there.
