Their wine guy comes up with the best pairings and suggestions.Everyone bends over backwards to ensure your trip there is memorable. They still carry you groceries to your car for you a rarity these days!Their steam table is one of the best in the County, bar none! Easily rivals MANY restaurant offerings!If you wasnt to see what grocery stores done right actually looks like, this is your stop!

Manger acted like I was going to steal at self check out . He watched me, like I was going to steal. I normally don’t shop here . But since I needed a few things only and mountain Brook jr high is so close, I thought I would grab a few things and pick my kids! I’ll never shop here anymore. Don’t judge a book by itsCover.

Clearly the hiring process here does not touch on guest interactions. I’ve only been here twice but both times I needed help from an employee and not only are they nowhere to be found but if you happen to find one, they are lacking in the basic social skills that retail requires. I was answered with grunts and pointed fingers rather than a simple “on aisle 3.” The second time I went in, the man bagging the groceries commanded me to move my purse out of my shopping cart with the grace of a croaking toad. I said thank you to the cashier and she stared at me and frowned. Just overall not a hit in my book.

Organization is a bit confusing. Everything is enclosed refrigeration for chilled food so I think they do a good job with that

Lunch here is great. All the food they serve, eat-ready, looked fresh. The meatloaf, greens and black eyes were very good. Cornbread needs revamped. Try the roll instead.

Pretty hard to beat the Pig. Friendly staff good selection of meat fish and wine. Small town feel rather than big box grocery.

With lots of fresh foods and a pretty good wine selection. Scott from Western is now over the wine so its only going to get better. Really like the meats and pretty good deli.

The Pig is where its at. Great store with great selections. Super convenient to pick up sundries and more. Fantastic butcher and superior meat options. Fresh seafood, too. You have to try the smoked salmon. You wont believe its from a neighborhood grocery.

I bought fried chicken from the store today and it was the best fried chicken ever! I was pleasantly surprised from a grocer. The people helping me in the deli were very friendly as well. The store is also exceptionally nice.

A favorite neighborhood market. Its clean and well-stocked and the employees are super nice and helpful. Their meat dept. is especially good and the butcher is excellent.

By far the nicest Piggly Wiggly Ive been to. Exactly what you would expect in Mountain Brook. It also had an impressive wine selection.

God I miss Western, but The Pig is good. At least its not Publix.

The staff behind the deli counter was cussing up a storm. Had my 8 year old with me. When they realized we were there, they did not alter their behavior at all. I expect better out of the Pig, very disappointing.

The store looks great. My only negitive is that when you opened I came every week to by Flax 4 Life muffins for less than $6.00 and now they are almost $9.00 a box. I could order them online for alot less but I love shopping locally. Also I noticed that your other stores dont carry the cranberry or carrot raisin. I would like to see them at the liberty park store. I also LOVE the cornbread dressing they serve in the deli... It reminds me of my Moms, whom I lost 7 years ago. Regards, cheryl byrne
