This store has a surprising selection for the size and. Honestly cannot imagine the community without it. They listen to the neighborhood and make good changes. It is freshly renovated and clean. Good selection and pleasant associates.Old:Initially liked this store, however I live in the community nearby and this store has an outside trash compactor that makes the neighborhood smell disgusting. They should take steps to clean up the trash sludge. The sludge also goes into storm drains when it rains.

Hey its best not to go in here after work especially if you got really dirty that day! They will put a tail on u like you about to shop lift & steal the store!

Today was my 1st visit there in years. The parking lot, store and employees were exceptional. Piggly Wiggly Clairmont is definitely my go to store from this day forth. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Seems like theyve finally delt with the panhandler problem. New renovations are great but theyre always out if stock of my favorite grocery items, stock is inconsistent. Also, the hot food deli does not run on the expected hours. Get there way early if you expect them to have any food left. Breakfast gone by as early as 9:00am, lunch can be gone by 1:30.

This is my second job but a Winn Dixie back then in high school I got out of school early at 1pm c.s.t. all my credits satisfied and my teammate of flag team worked there briefly also.I started first working at baskin robbins in 5pts west by my house growing up owned by a jewish family. He was a stickler on getting those scoops exactly 2.5 ounces for real! For hours I had to scoop and weigh scoop and weigh always saying how many scoops he should get out of 1 tub. If I cant do nothing else I can certainly make a 2.5 SCOOP OF ICE CREAM BLINDFOLDED I think. Lord! Would somebody rescue him shipwrecked at this counter. But he was so nice and I would go visit him at the new location off lakeshore drive when there were several movie theaters all replaced with other business.Turns out after high school at college in Auburn university Alabama I got a job at that baskin robbins and was the cake maker and decorator for customers. So funny had to make them from ice cream slabs cut from tub standing in a cooler at age 19 but then at age 43 in 2013 my job as laboratory technician duties was to put water samples for testing inside a walk-in cooler just as cold. Not the morgue I pushed patients working for the UAB hospital as patient escort or anything but felt close to dying when it ended except I was sitting on my sofa. Life keeps rolling on different all the time. I still love God. My made from scratch 2 chocolate cakes for grandmother and her other grandchild lamina born on the same day as she was and a tub of homemade vanilla ice cream on another day both got gobbled up. My mixer stopped while on the telephone with a friend so I had to finish mixing batter by hand. I do not want to go that far back in old school cooking if I help myself to some electrical magic. I do not need all those muscles right now. She will be 95 years old in just a few minutes and minminadue will be older too. I was born on her mothers birthday with the years 1907&1970 also and my mother shares a birthday with her older brothers daughter paula. She thinks the internet and microwaves are the devil but happy birthday Dear! I call her.

This is the most amazing grocery store I have ever been to. It is so organized and they have all of the product brands that you dont see ANYWHERE else...much leas a small town grocery. Be ready for eyeballs on you constantly by management and the police officer they have posted at the door. It must be because there are bottles of wine - accessible on the aisles that retailed at around $120 just glancing. I also got to see my first $6 chocolate bar. The first time I went, the short manager asked my friend when I went to wait in him in the car if I wanted to finish up and check out...as if I had taken something. I guess if I had their strategy would be to discuss shoplifting with other customers rather than prosecuting to the fullest extent of the law. He finished with, Well just look at the cameras next time. Newsflash...cameras RECORD activities to rewatch. Also, dude. I did a self-checkout in front of a female associate and chatted with her. Upper management, maybe this locations manager should be recovering the potato chips displays or something less complicated than telling baggers when to come assist. Other than that...was very impressed.

I love coming into this Piggly Wiggly. Ive never had a problem not finding what Im looking for. The staff is always professional and nice. I also see them helping others as well as each other. I enjoy the pleasant environment while I shop.

Best personal service, with a reasonable price tag on it for this area. My opinion you are getting the Publix experience an customer service. But with those house win price tag on it. Only deferens is they have all ready been doing it for the past 20 years. At the same location with no retention what do ever.

The first time I visited it was a friday around lunch. So this friday I went in just before 3pm. I was not greeted the cashier with he green and black dreadlocks actually was looking at me as if I had a blinking look here sign on my body. I spoke she didnt. I go to the wine section expecting the exceptional service I received on previous visit. Nope.I really did not know the type of wine the young man help me select but it was delicious so as Im looking the two ladies standing at the register continue to discuss their vacation at the beach and how she was in the jacuzzi, all the mean while I am walking around trying to find the wine.They didnt offer any service to anyone while I was there so I proceeded to get my other item and check out. I go to the register and a manager che is me out( skinny tall with medium brown colored hair in red and white checkerboard shirt).He didnt ask if I found everything. He scan my item said hello and told me my total.

Has the best and the freshest meats. People there are always very helpful.

Store stocked well,cashier Kristina was VERY RUDE,I spoke&she didnt speak back nor did she smile not one time,then instead of her handing me my receipt she put it in a bag!! The young guy bagging the groceries was RUDE as well,he got upset when I was telling him NOT to put FISH&BREAD in the same bag& I wanted him to double the bag that had my sodas in them, but instead he walked AWAY& I HAD TO DO IT MYSELF!!! That was my first time in the store& I will NEVER go back!!..

Recently expanded and looking good. Although United Healthcare reports Piggly Wiggly a chain that accepts their gift cards, this location is still not set up for it, and youll find yourself using alternative assets here for now if thats in your plans. Best to call any actual store first these folks were barely familiar with those credits. New trainee cashier was a bit snippy, but hell be aight. Customer service while youre surrounded by your trainers must be a daunting task. Clean store, everyone masked.

Been shopping at the Piggly Wiggly on Clairmont for 15 years now. It continues to get better. They carry locally grown produce in addition to the regular produce. They have a good beer and wine selection and the staff are always friendly. Love that they carry Owls Hollow lettuces along with other local favorites. They are in the process of significantly expanding their footprint.

There are snack items on the other side of the stroe from the snack isles. But! The clerk was extremely willing and happy to help me find the popcorn haha.

Sale prices in the aisles never match the registers price. Then you have to wait for the manager to come to the register. then they have to go find the item in the aisles, then come back to the register, then change the price. Too much of a hassle and the workers are rude. Never shop there again. Winn Dixie or Publix.

They have really great fruit, nice wine selection (havent bought any, but appreciate the display as Im walking to the back to get to the meat section.) Love the meat section and the fresh deli where you can pick up togo food and fresh baked goodies.

I work near this Piggly Wiggly so I stop in a lot. The service is meh, but the store itself is a joy to shop in now that theyve expanded. I wouldnt do a full on grocery shop here, but its a great stop for lunch or for those one or 2 items you forgot or picking up dinner on the way home. They have the best beer and wine selection in the area.

They carry Zatarains hot sauce and thats everything. One star docked because they dont carry French Market Chicory Coffee in a can.

The last thing this store manager wants is customers in his store. I arrive at 8:56 to buy orange juice.... doors are open and customers at the registers but as I walk in he waves his arms in the air “we are closed” he yells. “You don’t look closed”. Then he waves me out the door. Bet he could increase hos business by 25% if he and his assit manager tried a customer centric approach starting by making eye contact and speakin instead of a “just get by” duck your head mentality

This store was very clean. I visited this store for lunch. Heres where the problem lies. I arrived at lunch by 11:55 am, the food was dried out. And what food i was able to chose was extremely tasteless. I would never visit this store for lunch again.

It is an OK store and just kept clean. The shelves are fairly well stocked but are missing many things that I would have thought in that neighborhood would be quite commonplace.The produce department in the meat department should really step their game up quite a bit.

Im really hoping their current renovation takes them out of the dingy 70s/80s look and feel. That said, this Piggly Wiggly will generally carry your essentials, but if youre looking for something special or unique its best to check out their competitors.Also be careful with their produce. Ive returned home a few times to find my garlic old (green stems growing) and mold on onions. These things happen at all grocers, but seem to happen more here.
