Steel City Pops is the best! Very fun flavors and options for eating your popsicle. Today they didn’t have as many options and were out of a few flavors of soda for the pop floats, but I still enjoyed a blueberry cheesecake pop float! Perfect for the hot summer day (or really any day of the year at that). Staff are very friendly and the location is really fun with great modern yet simple decor. I highly recommend visiting Steel City Pops, it won’t disappoint!

We love this place but they open at 1pm on Saturdays which is sad. I enjoy walking and buying some ice cream for the kids but since they open at 1pm this is late. We live nearby and walk here and I saw many customers leave because it was closed. How about open at 12? 😃. Otherwise delicious and my kids love it

Delicious cold pops with some nice flavors. Be sure to ask for a sample if youre undecided. Strawberry Shortcake and Hibiscus were good. Looking forward to SCP perhaps trying some ambitious combinations like coconut-lime or Mexican hot chocolate.

Really good lime and vanilla bean flavors. Price is reasonable for a quality creamy popsicle.

The workers were very unprofessional. I am a African American woman and they didn’t speak at all after I spoke to them. They didn’t really want to help me. A couple of caucasians walked in and were greeted with open arms and professional. I don’t appreciate that.

Steel City Pops is one of the MUST DO places when we visit Birmingham! No other gourmet popsicle place can compare. You can taste the quality ingredients! Their dedication to creating small batches, using the best and freshest ingredients really shines through. I can honestly say Ive enjoyed every flavor Ive ever had, including Pine! You have to check out Christmas flavors! They rotate, so theres no telling if youll get wassail, gingerbread, eggnog, peppermint, Apple cinnamon, pomegranate, or any of the many other holiday flavors! Dont worry, theyll have many of the tried and true faves there as well, like buttermilk, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry lemonade, and many more. Theres something for everyone, as long as you like frozen sweet treats!

I took my sister to this location and it is very clean. Though I did not get an ice cream myself she could not quit talking about it. So I am assuming it was pretty good.

Love, love, love this place. Ive never had a bad one. But if you do theyll give you another one. Shared Strawberry Lemonade with my 7 yr old granddaughter tonight and we both agreed its a great summer flavor. 2 thumbs up!

Absolute must when looking for good desert or even something fun. Every time we have family or friends in town, we take them to Steel City Pops! Although small, it has a great atmosphere. There is not a lot of seating but still enjoyable. Customer service is good! If you don’t like the popsicle you got, you can exchange it for free!

The pineapple jalapeño, avocado, vanilla bean, and cookies and cream are just a few of my favorites! Fresh local ingredients; you can watch the pops being made in front of you on many occasions. Make sure you sign up for the membership club!

Delicious pops well worth their price. Get the freezer bag and take home a random seleciton of 12 and enjoy for the next couple weeks (or days, if youre like me and cannot get enough of their pops!). They knock it out of the park with both their cream based and their fruit/ice based pops. Ive never had one flavor that I didnt like, and have many that I fully love.

Organic Frozen pops that are tasty and of fair value. I cannot wait to go back. I would love for them to have a store in Atlanta. The Popsicle are made in small batches. The flavors are unique.

The inside of the shop looks so boring that if you werent reading and looking at the ice cream, you wouldnt know that it was a place to buy tasty treats. Workers were nice and the coffee popsicle I had was delicious though.

Delicious fresh gourmet popsicles that cost about $3. I love their chocolate, blueberry, coffee, and they have wonderful seasonal flavors too. This is a must visit spot for a sweet treat in the Birmingham area.

This place is a true gem! I have never been able to find good popsicles in Birmingham before but these really do the trick. My favorite is coconut but the guava is my go to when Im calorie counting. They have so many great flavors and are quite affordable at $3 each. It is nestled near the Carmike theater which makes it a great post movie snack.

This is the original location where the popcicles are actually made, there is also a location in the summit on 280. Steel City is the first place we take anyone new to Birmingham. We love all the fresh and unique flavors. Flavors change by the seasons and they offer a large enough variety to keep you coming back to try new things. I have tried almost all of their flavors at this point and my top picks for creamy are buttermilk (it tastes like cheesecake) and coffee. If you prefer to try fruity pops, the hibiscus is my favorite. Dont be afraid to try a flavor you may think sounds strange such as the maple bacon bourbon, if you dont like it tell them and they will give you a different flavor.

I probably eat more popsicles than most people, and these are excellent popsicles. I remembered them so fondly from the last time I was in Birmingham that I searched for it as soon as I got back. I have been there every night of this trip. Try the cucumber lime with a dusting of sea salt!

We LOVE Steel City Pops. Its our go-to during the summer months. The portable location across from Lee Branch is also very convenient for us! Oh and BTW, youve got to try the avacado popsicle!

Great pops. The Buttermilk Pop is my fav. Their Square can be a bit tempermental running your card so having cash just in case is a good idea.

The menu is always changing, so youre guaranteed to find something you like. The flavors are always delicious and never too sweet.

Coffee pop is great. Strawberry or peach cream are really good

I went expecting normal popsicles and to be underwhelmed. Got a creamy popsicle that was absolutely delicious and now I want to go back. Everything is available gluten free, even the cookie pops. Service is fast and prices are reasonable considering how good that popsicle was.

This place is absolutely amazing. I tend to travel often to Birmingham and this is my first stop after landing. The store itself is rather small but there are some chairs and tables located outside.This place makes home-made organic popsicles that you can die for. They recently began making cookie pops made of ice cream and either a brownie/cookie in the middle. You can get a cool freezer bag if you chose to take them home with you.Try the: mango habanero, avocado, cookie, papaya, pineapple habanero, COCONUT (my personal favorite), and the hibiscus.Honestly, you cannot go wrong. The price is a bit high for a popsicle but this is far from your ordinary popsicle and absolutely worth the price.I WILL ABSOLUTELY BE BACK!!!
