My friend and I stumbled across Domestique on an early morning coffee run. As two experienced coffee drinks (and a long time barista myself) we were thoroughly impressed. Probably the best cup of drip we’ve had in a long time! Also the latte was great. Highly recommend!! Shoutout to the barista with the sailboat shirt for some great coffee

I have become a morning regular here and my go-tos are always the batch coffee (they change the roasts to keep it interesting) and the occasional cappuccino. Its obvious the roaster cares about his product and is always friendly when I happen to see him. Good batch coffee and friendly chats with the staff keep me from skipping my DIY pourovers.

Really great place to hang and chill, really good coffee and friendly courteous staff! Kid friendly too with proper supervision. Vegan friendly options!

Meh. The mask thing bothers me, but not as much as the coffee. Ordered a cortado, got a latte. Par for the course at Starbucks, but Starbucks doesn’t have it on the menu. Yeah, I know it’s not a very popular drink, but it’s super simple and could be prepared by anyone with an espresso machine. I usually just order a double and an ounce of warm milk on the side, pour the milk in, and have a cortado, but I tend to trust people who put it on their menu not to dump a cup of milk into a shot and call it good. Whatevs. Shoulda gone to Gato.

Super interesting place. Board games galore, new and old, as well as old school classics of video games. Coffee is unique, golden milk latte was great, and the decor is so cool. Great trip down memory lane for us 90s babies!

They were wonderful, the atmosphere was very laid back and inviting. Would be a great place to grab a coffee and study or work on a paper (many people were). The employees were stellar, and the service was awesome! A friend of mine has a strange diet due to health reasons and she asked about the drinks and opted for water. After she paid he asked her what she was hoping and looking for concerning drinks so that they could better serve people later. I absolutely love that, and so did she because often she feels judged for things of that sort, or feels like a bother, so it meant a lot. We both got a ham and cheese croissant and had them warmed up, and I had an iced coffee. The bread was amazing and the coffee was where I didnt even need sugar or anything. The drink menu was full of options. But the food menu wasnt, (which I didnt mind because thats not the real goal of a coffee shop) however, we went for a early lunch so I dont know about later.If you dont know, they have board games and old video games lining the walls that you can challenge a friend to while you enjoy your coffee. It was really nice because it kept us engaged and off our phones. They had music playing that was just loud enough that it feels like unless you try, you are in your own space with your group or self and its really nice. I couldnt hear anyones video games or anything until I wanted to play myself.

The service here is wonderful, but it’s the atmosphere that will sweep you off your feet. You can tell the owners took a lot of time and care in selecting each piece of furniture or decor. It’s so trendy and hip you might mistakenly believe you’ve been transported to Portland or San Francisco.

Make time to visit and stay a while.

Incredibly thankful for this spot just down the road from our shop! Serving some of the best coffee in Birmingham! The owners behind Domestique Coffee have an incredible following and dedication to their craft and their customers. Dont know the current baristas name at the Satellite location, but our two minute interactions are always wonderful and a great start to the work day.

Love the coffee and the games!! I also like coming for the salsa dance parties and the concerts.Did you change your hours? I remember it being open later than the hours posted on Google.

Absolutely awesome place. Coffee and espresso are ok, but they have a great space with board games and video games of all sort. Fun place to come and hang out. Also turns into a cocktail bar after a certain time, which is a plus. I wish they didnt shut down the coffee once they turn into a cocktail bar though.

Not a great bar, but has fantastic coffee and is owned and run by great people. Fun atmosphere, cool decorations, and generally very food (though the donuts arent everything they could be and have been in the past)
