Had my 15000 mile service scheduled for 730 am. Got there went right in was greeted very pleasantly told them I would be waiting he told me no problem. They have a nice waiting area and before I knew it my car was ready. Overall great experience.
Very hard working and dedicated team. The vehicle I wanted was sold, just minutes before my arrival. They worked with other dealers to find an alternate, and they were successful. To have that kind of reputation when vehicle supplies are tight, was an indication of how well they operate this auto group. Will consider them again on my next purchase.
I needed tires, brakes, an oil change and 90,000 mile service. I did not expect them to get done in one day but they did. Tameron Hyundai did a great job. There was an issue with pricing but in the end I am a happy customer.

Do not trust the price you see online or the quoted internet sales price they email you. When you get there it will be several thousand dollars more (mine was over $7,000) than quoted due to already installed, high mark up items from the dealership that are not included in the quoted price. I got an emailed quote of $29,080 and when I got there, the next morning, the price with additional added stuff was over $36,000. Do not buy here, worst Hyundai dealership I have ever been to.
The service I received was truly exceptional. I was dropping my car off early on Saturday for a Monday appointment. My car was showing symptoms at the time of drop off. Two hours later, I received a text that my car was fixed, covered by warranty and I could come pick it up. Never did I think they would go ahead and service my vehicle, but Im glad they did! Awesome customer service.

So this is my second experience with tameron Hyundai. Each time has been very pleasurable. Great customer service. Efficient. Not a long wait time. No hassle. Excellent service. The service advisor Mitchell was professional from the moment I drove in. He greeted me and after I explained I was there for a recall/issue he went ahead and advised me of how long the service would take. He even checked the system to see if I had a plan to cover my oil change at my current mileage and advise me to come back within a certain mileage range. I didn’t even know my plan had these stipulations. I decided to wait for my car and it turned out that the recall service was even quicker than he advised it would be. I’ve been to other Hyundai service stations in AL and NJ and by far Mitchell and Tameron Hyundai are the best.

I have two Hyundais that have been serviced by Tameron and both times they have been returned to me in worse condition that which I gave them to it in. The most recent repair involved a fuel pump and battery. I denied have them replace my fuel pump, but still had them complete the alignment, battery replacement, and break-line flush... Upon the receipt of my vehicle, the power locks and lights in my vehicle were still not operating, indicating the battery was never replaced.Also, despite having my car serviced, the vehicle did not receive the complimentary cleaning that I have observed other cars received. It is just clearly a different experience for individuals of color, at Tameron Hyundai. Each experience has become increasingly more expensive with less return on value.
Citron and David made the anxiety of buying a car essentially non-existent. We had a wonderful experience and will use them again, in the future. Highly recommend!
I drove a 2020 sonata and then asked Salesman for price details but he refused to give me the price unless I commit to buying the car. Very disappointing. I bought the same car from another dealer
Never again. I came in to test drive a car they had that was the only one around that was similar to the one I wanted, with the intention of having them order what I wanted if I liked it. I was very clear about that from the beginning. The person wed originally made our appointment with was too busy to meet with us, the two different salesmen we were bounced to spent a combined 20 minutes just looking for the car they had said theyd have pulled around when we got there. They spent most of the time trying to convince me to settle for the one they had, which was the wrong color (not a huge deal) and a Limited where I was looking for an Ultimate and didnt have any of the specific features Id picked the Ultimate for (a bigger deal). When they finally agreed that they could order the car I wanted, they tried to convince me to buy it faster, claiming that in the few weeks I was planning to wait until some new payoffs reported on my credit, qualifying me for a 0% interest rate, my trade would decline in value and that I didnt want a 0% interest rate anyway. They kept me another 20 minutes after I said I needed to leave for an appointment, and even had the sales manager come out asking us, Why do you hate my car, to try to convince us to buy the wrong one again. They didnt even pretend to care if I got the car I wanted (even though Id have been spending more money), they just wanted me to buy whatever they could push off on me right that second. Overall, a terrible experience, and I felt more like a hostage negotiating for my release than a customer.After it was all said and done, I bought somewhere else, got exactly the car I wanted, in exactly the time frame I wanted. And despite the salesmans threats that my trade wouldnt be worth what I wanted to get for it if I waited a few weeks, I got $3000 more for it than Id asked Tameron for.
Lawrence and David absolutely outdid themselves. They understood my circumstances and worked with me to get me back on the road. They spoke to me as a person, not just a quota to fill and stayed late in order to accommodate me. 10/10 wonderful service, definitely worth checking out, theyll treat you well. Thanks guys!

I have always HAD good service and the service manager that I feel with always tell me the tenth about my car.
Went in for a routine scheduled maintenance visit, oil change and fuel additive. Received a text after waiting for over an hour that upon inspection several other services required immediate attention. My car has 24,000 miles on it. They said I needed new tires but my last service at 19,000 miles in Nashville, prior to moving to Birmingham, I was told they were at approximately 50% of Treadwell. They said I needed a new air filter but I had replaced the current one less than a month ago. They said I needed an alignment which was done at the last service in Nashville. Best of all, they claimed I needed to replace the cabin air filter. The Nashville dealer had replaced it for free due to not properly aligning my steering wheel after the aforementioned alignment. That was done around 20,000 miles. This place is a rip-off. I have always had regular service done at the dealer to preserve my warranty but unless I can find an honest dealer nearby in Birmingham, that ended with my last visit.
My sales woman, Chris was amazing!!! She walked me through my SUV when I inquired about the vehicle through FaceTime. When I arrived at the dealership, she had a pleasing personality and very informative of my vehicle.
Mitchell made my experience AWESOME. He went above and beyond helping me find out about the warranty on my car and saved me several hundred dollars and I was able to go ahead and have my window fixed. THAT is good customer service!
Worse car dealership ever makes promises it can not keep and when you call them on it a manager curses you out like it is you fault. Clear hates anyone coming with a carvana car dont shop there at least until they get new managers
They say you’ll love the way your treated. Well they may not be mean or hateful, but they sure don’t mind making you wait and not following through with what they say. I have called and left messages for both sales and service center with no return call. I found out that I could have gotten my same car elsewhere for thousands less and I thought they cared about their customers. Other than maintenance, that will take hours, I will not use Tameron Hyundai again.
Did an extended warranty fix on my brake light stopper pad. Happy with the service especially since my local dealer couldnt schedule me for 3 months.
Citron Choice and Christina Jowers are outstanding salespeople. Even though Ive never been to Alabama. Mr. Choice worked with me to make sure that what I wanted he was able to deliver and Christina helped me learn all the new features and closed the deal. They made sure that I did not travel for 4 hours for nothing. This was an OUTSTANDING experience, the best I ever had purchasing a vehicle. Im extremely satisfied thanks to them, excellent service.

This is the best dealership I have dealt with. I have dealt with Honda, Ford, and a few others over the years. This dealership was the easiest to work with and the negotiate with. Their service department is great. Nice place to wait if you prefer. Our salesman worked especially hard to get us what we wanted at the price we needed. And we love our Sante Fe more than any vehicle we have owned, and thats quite a few over our roughly 45 years of owning vehicles. I am a tough negotiator and they made it easy when I told them what I needed.

I have far too many complaints to list here, but the biggest is placing multiple requests to speak to a manager and not once getting through or receiving a returned call. Im starting to think Joe doesnt even exist. Their tag line is where youll love the way youre treated is too hilarious. While Citron is an amazing salesperson, Ill be taking my future business elsewhere.Bottom line: theyre all too eager to sell you a car and not a bit eager to service it.

Tameron Hyundai ordered a Throttle Body(ETC Actuator), which was shipped overnight, for my Genesis sedan. I replaced the part myself which is working great! My car drives much better! I would like to say Thank You to the Parts Guy for ordering my ETC and the Service Crew for diagnosing my car!

Called Tameron Hyundai and spoke with Nicole as receptionist. This car is my 76 year old mother’s. The engine light came on and was flashing and the car lost power resulting in us having to get a rental over the 4th holiday. When I called I explained the situation this morning to a service rep I reached Nicole. Ater explaining, Nicole tells me that no one would look at it until Friday. She then told me I could take it anywhere else if I needed it handled sooner. When I called back I asked for managers name and she told me his name was matt but she would not give me his extension. The car is less that 3 years old. Incredibly poor customer service and this is not the first time I’ve had this sort of issue. We know where not to buy next time.

We were very concerned when our Santa Fe engine started acting up. The service department it a great job to communicate with us and even provided us a loaner vehicle. Great job Tameron Hyundai.
I had an appointment for 15k mile maintenance and service. Oil and filter change. Interior air filter, tire rotation and general check up. In and out in under an hour. All covered by the Hyundai complimentary maintenance plan. Used their wifi for training for work. Video never buffered. They even provided Chick-fil-A chicken biscuits for breakfast.
My partner and I purchased 2 Genesis G70s in 2020 and have had nothing but problems with the cars. Door handles falling off, trim fading away, completely different color wheels on one vehicle, radio stopped working, air conditioner stops working, and the list goes on. The service department is far below exceptional as we were accused many times of being the cause of these problems. I live an hour away and was called to bring my car in for repair on many occasions only to arrive with the parts not even here, or parts here but they “weren’t allowed to put them on”. Our salesman, Mark, was the only one who seemed to care and got us help, but the rest of the place is terrible. We will never use this dealership again due to the total lack of responsibility from their service department and manager. Don’t worry about making appointments for service either as apparently they overbook appointments and a 30 minute oil change is turning into a 3 hour wait today.
Personnel were courteous and professional as always. Mike has assisted me on other occasions and I was always treated with respect, advised of any and all information required and he always tries to get me in and out of the facility as quickly as possible. Service and personnel has always and continues to be exceptional.
As Shady as Serra. They agreed to numbers and had us drive in multiple times. but when it finally gets down to going to the finance office the numbers change and they will not meet their original commitment. We wasted so much time at this dealership and they are absolutely the shadiest dealership weve worked with in the Birmingham area. Theyre all about profit and not about their commitment. Spoke with a gentleman about test driving the car of choice. I asked if he could come to me for the test drive. It seemed to be an issue for him to bring it to me because he would have been away from the dealership for two hours. I arranged my own time with them after work and had spoke with him prior to leaving my work . He was expecting me to be there by 4:30 and I was. When I got there I was informed they had just sold the car. I drove an hour and a half and wasted my time with these crooks. I would not recommend.
Hyundai manufactured vehicles during the years 2006-2016 that have given the owners terrible problems with paint. If this has happened to you, please research online and on different social media platforms. Hyundai needs to recall the vehicles affected, and repaint; or at the very least, repaint as customers report the damages incurred due to their faulty paint and/or procedure.I will note that the staff was helpful and courteous at Tameron Hyundai. I sincerely hope that Hyundai National will act accordingly. My request has been made for them to address the paint issues with my vehicle.
A service manager came to my car window as soon as I drove into the service bay. He looked up my file, escorted me to a customer lounge area where there was water, coffee, and food. He checked in with me after about 30 minutes to let me know how my service was progressing and came back a little later to escort me to my car. He explained all paperwork. It was a very painless experience.
We arrived about 10 minutes early. We were taken right in. Matt introduced himself and explained what he would be looking for n this recall. He even took the time to show my husband what he was looking for. We went to the showroom area to wait as waiting room was full. Matt sent a message to my phone telling me his name and number and to call if we had any questions. We badly waited 15 to 20 minutes before we were paged to tell us our Santa Fe was ready. A very pleasant experience.That Genesis is some fine car. I won’t be able to afford it, but IF I did fall into a bucket of money...

I have had maybe 2 other decent experiences at this location. This guy has been with the company for 20 years and I see why, he does a great job. I didn’t get his name but he was helpful. Thank you!

Matt in the service department was great! No bs, respectful, and professional. My engine had to be replaced. It took them about 3 days to get final warranty approval from Hyundia and then 2 weeks to get the engine in and installed. They gave me a 2021 rental and the young lady that helped me with my rental was very nice and professional. Definitely a return customer.

I recently visited for my first scheduled maintenance. The service department did not notify me that they had disabled my automatic lights. This cause me to have the unpleasant experience of being pulled over by the police. I am glad that they pulled me over though, because leaving the lights off with out telling me could have cause a serious wreck!!!Since this post Hyundai reached out to me to address the issue with their team. I am happy that this should not happen again to any other clients.

I was pleased with the salesman but ensure you get the warranty included in the price. Otherwise you can expect to spend an additional $2K and wont find out about it until you go to finance the vehicle. When the sales manager comes back with the price and says out the door!!! He or She is not including the warranty. You will be told this out the door price is only for the vehicle not the warranty. When you email the sales manager for the store managers email and phone you wont get a reply. Lease to say this will be the last time we buy a vehicle from Tameron.

Originally went to Tameron Hyundai looking for a used car. We met Antoine Gray who was so helpful to us that when we decided to buy a brand new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Ultimate 2.0 we called upon him. He is NOT pushy or aggressive which would have instantly turned us off. Instead he kept in touch either calling or texting us just checking in to see if there was anything we needed. He went out of his way to get us exactly the car we wanted. When we picked up car both he and Christina did an excellent job of explaining all the features so we were comfortable driving it off the lot. I had previously reached out to 6 different dealerships before deciding Tameron. Save yourself some time and just go to Tameron and ask for Antoine. I promise you will not be sorry. (We got the scarlet red one)

Thanks to the people at Tameron Hyundai for providing excellent service. My service advisor Randall, helped me to get my Sonata up-to-date with all required services, and all services were completed in one day! Tamerons shuttle service picked me up within 5 minutes of my arrival and drove me to work in a 2016 Honda Odyssey with leather. I was glad the Service Department stayed open until 6 pm, allowing me to work my regular 8 to 5 workday before picking up my Sonata.
Arrived at the dealership a little after 10:00. Appt had been scheduled, but we hadnt been given a name to ask for when we got there.Our salesman greeted us as we were getting out of our old car and did ask if we were there to see anyone in particular.Introductions were made, we headed back to his desk to discuss what we were looking for and it was agreed that the Elantra sounded like the right car for us.There was some confusion on the vehicle color, apparently Gray and Silver are very similar and we were definitely looking for a dark gray. We test drove a black Elantra, we got back to the dealership and started discussing features that we were looking for that the black one simply didnt have. There were several gray Elantras on the lot and we found one with all of the features we were looking for and then someWe discussed pricing, which was surprisingly straight forward. The only issue I had was with the offer for my trade and that was quickly corrected.All in all I would recommend Tameron Hyundai to anyone who is in the market for a new car with an EXCEPTIONAL 20 year 200,000 mile warranty.

Picked up my vehicle after being serviced to have grease all over my steering wheel and door handle. Contacted them about it and was told an On Site manager would contact me and no one has. I have been to other Hyundai dealerships and have never received my vehicle back with grease on it.
Bay doors opened at 7:30, my car was immediately taken in. Comfortable waiting room, automobile was ready in appx 1 hour. Service personnel explained what was done to my vehicle and when my next regular appt needed to me made. Then he walked me to my car.

It has been a few years since we have bought a new vehicle, and this experience went so well, that is erased any past bad experiences we might have had. First of all, in this time of Covid, I was a bit apprehensive about doing test drives or talking with a sales representative, but I was pleased to see that all sales staff wore masks at all times. There were also hand sanitizer at every desk, and plexi glass partitions. The extra precautions did not go unnoticed.Although I had done my research on the 2021 Santa Fe, our sales representative Citron Choice went above and beyond anything I could have learned by watching a YouTube video. He answered every question I had about the car, and pointed out the numerous features with enthusiasm. I never once felt patronized, and we connected immediately, even though he had been working almost exclusively with my husband.The buying process itself from start to finish, took two hours, but not a moment was wasted. We left the dealership believing every staff member there cared that we were satisfied with our purchase. This is a dealership I will recommend to anyone without reservation.
Had a pleasant experience with Tameron Hyundai!! My salesman, Alphonso was great!! His manager Bobbie was very helpful and patient. David and Shawn in the finance department were very helpful and gracious too!!! They dispelled all my reservations about car salesmen!!! Great place to buy a car!!
Michael in Tameron Hyundais Service Department...AWESOME. I had a lot of work done...but it was worth it. I was on a tight schedule but they did it and I was able to make it to my 4 oclock doctors appointment on time. I called the Hyundai company in my city and it would take 2 weeks before they could see me. I called Tameron Wednesday (1/27/21) evening at 4:30pm and they gave me a 1pm time slot for the next. I got there at 12:55pm and they were ready for me...I would hate to have to drive 80 miles just to be serviced...but I WILL...LOL! Thanks again Mike and Tameron Hyundai. BTW, they didnt even pressure me about purchasing a new vehicle...OMG that 2021 Hyundai Genesis I sat next to for a tap over 2 hrs (I said I had a lot of work done)....WHEW! I probably would have traded my 2018 Santa Fe in on the spot...naaaaaah Im good for now...LOL!
