Although he’s a pretty shy guy, & I hate to put him on blast, but Tom here is a GENIUS at restoring photos. Unfortunately, my late mother wasn’t the greatest at properly storing photos and a lot of them have gotten ruined over the years due to neglect. But Tom here brought some pictures I’ve inherited of my late mother/relatives from before my birth and some 80 years ago, back to LIFE. The customer service is outstanding and they are very concerned and Tom is detailed oriented & talented. I would Give this place 100/100 stars if I could.

Well I called asking about Provia film, if they had it in stock. Said yes. So went from Dearborn to Woodward Camera. Picked up a few other items. when I asked about the film they did not have any. Bummed out. Owner was there and he did take care of me on all of my purchases so I was treated fair. Is a long haul but would go back again if I need camera items.

I had to take my 8 year old camera in yesterday, pics were coming out fuzzy and spotty, the gentleman cleaned the sensors, was told I could pick it up the next day, received a call a few hours later and it was ready, I will recommend this place to any and everyone, they didn’t try to sell me a new camera, was told he has worked on cameras older than mine and when I asked him how often I should have it clean, was told when I start having problems, I will always patronize a place with such class and integrity, my camera is good as new now, didn’t get his name but I have a feeling all the employees are like him😊( was also shown before and after pics of the buildup)

Woodward Camera restored a 120 year old photo for me, and it turned out better than expected. They have fantastic restoration capabilities and I will recommend them to all family and friends.

Brought my two rolls of film into the store, they were able to process then within a few days. The price averaged out to about $13/roll which is pretty common for the areas around here. The only hiccup I had was that the CD they gave me was blank, when it was supposed to contain my photos. I emailed them and got no response for 2+ days (still havent). Luckily Janet, on the phone was happy to help and Dropbox them to me. Thank you!

Awesome experience. My gear was stolen at the airport and I needed a replacement body and lens quickly. They were willing to break up a kit so I can have the body I want and the lens I want. Thank you guys!

Ruben graciously took the time to work with me and help me find a nice starter camera . He answered all of my questions and showed me some basic tips on the camera before he even had an idea that I was going to purchase it . Not satisfied with the way my negatives came came back, it looks like they were over processed and not loaded correctly before the process of developing begin. I’m not sure who processes the film but it would be nice if they were developed with a little more care. Some of my photos came out perfectly fine and the others were smudge with lines and can barely see the image and i know for a fact it came from the process

I drive 50 miles to get to this store. The owner is so sweet and the sales help are amazing. They will explain everything to you in detail so you leave happy. The have everything you need whether you are a casual shooter or a pro. The also have a great photo lab for all your needs.

Order pictures early in the morning, received the confirmation that it was ready to be picked up. Just to find out that they never printed it their printer is down and they did not inform me. As a photographer I run a business as well, this is terrible and unprofessional. Its a reason why I pick them instead of a CVS or a Meijer

Not many small camera stores around today. But this place is definitely a great place to get your camera equipment. They have a good selection of equipment a very knowledgeable staff. That is very friendly and professional. I have gotten a bunch of my stuff from them, and if they dont have it they will.order it if they can. I sold some old camera equipment, they gave a fair price ( I would have liked more ) my 35 mm an 120 mm gear was no use to me. Very friendly an explained the transaction to me. Will be back to buy new stuff

Ordered Lumix FX80 (great super zoom that shoots RAW)This business was great to work with. I have never worked with them before and I dont know anyone there. But, I knew which camera I wanted. I called them directly instead of just ordering online because that particular camera had not been available anywhere else. They, however, did have it. The agent I spoke with was cordial and helpful, and they got the order out quickly, as they said they would. It arrived in perfect shape and well packed and padded. Really nice to have a neighborhood camera shop. Maybe not as big an inventory as the mail order companies, but great to have a local connection, feel the cameras, try out the lenses, and walk away with confidence you purchased the right item.

Very happy with our experience of getting our disposable cameras developed at Woodward Camera. Photos turned out great - the photos seemed brighter/clearer, and we got all the images back, which hasn’t been the case at “one hour photo” spots we’ve gone to in the past. Plus they even scanned them in digitally for us too!

One of my favorite places to go for camera related stuff. There aren’t many in this area of Michigan but Woodward Camera is always somewhere I’ll go when it comes to my camera needs, especially for film. You can get your film developed here for a reasonable price and have them send it to you through email, Dropbox etc... and they let you keep your negatives which is a huge plus! The employees Ive met are all very kind and willing to help in any way they can. Awesome store!

Woodward Camera has long been known as the go-to spot in the area if you are a serious camera buff. You see evidence of this any time you go in as knowledgeable sales staff work with customers for extended amounts of time. I am, however, not a serious camera person. However, I go in regularly for assistance with very basic issues (printing out photos from my phone, etc.) I am usually helped by the women at the from desk who are unfailingly patient and professional. Regardless of your level of expertise, I highly recommend Woodward Camera - for resolving technical issues, purchasing camera equipment, or simply asking for level-one hand-holding.

Woodward Camera gave me outstanding service. They are my new favorite camera store. I was interested in purchasing the new-but-difficult to find Nikon 500 PF lens and called the store to inquire. Reuben took my call and told me he would try to get the lens for me, but that it might take a month. Sure enough, after about a month Reuben returned my call to tell me he had the lens for me. Woodward Camera has always been super-responsive to my needs. Their customer service is friendly, the turnaround is timely, and the quality is excellent. For example, they did a great job on a recent task I gave them, which involved scanning hundreds of historical family photos and converting them to digital files. Very happy with their work!

I went to Woodward Camera for the first time to transfer photos from my phone to print. First let me tell you that they were very helpful & second the prints came out much clearer than the ones I have printed at the local drug store. So I will definitely be returning for more prints.

I ordered a lens and got the automatic order confirmation email. Waited 2 days, still never received a single email from them. Reached out and never heard back. Looked at my bank and noticed they refunded me. They never said why or even let me know and if I didn’t check my bank I would have never known my item wasn’t coming. Terrible first time experience and last. Didn’t honor price and relisted lens for more after. Found them from Sigmas website as an authorized dealer. I’ll stick to eBay and Amazon. I tried to help small business but they failed miserably.

I was a diehard woodward camera customer. I went there every time I needed film developed. but then I discovered that theres a company that does it for much cheaper and same day. they also offer discounts for students- and I can have my film emailed to me within hours- for no extra cost. will only go to woodward if I have to now.

They are knowledgeable and courteous. They have a very large inventory of cameras and supplies. They have great prices on albums, cameras, albums and film. One of the few places that developes film and the service is fast. Woodward Camera also does great photo shopping of your print. They can adjust your dark print to within reason. I used to do wedding photography and they did my commercial developing and printing. Enlargements were always great.

Needed a few copies of some old family photos and the folks at Woodward Camera were great in assisting me with getting them made. Easy process and quick. Highly recommend going to Woodward Camera when you need help with old photos.

I recently had invitations and some custom phot work done at Woodward Camera. I price checked them online, and found they were competitive, but the expert help they provided made the final product much better than if I had tried to do it myself. Good people, creative help. Great experience!

We have used Woodward Camera for years. They do excellent work, and are very knowledgable. Orders are filled promptly and accurately. The service is excellent. The last time I was there, an employee spent a great deal of time helping me find the right .25 folder.

After unsuccessful results at other photo shops, I went to Woodward Camera in desperate need of digital passport photos that would satisfy the unique requirements of New Zealand Tourist Visa Applications, and I could not have been happier with the time work product Woodward turned out. They researched the requirements, produced compliant photos, and delivered the end product in time for us to complete our Visa applications. The photos sufficed, we got the Visas, and I could not be a happier camper. This photo store knows its business.
