Had one good experience working with manager here so came back. Experience #2 not so good. Mismeasured cabinets. Not so great installation. Countertop guys dripped glue on my floor and didnt caulk well. Overcharged for countertops and still waiting for more than 2 months for refund.

We worked with Mitch at Cabinets to Go to completely replace our kitchen cabinets last fall. We paid for professional installation of the cabinets, and also purchased granite and flooring from them. We laid the flooring ourselves. The cabinets were installed in half a day! There were issues with the granite and the installer, but CTG made sure the lackluster stone we received was replaced with superior quality materials, and installed by a much better company. CTG went above and beyond to ensure we were 100% satisfied with our completed work. We recently decided to replace the flooring in a basement office space, and went straight to CTG for their excellent waterproof flooring. Josh helped with the order but Mitch was able to jump in and help resolve confusion over the delivery. I would recommend this location (and Mitch) to any friends or family looking to replace cabinets, granite, or flooring.

It was a total disaster. I was having my Moms kitchen remodeled. Went to Cabinets to go because of the discount and it was a good deal for the cabinet,Countertops and the floor was all to be done with them. They said they can have everything done after the cabinets arrive in 2 week, but its been over a month and its still not done. The cabinets was damage, some of them. The installation was not coordinated at all. I had to do most of it myself. The countertops installer did not know what the heck they were doing it took them 3 time to get the countertops in and they still trying to get a section in. All the measurements was wrong and everybody blame everybody nobody try to fix the problem, it was left for me to do everything with these people and all of them lie. And you have to call customer care yourself for any problems and open up a ticket. This was a fulltime job for me and I have a fulltime job. This is the first and last time going to this place.UPDATE.... The countertops are finally installed!!! The countertops company came at 4:20 yesterday and I stayed there until they left at 7:35PM. Now guess what happen there was a second truck that brought the countertops and forgot to bring the backsplash, so we had to wait until the next morning for them to install. .. This was just BAD.

Mitch at the Crestwood location in Birmingham Al was the best. I stopped by for an idea and ended with a full kitchen. It turned out to be a great process. Even when an item was not included, and a piece of molding had an irregularity. He was able to get the parts replaced on the next truck shipment. Which turned out to be on Monday. Just as the shipment for the cabinets had to be on a Monday. Mitch could not have presented the company any better than he did. Throughout the entire experience the only problem came. When the hinge for the corner cabinet was not included in the hardware package. I called Mitch, but that had to go to another department. It took them all of Jan. to get the hinges. I finished my install Feb 3 2020. I am very pleased with the overall process. If I need cabinets again I will be calling Cabinets To Go.

We drove 45 miles round trip after calling the store to be absolutely sure they could help us with adding additional custom cabints to our kitchen. The salesman didnt offer his name and made it seem as if he was completely disinterested. He finally offered to email someone in Georgia and said he would be in touch with an estimate in a few hours or the next day. It is now 3 days later and he has not called or returned calls. We will continue to look for other resources to remodel our kitchen.

If I could rate this place less than a one star, I definitely would. Upon completion of my order the salesman gave me a date to pick up my kitchen cabinets. I took off from work on the designated date to take possession of my order only to learn the order had been delayed. I was not notified of this mishap by my salesman. When I finally got possession of the cabinets I learned that all of the cabinets were not in my order. After wrestling back and forth with customer service, I finally got the replacement cabinets shipped. After weeks of waiting on the replacement cabinets, I contacted customer service for a follow up. They advised me that the cabinets had been sent to the Birmingham store weeks prior. I arrived at the store and took possession of the cabinets only to discover they were damaged. By then my project was way behind and my patients were thin. At this point I went out and hired a cabinet maker to build the remaining cabinets I needed for the rest of my project. He was able to build the cabinets exactly like the ones I had ordered. He was also able to fix the damaged cabinets as well. Cabinets to Go in Birmingham Alabama will never get anymore of my business nor would I recommend them to anyone. Customer service was over the phone was not that great. My advice is to anyone is hire a custom cabinet builder. After time and installation, the quality and price point is better.

I had a great experience with Cabinets To Go! The staff was really professional and helped a great deal with the design of my kitchen. Everything was done in a timely matter and any questions I had were answered. The cabinets themselves were amazing. The quality was excellent and the price was right within my budget. Overall 5 stars for Cabinets to Go!

Our contractor suggested Cabinets-to-Go for the best value for the money. With help from Steve we found exactly what we wanted along with the counter tops and drawer handles. There was a nice showroom with plenty to choose from and ample parking.

Employees cant be bothered. You must constantly follow up for any information on your order. They dont communicate. Product arrived damaged causing further delays. Product was also not the right size as drawn in the sketches. Just poor all around. Would NOT recommend. Spend the few extra dollars and go somewhere else.

We love the look and quality of the cabinets. Great compliment to our full home renovation project! We dealt with the previous stores employees, Josh and Jordan, who provided excellent customer service.

Beware of HUGE delays. I received my original order in 2 weeks or so, which was fine. However, a few pieces were mixed up. I called to get it straightened out. That was 2 months ago. Im still waiting on 5 items so that I can complete my install. How is this remotely acceptable? All I get is excuses about shipping from DC, clearing customs at port, etc. Get your act together if you hope to stay in business.***Update: I give these guys some credit. When my extra parts finally came in, they gave me the pieces I added to my order for no charge due to the long delay. One of the skins was incorrect, though, so I am still waiting for that piece.

My experience with the birmingham store was awful! Steve acted as he didnt want to be bothered. He rushed me out the store each time I came in. At one point I had to work with another guy and he was just as rude as Steve. Steve made a design and moved forward without my say so. Weve be without a kitchen for 7 months so out of desperation I didnt put up a fuss. Needless to say once the cabinets was installed I didnt approve. After calling Steve about the design once again he showed no concern. Lesson learned! But in all the installers were great and the cabinets are nice the design is just horrible.

This project will be the third time I have renovated a kitchen. All the old cabinets and appliances OUT, all the new stuff in including appliances. I have never used Cabinets To Go. In the past I have used Home Depot.Overview: My wife designed the kitchen on graph paper to scale. This took her several weeks of redoing. This allows a creative process of knowing what you want prior to attempting to do this kitchen project. The People Matter: The manager of this store is Mr. Steve Colon. I met with Steve alone with my wifes drawing. He instantly went to his computer and did a CAD drawing of the plan. This also allowed him to do a 3-D drawing. Steve dealt with my family on three separate occasions for changes one prior to the order and one after the order was placed and paid for. Steve called the installer and counter-top folks whom were as professional as he was. These cabinets dont sell themselves, they need people to represent them.Quality of the Cabinets: In my humble opinion, taking into account the two previous kitchen jobs I have done (With Home Depot). The quality is very good. The price point is below almost anybody else. Here is how they do it. The cabinets are pre-made and inventoried in warehouses. Instead of custom designing all the cabinets and waiting three months to get them. The computer program simply uses the stock. This means, every color or style in the rainbow are NOT available. We had several style options, three color options and many stone top options. HOWEVER, if you want a special color, go to a custom cabinet shop and pay over 100% more. I know, I checked.Delivery: I choose the delivery option. It took 8-Days. No misprint, 8-Days. The delivery guys (two) were awesome. From truck to my living room in under an hour. Professional the whole way.Installer: Setup and paid for with Cabinets to Go. The installer Joe Mascetti was one of the best vendor communicators I have ever met. I sent him pictures of the old unit, the plumbing and the electrical. He gave me exactly what to tell the plumber. His company will take out the old cabinets, put in the new cabinets in one day with a crew of 4-5. What is remarkable is from the time I get the cabinets delivered, to have them being installed is less then a week.Counter-Top Folks: This is always the issue. Not this time. Two days after the cabinets are installed, the stone counter top folks will measure the and template the quartz. All they needed was the brand and model number of the sink and facet (Purchased from Ferguson).Anyone reading this review would have to ask, what is this reviewer getting from this positive review. Not a thing. All I wanted was what was promised. I have to say one more thing. It was crystal clear from the time I gave Cabinets to Go my American Express that there was NO refunds. PERIOD, none. You pay in full up front for everything. SO, come in with a plan, measurements and be flexible on style and color. That is the key to this company. I hope my outline was helpful.

The worst experience i have ever had. I have been in their five times getting pricing and drawing and not one person told me that they were knock down cabinets. They were only a few hundred dollars cheaper than Lowes, and you dont have to put Lowes cabinets together. The employees also have attitudes. It also took 3 weeks so i called to see if my cabinets were in, i ordered 7, they told me that four were in, so i went their to pick them up, but when i got their they only had two, then they found a third and told me the rest was on back order and would be about another two weeks. Then the next day someone called me and told me the back order was going to take 5 more weeks. I asked for a refund, that was totally unacceptable, and not how you do business, and i would not recommend cabinets to go to anyone.
