We had a great experience. I feel the baseline starts with awesome chips and salsa. Check. Fresh warm chips and the perfect heat and consistancy on the salsa. The margaritas were tasty, big and a good value. The value also goes for the food. Our meal was seasoned well, flavorful and abundant. The server didnt miss a beat or request. Highly recommend. The singing in the kitchen made it even better.

My husband and I treat ourselves here about once a month. Always delicious and authenthic dishes...just so good! The service is very friendly and everything is so clean and fresh. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is a must try! We love it!

The singing in the kitchen makes the eating experience so much more authentic. I enjoyed the service it was phenomenal. The food is so good. Who ever the person was that hated the singing isn’t invited to the cookout and shouldn’t be invited over for Christmas.

The food is good as always and it keeps us coming back. They are allowing dine in but limited tables, weve been getting ours to go since the first shutdown. The consistency of the dishes every time is great.

I rarely buy there, but it really is very annoying that whenever I have been the guys who are in the butchery area are singing very loud and horrible usually when I go to a food store I do not expect to find that kind of situation .I find it pathetic and unpleasant.

Small restaurant with both authentic and Tex Mex dishes. Theres also a store connected to it with authentic Mexican merchandise and groceries. Never shopped at the store but its always busy. And, I cant offer much of a review since the Tortas and authentic street-style tacos are what I always order. But theyve never failed me any time that Ive been. The only drawback is that there are usually only maybe two or three people working inside which makes things move a little bit slowly. But you can call your order in ahead of time which kind of helps with the wait.

Food and service was great! My only complaint was my youngest son ordered chicken fingers and he only got two and some fries with his order and he wasnt happy with that. (Hes 13 and can eat more) FYI he doesnt eat fries. Other wise it was great!!!!!

My go to for amazing Mexican food. Ive been to other places downtown and around the Birmingham area and no one comes close to the value you will get here. What makes this place stand out is the in house made tortillas they for the tacos.

I have been a customer for years. My dad introduced me to Juan’s (what we’ve always called it because the owners name) when they were in the back part of the gas station down the road. Food is outstanding and they truly appreciate your business. We don’t make it as much as we used to because of my work schedule but if I’m close around lunch time it’s my first choice.

Great authentic Spanish cuisine

Authentic Mexican thats great if you want to eat out or buy some ingredients for a fiesta at home. This place is a hole in the wall, so it may be hard to notice but the food is legit. Of all the places to come and go over the years this one has stood the test of time, and for a reason.

Did not feel welcome at all like walking into a redneck bar in the movies and the music stops. The food smelled great but my pickup order was late so I had to sit in this environment where I don’t feel welcome longer than necessary will not order here again. You can barely see it from the road and it is not very clean. The parking is a free for all

Looking for an authentic Mexican place? Look no further! They don’t disappoint on any of the dishes. Campechanos and el pastor tacos are great! The salsa is super tasty and makes you realize just how little self control you have when a bowl of it is sitting in front of you. Bonus, they even have horchatas!

Absolutely fantastic find! We usually frequented a more well known establishment in Pinson but were so glad that place was closed one Sunday and decided to come here instead. Couldnt have been more happy then and havent been disappointed since. One of the best menu selections Ive ever seen. Everything from Al pastor tacos every bit as good as from Tres Hermanos taco truck to fajitas that are every bit as good as any Ive had anywhere else. I have tried many items from the menu as well as my companion and we havent been disappointed with anything since. After many visits I still havent gotten around to trying out the torta sandwiches. The guacamole dip is excellent as well if youre wanting more than your usual salsa for the chips which also are as good or better than any Ive had anywhere else. Nothing to complain about, not even the modest prices which are much appreciated to a poor boy like me. Ive yet to explore the walk over market adjacent to the dining area but my traveling companion says its well stocked and full of interesting items.The establishment is clean and the staff is always prompt and friendly. Always look forward to going back again.

Best salsa anywhere

Discovered this place by chance one Sunday. Ive eaten there many times since. My favorite menu items are the shrimp quesadilla, the fajitas, Fiesta Pollo con queso, and any of their tacos. Also, the chips and salsa are divine, as is the horchata. The staff is very friendly. Dont forget to check out the market next door.
