This is one of my favorite liquor stores in Birmingham. The owner is so friendly and we always have long talks no matter how quickly I pick out my purchase. Although I no longer live in the area, I still work nearby and make it a point to stop by every now and then. Hes got a huge selection as well as a cooler with mixers.

This place is the best! Their beer election is huge and I love their design you own six-pack option. With this option you can try a bunch of beers without committing to a large volume of it

No exaggeration, 80% of the beer I looked at was expired! Some expired 10 months before! Once I found a six pack that I thought wasnt expired, I took it home to find out the store had put 2 expired beers in there. Bad business! Go to Highland package or Hop city for beer, much better selection anyway.

Always a great experience here! The owner is always welcoming and the selection is great. Awesome place to try out new beers with the build your own six packs. Im a fan for sure!

I LOVE this place. Great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and the selection is unbelievable! I like the fact that the cold beer is COLD, and they have all my favorites plus new stuff to try every time Im there. I dont think theres a keg they CANT get, and the prices of their kegs are, without question, the best in town. Also, the growler selection is ridiculous. Once again: cold, delicious and unlike a lot of growlers, they stay fresh a looong time. I highly recommend this place...its my only shopping stop for beer, ever!

Only been to this place once and I will never return again. I asked for a particular beer and was told they didnt have it, at that time I said ok Ill see what you have,only for the guy in the store to follow me around on the next row over from place to place acting like he was looking at something on the shelf. I turned to him and told him that he didnt have to follow me around Im not trying to steal anything out this store and I walked out. Oh Yeah!!!! Did I mention I was the only person in the store at the time.....I Will never shop here again.

Great keg prices! They can also tell your CO2 tank for the kegerator.Always have an interesting conversation with Mark. He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to kegerator.

Aww man; by far hands down the BEST place to get a Keg filled/exchanged in Birmingham!!! HIGHL*** PACKAGE Store on Highland Avenue near 5 points quoted me $205 for a Michelob Ultra Keg!!! = ( That is outrageous! The Price for a Michelob ultra keg at Vulcan Beverage is $145. I swear it. Plus, they have the catchiest quotes that they change once a week or so on their billboard out front that are always so funny!
