Excellent service department with integrity. Staff is helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. We have a small fleet of vehicles, and well be taking them to Stivers from now on. My experience with Ed Jeszka and the rest of the staff in the service department at Stivers Ford has always been a pleasant one. They are always professional, courteous, informative and genuinely care for my needs. Since I work in vehicle transportation across many many states I regularly work with A LOT of dealerships weekly if not daily. Ed Jeszka and Stivers Ford are in my top 3 favorites of dealerships. Someone will always answer the phone when I call and if I do happen to have to leave a message I will always get a call back asap. Most service departments have really struggled in that area even before the whole shipment and chip fiasco sometimes taking days to call me back. But Ed and the team at Stivers have even continued to stay on top of their superb communication skills even during these difficult times. I appreciate them immensely.

I was up early to get my car serviced before heading to work. My car’s washer fluid and battery was checked along with this cool automated tire tread reader. I got my oil changed, battery replaced, and tires rotated with plenty of time left to make it to work on time. Thank you Ed!

We had a fantastic experience with Stivers Ford. Jessica was so helpful and kind, and we are thrilled with the work done on our car. We used to go to a Ford dealership closer to our house, but we weren’t satisfied with how unwilling to work us in they were. When I called Stivers, Jessica told me to come right in and they would get my emergency issue fixed immediately. The work they did was excellent and reasonably priced. Stivers is the best Ford dealership around.

My wife and I were driving through Birmingham en route to our home in southwest Florida when we experienced a major breakdown on I-65. We knew nothing about Birmingham, but our tow truck driver recommended, due to the severity of our problem, that we have the truck taken to Stivers Ford of Birmingham. After spending the night in a motel, I called Stivers Ford and was routed to our Service Advisor, Edward Jeszka. I explained that we were trying to get home and that circumstances were such that it was important thus to do so. Ed explained that the problem with our truck was very labor intensive, but promised to do his best to get us back home. We were unable to locate a rental car, so we were stuck. We were thrilled when Ed called at 4:00 pm to tell me our truck was ready! I can’t say enough for Ed and the Stivers Ford crew. They are great!!!
Employees are friendly and Knowledgeable.. Especially Josh.As for the company...I have been without my car for about 4 months because the part is on back order.. Seems as though a company that large could locate a part and/or have adequate suppliers...
After working on a purchase for 2 days and driving 3 and a half hours from Nashville to Birmingham, we were called when we were 3 or 4 miles away from the dealership and told they sent the Jeep we were buying to an auto auction... because the salesman neglected to mention to anyone that he had a pending sale scheduled to arrive at 4pm. We had even touched base with the salesman when we were about 90 minutes away to ensure everything was good to go. We had financing I place. They lost an easy sale as we were just looking to upgrade our current Jeep and we were ready to buy.
I took my car to get serviced and Josh Cook provided me with excellent customer service. He explained what needed to be done to my car and also asked if I wanted to wait or use their free shuttle services. Overall, I am pleased with their service and I highly recommend!!!!

Jessica was awesome. She was so patient and never had any kind of attitude…no matter how many questions I asked. FIVE STARS solely for her! Ford overall has some issues with how they treat customers (I.e. telling a customer they are on their own as far as transportation while their car is stuck unfixed and with parts on back order). Im grateful for the help Stivers was able to provide but there should be something for customers that are without transportation due to a faulty part through Ford
AGAIN, Stivers Ford of Birmingham’s service department personnel did an AMAZING job with servicing my new 2021 Limited Edition Outer Banks Bronco.I finally, reached 7,500 miles on my new ride. I purchased the maintenance plan at the time of purchase. The plan allowed me to have my car serviced without pulling out my wallet. My service visit entitled a multi-point inspection, oil change, and tire rotation. You can’t beat this with a stick.KUDOS Jeszka Edward and the service technician for providing quality customer service during this visit!…And thanks to the sales and finance team for offering maintenance plans that benefited my current finances.

DO NOT shop with them. The day I got my vehicle I was at the dealership for 5 hours after coming in with exactly which vehicle they had on the lot I wanted as well as already having been given an estimate on my trade in. Had I not done that, who knows how long I would have been there! I bought my vehicle TWO MONTHS ago and am still having difficulties with this place. I bought my explorer as an out of state purchase. After two months of hassling them about the paper work being sent to the wrong county and with the wrong information on it twice. My tax assessor finally received the correct paperwork from the dealership two days shy of two months from purchase. Now the check they sent is less than it needed to be and I am being held responsible for the several hundred dollars in late fees on top of my car tag price and the money they shorted with the paperwork. Furthermore, different floor mats were supposed to be included with my purchase. They have supposedly gotten lost in shipment twice. Who knows if I will even ever get them. With all of these problems, it is difficult to get a hold of any of the people who can fix the problem or get them to return a phone call. PLEASE do yourself a favor and dont buy your vehicle here!
Stivers Ford was great. The work was done timely and it was reasonably priced. My service advisor; Josh, made me feel like I was his most important customer.
We scheduled a service appointment 2 weeks in advance. When we showed up to drop the F750 work truck for service Ed promptly checked the truck in and had all work completed by the end of the business day. We will be returning to Stivers for all of our future service needs.

Everyone at Stivers Ford Birmingham gives excellent service! When I dropped my car of yesterday, both Jessica and Jonathan were such a big help. Jessica is who always helps me, and she always has a smile and a thank you for me. Jonathan was so great to help get me scheduled the day after I called, and even got a car wash set up for me. Jessica even helped me redeem my FordPass points so I paid NOTHING! I left yesterday feeling very well taken care of.

If there were to be an option for no stars, thats what I would choose. If you want your credit ruined and to be talked to like trash, this is the place to go. They will make mistakes but its always the customers fault. They have a new general manager that is helpful, but its going to take more than a new GM to fix this place. Buying a vehicle is supposed to be a fun experience, not stressful. It should definitely not drag out for months. This has been the worst experience of my life, buying anything. My vehicle isnt the issue.
Anthony, Aaron, and David (finance) are the best they do everything to make sure you have a smooth and easy transition. Buying a car can be a drag but they made it so enjoyable. Great conversation and happy atmosphere and trust I am not a people person.

I took my vehicle to this dealership for a used car inspection and a diagnostic test. Now my truck sputters as if its about to cut off. A problem which I wasnt having before and they said I needed to replace a part that wasnt broken. On top of that they broke one of my fog lights and didnt tell me. Do not use this dealership they con artist.
This place is unlike many dealerships in the area. The sales manager and sales people are genuinely great. Avery Blackall, in particular, was a great guy to work with when trying to find a new car. He found a car that met my price point, however, I wanted something similar to what I was currently driving and not go down in the value I perceived. He was part counselor, stress reliever and provided a very optimistic view to car buying. The manager was extremely fair in my trade in, something I haven’t been able to find with other dealerships. Usually dealerships ding you for everyone imperfection, but they gave me a fair trade in value and even helped by a few thousand to try to get this sale done.I got a call a few days later, and Avery got me back in. It still was not my price point but met a lot of my needs in a vehicle. They also gave me an extremely generous offer on my trade in and got me an excellent deal. Overall, I think out of the four cars I’ve purchased, this has got to take the best experience I’ve had. I think the sales guy and the manager made this the best experience.

Stivers Ford of Birmingham had the exact vehicle I was looking for, I had been looking for about a week for me a GT Mustang. Eugene Jones was the Salesman that helped us out with locating, prepping and fueling our ride up. He was more than helpful, he made us feel like family. Then we moved on to the financing department where Shelby Parker took care of our loan for the vehicle. He went out of his way to find us the lowest apr, and set us up with a service plan to cover everything for the next six years. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new vehicle, I drove five hours to get mine and would do it again.

Check your math with theirs, then DOUBLE check their math again. My biggest gripe is getting a brand new vehicle with sticky red candy (or something) all over the backseat on a new vehicle. I would not have noticed unless my youngest child had not mentioned it on the way home. Upon a review with Ford.com a sales manager called and offered me a check to get it detailed. I have now payed the first payment and no check has yet to arrive. Perhaps if they follow through on their offer I will rank them higher than 1 star. Until then I cannot in good confidence recommend this dealershipUPDATESales manager sent 1/2 of what was agreed upon...sheesh.

Ed in the service dept. is THE MAN. Travelling through Birmingham and had the service light come on. Stopped by expecting the worst. Ed took my vehicle right in, his team assessed the issue and were able to correct the issue in no time... Great job by all.
September 7th we purchased a NEW truck from this dealership. September 9th we had to bring it in to be looked at due to a horrible noise from the rear shocks. We get the truck back and it seems fine for a day or two. September 14th we bring it back in for the same issue. It turns out the shocks on the NEW truck need to be completely replaced!! Although this is a new truck, it was being driven by a Stivers employee prior to our purchase. What did they do to the truck, and why was it sold in to us in that condition?Of course new shocks are on an international backorder.As of this time, our NEW TRUCK is still with the service department and no set timeline for repair. Everytime you call you get a different answer, it will be ready Monday at the latest, oh no sorry Wednesday, oh sorry we did not get the parts yet but we are 80% sure it will be Friday.......At this point the dealership has had our truck longer than we have, yet we are paying the note.Can you say LEMON LAW!!!Make this right Stivers!!!!
Scheduled an appointment, for the next day, to look at a pre-owned F-150 pickup. Wife and I both left work early, the day of the appointment, so that we arrived at Stivers on time. When we arrived the truck was not available for viewing and could not be found. We were scheduled to talk with one sales associate and were handed of to another with 7 days of experience. The price initially listed on Stivers web site was not the price we offered. We were told the original tires were swapped out which increased the out the door price by $2000.00.
Had a mechanical malfunction on my F-150 while on a trip. Service I received at Stivers Ford, particularly from service advisor (Mark), was outstanding. Got me in promptly, diagnosed and repaired the problem, and back on the road in about 4 hours. Truck running fine since so diagnosis/repair seems accurate. My thanks to everyone.

My 2017 Ford Expedition had some service needs so I took it to Stivers Ford because it was close to my place of employment. Even though I didnt purchase the vehicle from them, Gerald in the service department was quick to attend to my needs and also took care of some other items that I was not even aware of. Because parts had to be ordered and my vehicle had to spend a few nights with them, Gerald offered me a brand new Explorer to test drive so I had a means of transportation. As a result of this excellent customer service, my next Ford will be purchased from Stivers.
UPDATE: Now I CAN say something about the dealership...They say theyll contact you, but they never will. They really dont care.Can’t really say anything about the dealership itself but a huge word of caution to avoid Sparky Sparks. He’ll promise things he can’t actually do and waste your time.Called at 8:45am saying I was interested in purchasing a vehicle that same day and he was aware I was coming from Metro Atlanta. Thought he was being super helpful because he even texted me through personal phone. I called him not even an hour later to double check if the vehicle was actually available and about different payment options so that I would come prepared. He answered that he’d keep the keys in his pocket and made sure the vehicle was put aside not to be sold. Kept in touch the rest of the day and he asked me for my eta, let him know I was an hour away and he responded with “cool!”. I arrive to the dealership and walk in to speak to him and he is still being kind and telling me he was going to finish up with other customers and to wait outside. When he finally gets to me he has the audacity to tell me if there’s another vehicle I’d like to purchase saying he can give me the biggest discount of my life because he just sold the one I was interested in 30 minutes ago. Please ask for a different salesman that won’t lie to you!!!

Having a firm reservation to get my vehicle serviced saves me time. I especially like it when I get there and Mark, my service writer knows my name. He and others on the staff recognize me as a loyal customer. While my vehicle is serviced, I sit in Stivers clean waiting room and read a book. My first Google review. Wish I could give them 5 stars because that would mean I had a great experience. But buyers BEWARE of the management here. If you buy a used car or happen to get a lemon, you may be in for a huge headache. I bought a used vehicle on Friday, 2/19, and on Monday 2/22 I already had it being looked at by my mechanic. This was AFTER I tried to get management to respond. Vehicles fuel pump wasnt working, and Stivers said DO NOT tow it to our place because we dont work on Rams. My mechanic found out that the fuse box had been heavily rigged to send extra juice to a failing fuel pump, just enough to get it to run. He said that this was easy to spot once they looked at it, meaning that Stivers doesnt check out the vehicles well enough. I have tried, repeatedly, to get them to return my call and talk to me about the issue, hoping they will at least acknowledge it. And additional $2000 later Ive got the van back, but NO thanks to Stivers. My mechanic, on the other hand, is going to get the SECOND Google review Ive ever written, and it will be 5 stars.As of the date of this review, we are just a month past the date I bought the van, and I still have not heard from them. This was after my salesperson and the manager BOTH said he would get back in touch with me. They have three different phone numbers, and not a single message or call has been made. I will keep trying, and I hope that someone in their marketing group will see this and get back with me. Im hoping there has been some minor miscommunication there and that I will get some assistance and help covering the expenses soon. If that happens, Ill be happy to re-evaluate my rating.
