Greatest customer service in Birmingham anywhere. If Allen or Heather says its going to happen it will happen. It will not take 3 months unless parts are not available, they jump right on it, stay in touch and let you know whats going on the whole time. Treat you like family, you do not get that at your local dealership unless youre buying a new car... The service is great. I would recommend them to anyone I know.

I have owned many cars in my lifetime and moving frequently meant finding a trusted company to service my car. That was definitely not always the dealer. I was referred to Hutchinsons Auto by a college friend and could not be more pleased with their work, professionalism and kind hearts.

Great place to have your Audi/ VW vehicles repaired. They also work on other vehicles as well. Very knowledgeable mechanics and staff. Their repair rates are a lot lower than the dealers. I have referred a lot of people to Hutchinson Automotive and they all have been very pleased. Hutchinson Automotive also honors their warranty on parts, repairs and dont hassle you. I would recommend this shop without hesitation. They have helped me out a few times now, and I never got the feeling they were out to get extra dollars out of me. Wonderful customer service. My daughter broke down on the way home from college and broke down. Hutchison Automotive was amazing at helping us out by taking in the car for diagnostics. While the news wasn’t great (which we had anticipated) they were great to work with and I highly recommend them.

Amazing customer service. Very friendly and patient. My VW seems to always have something going on and Ive finally learned to start asking questions. No ego or attitude when i asked about the repairs needed! Makes a big difference when someone is willing to show you whats going on.

Do not take your vehicles to this place!! Really rude and didn’t do their job right! & wanted to charge me extra for something they couldn’t fix right? They need to work on they’re attitudes a little more

This was the best experience Ive ever had with a mechanic. Heather and Alan are very friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy fixing cars. They called and quoted me a price on everything I said was wrong with the car and verified which services I wanted and which ones I did not. When I picked up my car Alan showed me pictures of what had gone wrong and how he had fixed it. For the problems I didnt elect to have repaired at the shop he explained what I needed to do to fix them myself and told me to call him if I had any problems doing self-repair.

I have driven VWs for years and after my cars factory warranty expires Hutchinson is my go to place. Heather and Alan are carrying on the wonderful tradition set by Heathers father. Customer service is the best and the price is always reasonable. I would not go anywhere else. Thanks guys.

Hutchinson Automotive provides great service and good prices. Hutchinson has performed maintenance on my TDI on several occasions. Most recently, they replaced a clutch, changed the oil & oil filter, replaced the fuel filter & treated the fuel, and replaced the cabin air filter. I highly recommend them. I drove over 3 hours just to bring my car in for them to service, because I like their work and prices.

Ive been an Audi owner since 2014. Ive seen my fair share of repairs. Im stil new to Birmingham, AL. Have had experience with the only dealership in town which hasnt been great. I finally went for a second opinion due to expensive work and multiple misdiagnoses. Researched and quoted for control arm replacements to at least 5 places. They were not only the cheapest in town, but had fast service, early and late drop off options, and great customer service. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks again!

Had to have my daughters beetle towed to Hutchinson from Tuscaloosa. They understood the urgency and us repaired expeditiously.

I purchased my Volkswagen Jetta TDI Sport Wagon about 6 months ago. I was looking around for a place to have it serviced and everyone I talked to had the nicest things to say about Hutchinson Automotive. I have been there several times in the last few months for an oil change and other scheduled service. The prices are very reasonable and the service is Fast and Friendly. I wouldnt dream of using anyone else. Hutchinson will get all my service business and if you own a Volkswagen head over there. You will be pleased you did.

I called around to a few VW specialists in my area and about a noise my 06 Jetta TDI was making and Alan at Hutchinson Automotive seemed the most knowledgeable (and customer oriented) so I drove down from Florence, AL to let him do the work. He replaced the EGR cooler and pipe that causes these cars to hiss after time. My car is now running great! Highly recommend Hutchinson Automotive. I will go back for any future major repairs.
