First photo is the new starter for her blazer that the owner says was replaced.. She was told it was fixed after the blazer sat there for 3 weeks.. The mechanic, when the vehicle was supposedly ready, had to climb under and tap the starter for her to leave the lot!! When we snapped a picture of the first photo we knew there was something wrong!! He came back and picked the vehicle up, and just now have gotten the vehicle back with a NEW STARTER---See the 2nd photo... He was caught in a lie!!! THE OWNER SAID HE REPLACED THE STARTER HIMSELF!!! TOTAL CROOK!!

I have been looking for a company to take care of my tuneup for my Yukon. After calling around to Express Oil and a couple other places, I noticed how the service prices varied. I even called 3 Express Oil Change locations on the southern side of town where I lived and their prices were $70-$100 different.I called Steel City and not only did they give me an excellent quote, they got me in right away. My truck is driving is handling a lot better now and I am glad I went there. I am recommending them to everyone I know and they have all my future business now.

Horrible dishonest business. I hope this mechanic can sleep at night knowing he took $800 from my parents. My parents are almost 80 and my father has Parkinsons disease. They have a lot of medical bills and could not afford or deserve what this horrible company has done. They kept their vehicle for two weeks trying to fix the air conditioner. Finally they called and told my father he could pick up the car, that it was fixed. When he returned to my house he was sweating from driving the unfixed car. My husband is a energy consultant so he took his temperature gauge and drove the car. The gauge read 110 degrees while the car read 65 degrees. I called the business and the most unprofessional receptionist hung up on me and finally told me it is not my business what my elder parents are involved in. My parents went back there today asking for at least a partial refund but were refused. So to answer the unprofessional lady, I will not stay out of this and your problems are far from over. You will continue to hear from me!!

Had my 2009 Pontiac G8 GT towed to Steel City when it started making engine noise. They said I needed a new engine and would get me some prices. I made several calls to them over the next few weeks and had trouble getting calls back. They had my car for almost 4 months! Finally I got a price of $5,500 for the engine and another $1,000 to install it. I dont think so! So I had it towed back home, only to see a big dent in the front fender. I immediately called and was told there was no way that happened at their shop. They said it is because of calls like mine that they have surveillance cameras and I could come look at them for proof. 4 months of video? Really? Ive found another engine (in a matter of minutes) for $2,400 with a warranty, and only $750 to install. Would I got back to Steel City? Nope.

Rip off. I ordered shocks and struts and paid them to put them on installed the wrong stuff and never ordered the right stuff and never gave me my money back. Oh and they only installed front struts never got the shocks and everytime I called or stopped by the owner was never there. They will rip you off and take your money. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! They are liars and con artists. They messed up my truck 2 times by simply not having the knowledge to do the job correctly and then wanted me to pay for the repairs. Which I ended up doing just because it was cheaper than the court cost. I ended up just selling my truck because of the hacked job they did on my suspension. I could go on and on but Ill leave it at this. Everyone that gave this place 5 stars is most likely friends and or family.

They are very dishonest! They are very bad liars. I have never seen a company with horrible customer service . I spoke with the receptionist who informed me that the part was ordered on wednesday but was on back ordered till friday, when asked why the customer was not notified, the owner informed me that the receptionist didnt say that. I have been called many things but not a liar when i heard the information for myself. if you like dishonesty then this is the place to go.My daughter was referred to this place from Firestone and I notified them they are referring people to dishonesty. I really wish my daughter would have checked reviews before leaving her vehicle there.I guess since they are responding to bad reviews its a way to try to cover up. Its sad that so many bad reviews from a local company. Never again and I have also asked some friends to share my post on social media to make it go viral. They deserve no stars, but since you have to do at least 1.UpdateHe did offer to bring my daughters car back with the motor out, which makes no sense, since it was running when it was left on Friday.I only asked for a discount due to inconvenience with them knowing my daughter was from Jacksonville and was due back to work on Monday. She had to call in on Monday and Tuesday due to the lies she was told. I informed the receptionist that when an auto shop keep you car longer than expect they should notify the customer or give them a loaner car. Also if she was aware that they was not Open on Saturday, which they informed my daughter they close on at 2. If the information was relayed to us correctly we would have gotten a rental car on Friday. So again, more lies from the scammer.What is so unprofessional is being very combative with the customer. Too many reviews saying dishonest on the same company. I guess everyone is a liar except the dishonest company.
