They are absolutely wonderful! I took in my Dad’s 1993 Ford Lightning. We had been having trouble with it going dead and just not running right. Several other local mechanics had tried to fix it with little success. I read about Hesco and decided to give them a try. I’m so glad I did. They got Dad’s truck running perfectly! I will never let anyone else work on it again. They do a great job and great work! I just can’t thank them enough for all they did. Would recommend them highly to anyone.

I bought a lotus and it was delivered with a flat tire. Jeff came out to my house picked up the tire and brought it back the next day to put the tire on and check the pressure in the rest of the tires. He was happy to answer any question I had! Amazing customer service! A+! I will be using them for the service of my car.

I grew up next door to Jeff. I remember a day when I looked out and saw a 2nd gen camaro with a blower sitting a foot out of the hood. It was Jeff. I was a kid and did the burnout hand signal..to which he happily obliged. Worked with his lil sis many years later and he still remembered. Genuinely thoughtful and kind dude who exudes knowledge.

The customer service is outstanding, the people working there feel authentic and give the impression they truly care.

As someone indicated, they do a lot of specialty high end vehicle work but it has been well worth the extra to know that the work is done right. I have been taking my now 10yr old (beater) Jeep here for 8+ years and will take my new Subaru here. Joe is great and always has the time to spend explaining anything to you. He even took my husband and son around the shops to look at all of the cars there.

At last found a shop to work on my Mazda RX-8 R3 with a twin rotary. Honest diagnosis and job well done. Think it runs better than when I bought it! Thank you Jeff and crew!

I have been taking my machine work to Hesco for many years. Best machine shop anywhere. Now that I no longer work on my own vehicles, I intend to entrust them with their care.

These guys do some of the best work in Birmingham. That being said, when you see the Ferraris and classic cars in the parking lot you know you are going to pay a price that matches their level of quality work. Dont let the abrasive or lack of communication keep you from at least getting a written quote from their shop. On a side note, get someone to show you around their facility because it is basically an ever changing museum of mechanical genius. Custom builds, daily drivers, etc its a pretty cool spot in the heart of downtown. If all else fails, you can walk to Good People Brewery or Regions Park and drink away your sorrows.

I just want to extend my extreme thanks to the Hesco Team and Jeff especially for going over and beyond to ensure my part was found. I dropped my car off on Monday morning with a crack in my transmission hose, ugh! and was told to leave my car for diagnosis. On Tuesday evening, I was called and Jeff stated, There is nothing we can do we have searched high and low and no one can send the part. Jeff heard the disappointment in my voice and called me back in at least 45 mins and said, I found the part all the way in New York! I was so ecstatic! It was like a dark cloud was lifted from over me. He told me the part will be here Thursday and your car will be fixed by the time you get off work. I must say he is a man of his word. By the time I was attempting to clock out my phone rung and I was told, Your car is ready and we are about to test drive. I couldnt get there fast enough, but anyone that knows, 5p traffic is the worse! I arrived to their shop exactly at 6p just before closing and everyone was there waiting on lil ol me. I handled my part of the deal and drove off with no problem. Thanks guys! I will recommend them to anyone I know.

I have nothing but good things to say about Hesco and the people working there! My husband and I were driving from Utah to Atlanta when our car broke down in Birmingham. Even though they were busy, they fit us in and got us back on the road the next day! Not only did they fix our car, but they went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of while we were stuck in the city. They even called us a few days later to make sure we had made it to our destination safely and without any problems!We are SO grateful for Jeff, Joe, and everyone else who took such good care of us! This was by far the best experience we have ever had with a mechanic, and would recommend them to anyone!

On a recent trip from Birmingham back to Atlanta my 2012 Hyundai Equus ran hot about 30 miles outside of Birmingham, we got off at exit 147 wound up having to get it towed back to Birmingham. I didnt know a mechanic in Bham so I had it delivered to J.B. a Buick dealership, they inspected it for $309 and said that I at the least had a blown head gasket caused by a bad water pump and that it was going to cost me $2215 for them to break down the engine and make sure that there was no further damage with the engine, and that it could be as much as $4500 to replace all the gaskets through out the engine. NOT TODAY!!! So I did a Google search and came across HESCO, the reviews were great, I spoke with Joe Molina and he arranged to have it tower to HESCO DESPITE being in the middle of changing locations, they got it in checked it out, started it up, No white smoke from the tail pipe, turned out to be the water pump, THATs ALL. I cant recommend Joe Molina and the guys at HESCO Automotive highly enough, they are highly professional, extremely efficient, keep you informed at every juncture of the process, and very reasonable. I am telling ALL my friends and family to take their vehicles to HESCO Automotive. Thanks guys, this was a very stressful situation as I was having to take care of it from Atlanta, Joe you could not have been better.

I have a Z-3 and a 535i and would not let anyone else touch them in Birmingham. I used to go to Tom Williams for items under warranty and they always found something to fix that did not need fixing. Anything Joe, Jeff and his folks say, I trust completely.

I had a bolt sheared off inside my BMW motorcycle wheel. I called Wesco from Hoover and explained the situation and that I lived 90 miles south in Dadeville, AL. I spoke with Joe on the phone. He said bring it in and they would see what they could do for me. They used an easy out to remove the bolt for me quickly and wouldnt even take any money for this service. Great people at WESCO!

I took my wifes 07 Murano in for a few repairs and got the same great service as all the exotics Hesco works on. Great guys and service.

I was very disappointed with this business. I had to have my car towed here the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I was told that I would get a detailed estimate the following Monday. I was fine with that. When I called Monday I was told that they had already started replacing and fixing the damaged parts to my car without my permission and without my knowledge. So I specifically said please stop working on it until I get the detailed estimate I was promised and had looked it over. The next day I decided to have my car towed to a different shop that specializes in Volkswagen and Audi cars. When I called Hesco to tell them what I had decided they informed me that my car was almost completely finished. The owner made a decision without my permission yet again and without calling to inform me what was going on. I was highly disappointed that every decision made about my car was made without my input or knowledge. And that my request for them to stop the repairs was completely ignored. This business is very unprofessional and lacks the ability to communicate with their customers. I also feel that I was taken advantage of because I am a woman. Not to mention the repairs done to my car were done wrong. I ended up having to have all the transmission fluid drained and replaced bc they used a brand that is not recommended for German cars. I also had to have the tires rebalanced and aligned bc Hesco didnt properly do that either. I do not recommend this business to anyone.

Apparently Jim Burke Subaru wont work on modified Subarus (so basically every WRX)... Hesco came through and even purchased the updated software so that they could diagnose my car. Skip Jim Burke and take your modified Subie here.
