Had an awesome experience here today! What a great little place! They were personable and super friendly, even went the extra mile to write a happy birthday note on my husbands coffee and let me try their delicious beer on tap (after we parked and went in)! Will definitely be stopping here every time we pass through!
Food and Sevice are ok. Last time I ordered scones they were crumbled up in a box and the lattes tasted very weak compared to how they normally should taste. I waited about 20 minutes for prebaked scones, 3 small milks, and 2 coffees.
Great place to grab coffee and something delicious to eat.
The BEST service! So good!
Cozy atmosphere. Coffee average. No public wifi. Seems kinda cheap of them not to offer public wifi.
The employees were very welcoming and kind. Food was outstanding. The coffee was delicious. The place itself was very clean. Would highly recommend.
I LOVE this place! I’ve been coming for years. The breakfast sandwich is always my go-to, and their scones and other pastries are perfect every time (ask for them to be warmed up!). I love that they reduce plastic waste by actually giving you a mug if you’re drinking your coffee there - I feel like a lot of places are steering away from mugs. The staff is friendly and always eager to please.
Awesome local cafe. Had the clam chowder and chicken and bacon panini. Both were very good and would order again. Their roasted red pepper dressing is great on salads and sandwiches. Coffees are actually better than Starbucks! Would definitely go here again!! Staff is very friendly and provided great service.
We were driving through and wanted to jump off the interstate for a quick lunch that was NOT a fast food chain. The Grind was great! Courteous staff, delicious fresh food, and easy access to I10.
Simply put a MUST VISIT!!A small establishment, limited parking suggest to car pool if you are coming with a group. Seating is also limited but well worth a short wait (if there is one) maintained great, clean and cozy they have a few arm chairs that you just sink in so a real make yourself at home feel. The food is freshly made, i had the bacon egg and cheese panini on wheat. It was amazing. No mess just the good stuff. Which is also served with fresh apple slices.I had a Caramel Latte over Ice and it was refreshing! So they know what they are doing. They have everything you would want from a coffee shop. Traditional and house specialty drinks to choose from and your expected pastries and food choices and some house specialties as well. The staff is absolutely welcoming and the service is phenomenal. A must visit if youre in the area, and definitely worth the trip if you are not. Will be visiting again soon!
I had a latte with a bacon, egg, cheese panini. It was good. Quick service.
Truly disappointed. Came by with my boyfriend a few days ago and had an okay coffee. Milk in my cappuccino was scalded and espresso was a bit burnt. Could be an issue with their calibration or training. I came back today to do some work on my laptop for an hour or two. The older woman behind the counter (I assume a manager or owner) proceeded to stare at me with a grimace after I asked about the wifi password and told me they dont allow customers to use it. Not only do they not offer any wifi to their paying customers, but they have signs posted everywhere asking you to only stay for an hour or less to allow them to serve more guests. Both times I went, they were dead and there was plenty of indoor seating. A coffee shop. With no internet. And you cant even sit and enjoy yourself. Very odd business practice if you ask me.I wont even mention their unsafe anti-masking practices. Overall just very disappointing and I will not be back.
LOVE this cafe! Right across from our hotel so we went twice during our short stay. Great food and drinks and extremely friendly staff. Their customer service stood out from every place on our trip. They even do a military discount. The second time we sat outside with our dog as we were about to head home and they even brought her out some water. Amazing!
Loved it! The Reuben was great. The atmosphere was nice and the staff very welcoming.
Oh, my goodness! I just had a veggie and egg breakfast panini from here. It was soooooo good! Fresh avocado, tomato and spinach made it an amazingly good sandwich.
We were working in town for a week, April 4-11. Found this place on Tuesday, and went there every morning from them till we left. I AM a huge fan of privately owned (not chain) places. The bad: the first morning I went, my caramel latte tasted like the milk has been scorched just a bit? The good: Got straight black coffee the next two mornings, was very good coffee, and the breakfast sandwiches (croissant panini!) were AMAZING. Got brave, & went out for a caramel latte again, Saturday, and before we headed for home Sunday, and they were fine. Love this place, and will be back!!
This place is pretty amazing! I visited today for some coffee and a breakfast panini. The coffee was a nutty turtle. Boy was it good! Not too sweet and still tasted like coffee. The sandwich was delicious and served with apple slices. I got it to go but it was still clear in the way it was packaged that they cared about presentation. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy. The big arm chairs are my favorite.Short story: Ill be back!
Great food and lovely staff. We had a very pleasant time with attentive staff! Reubens are wonderful and blackened Chicken was amazing! Will come again next time in Biloxi! Thanks!
Great food and service. Nice people...
Great service!! Coffee was good and the cafe had a great atmosphere!
Capuchino dont taste like coffe. Powder eggs. Croissant from walmart. Friendly staff but food is microwaved.
The service was friendly....the Paninis were delicious. A great local choice to escape the franchise places!
The staff is literally so sweet! The food and coffee is amazing!!
I came with 4 other girls. We all ordered a panini and a coffee, it literally took them 25mins to make 5 sandwiches. It wasnt busy and there was only two other couple. One had gotten their food, the other couple came after our group, got their food 10 mins before us.Panini had too much butter, little meat, cheese wasnt even melted (seen in my pic). Came with a tiny salad for almost $10. Service wasnt great, but wasnt bad either.
I very much enjoyed their cappuccino and breakfast sandwich as well as the environment. The staff have an EXCELLENT attitude and seem to really know what they are doing. I will DEFINITELY recommend The Grind to others.
Just off of I-10 in Biloxi, MS on Cedar Lake Rd, The Grind easily accessible for a quick stop or drive through. This local, veteran owned business is a bright light among a gathering of fast food eatieries. A nice selection of baked goods (get there early if you want to try the cinnamon rolls), freshly made sandwiches, salads and paninis and a great cup of coffee, youll be glad you stopped by. The food is fresh, delicious and wholesome, filling and satisfying. The service is incredibly pleasant, the staff really seem to enjoy being there. The Grind serves breakfast, brunch and lunch and has quickly become one of our regular stops when we are on the Gulf Coast. 6:30-4:00 M-F, 7-3 S & S.
This is a perfect little nook for some nosh and a friendly chat. The atmosphere and architecture had me reminiscing of times spent in the smoky mountains with friends.Another visit - Unfortunately the espresso drinks sometimes vary in quality. I pickup a latte in the drive thru on my way in. Not very creamy on the steamed milk and the espresso had soured a bit. Ill give them another try next time Im in, but Ill give the drive thru a miss.
Jolly mon and cinnamon rolls! Love the sandwiches.
Great little coffee house. Interesting building with lots of windows. Several 2 and 4 person tables and a set of 4 big chairs in front of a fireplace in the center of the room. Friendly folks, fast service. The coffee mug was huge and the plain coffee I got was good. I also got a panini breakfast sandwich with egg, sausage and cheddar. It also was tasty and came with apple slices. Id come here again for sure.
I was so excited to finally try this place after reading all of the reviews and having several people tell me how amazing it was!! However I was quickly disappointed in my choice to come here over my daily starbucks run. I was instantly greeted with disrespectful words and rude tones. Margaret was seen yelling at other employees in front of guest and then when I mentioned they’d given me the wrong order, they said I would have to get back in line and order again?!? WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO ORDER AGAIN WHEN YOU MESSED UP MY ORDER?! The coffee taste like they brewed it with gym socks and the sandwich taste like burnt cardboard. I’d give this place a negative 10 if possible, I couldn’t imagine a worse experience, bad service and bad food? Pick a struggle. I’d rather drink creek water and chew pavement before I spend my money here EVER again. Margaret needs a vacation or something.
So yummy! I love their coffee and espresso drinks. All of the staff has been respectful and worn masks during this time which is an even bigger bonus. I love that they have a drive thru if I dont feel like getting out of my car or Im on my way to work. They also have a rewards program! Would definitely recommend.
Super tasty Reuben. Potato salad was a nice touch
The Jolly Mon is one of the best coffees Ive had in a while. Great service, too!
If I could give this review a zero, I would. I cannot believe this establishment is still open to the public because it is an obvious toxic and unhealthy environment for its customers and employees. Recently I visited the cafe to try out their coffee for the first time and I was treated so poorly. Margaret, who appeared to be some sort of boss was clearly verbally abusing her employees and being incredibly rude while I was waiting for my coffee at the drive-thru window. I saw her mistreat and raise her voice at an employee, and treated me as if I was being the biggest inconvenience by spending my hard-earned money at her business. Customers should feel appreciated, or at the absolute very least, be treated like a human being with decency, but that was not the case. This was my first and LAST time visiting this rundown embarrassment of a business.
Amazing food, amazing coffee, amazing draft beer, and amazing staff. What more do you want? Go there
Grind Coffee & Nosh is amazing! This place is off of the highway from Pensacola to New Orleans, near Biloxi, and perfect for a breakfast, lunch, or evening coffee break. I found it on a spur of the moment search on Maps for vegetarian brunch options near the highway. You might be surprised to find this quality near regular highway budget outposts. Grind has a house-like setting with coffee table books, homey decor, a fireplace, local photographs, clean bathrooms, parking, and a limited number of tables. We sat at the outside area, where vintage metal tables are. The family running the café constantly checked on us and were extremely friendly. The vegetarian-friendly menu had three options: a wrap, a sandwich, and a flatbread panini. The side salad, lone pickle (huh), and apples complemented the meal perfectly. Not only was the food great, the dressings got my attention. The dressings at Grind are either made in house or at a local facility, and the choice is great. The avocado dressing is great! Delivery is available and prices are reasonable. Overall, a great pit stop with family-style service; 10/10!
I got a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast panini and a frappe, both were really good!! And great service. Would definitely recommend!
First time to try this place and I got the blackened blt for lunch! Soooo amazing and great hospitality
Great customer service. They are always so friendly and their coffee is banging.
First time here. I’d gone through the drive-through and noticed one of the workers making fun of me to another coworker for wearing a mask, alongside pointing and laughing. Seriously?! It’s time to grow up. Although it’s a beautiful shop on the outside, I won’t be returning here anytime soon.
Good food and coffee i am a fan of the place.
Love eating here on the weekends with my family. Great food and love the coffee. Currently only allowing outside eating, but they have a nice patio area to sit and eat. Staff is always friendly
Wrong order, told the server. They didnt care. Sandwich was okay.
When I first discovered this place I was so excited merely for the fact that IT HAS A DRIVE THROUGH! Other than the grind, I haven’t found any other local coffee shop that has a drive through. Their coffee is great! I usually get an americano or a latte. They also have pretty good croissants breakfast sandwiches! I’m very happy with their customer service as well and I can’t wait to try more things off the menu!
When you ask for macchiato in the barista replies “Traditional?”, you know the place knows its coffee. This was an unexpected find right off the highway. Their macchiatos were fantastic!!!
I really like their Reuben sandwich! Its thick, and has a plethora of awesomeness that just makes you say, Mmm! with each bite! Ill take a bite of the sandwich, then throw one or two of their Original with Sea Salt chips down my gullet behind it to satisfy my taste buds! 😏
So this place discriminates against vets/retired. We never had issues before getting a military discount, but now only gives the discount to active duty. And its pretty pathetic since the owner is retired military. Its sad that after you serve your country honorably for 20+ years, you dont count. Please to my retired military folks, do not patronize this establishment.
There coffee was great.. and the best thing is the line through the drive thru was alot faster than star bucks... best part
Far and away the best coffee south of the mason dixon line. Fast service at the drive thru, wonderful employees. Thanks for the vanilla soy lattes, the best I ever had.
My husband and I stopped here for the first time a couple weeks ago and ordered through the drive thru. I ordered a blended white mocha, my husband ordered a coffee with cream, and we shared a Ruben. Our order was taken by someone who stepped outside since there was a long line, which I appreciate. She was friendly, however when we reached the window we were asked for our name. When we told her no one took down our name, she seemed upset with us.We let this go, as they were busy, but then we tried our drinks. My husband’s coffee was very weak, but at least tasted like coffee. My blended white mocha tasted like a bad shake from a gas station. I didn’t taste any espresso and we ultimately threw it away because it was too sweet for either of us. The Ruben was ok, but not worth $10 by any means. I would have expected it be significantly more full for that price.Overall we’ll probably give it another chance as it’s the only coffee shop somewhat nearby, but it won’t be the highlight of our day. There are plenty of constructive reviews here that the owners could utilize to improve their service and attention to quality of beverages, so I’m not sure why that hasn’t been done yet. That’s my overall recommendation - for the owners, not potential customers - please read these reviews and consider making some adjustments to improve the experience of customers at The Grind.
In a world of generic starbux, this Grind place served me a fabulous Latte, and quick access from the interstate 😊
Great coffee (cappuccino & latte), and breakfast croissants
Never disappointed. Great coffees and sandwiches.
Coffee was absolute fire🔥 Their Scones and breakfast paninis are delicious 🤤 10/10
Delicious food, great variety of food, good service, clean, fast.My only negative: hot coffee is not strong at all.
Absolutely amazing! We stop here ANY time we are in town. The food, coffee, atmosphere is to die for. If you have a chance to try the black and blue sandwich - do it! Or even a simple warm blueberry muffin. Delicious. It’s just an overall cute little local coffee shop. I wish we lived closer to come here more often.
Service excellent. Staff friendly and professional, product great
Friendly staff and excellent food and coffee
The sandwiches here are pretty delicious, as are the drinks. The only thing I could fault is the lack of parking and table seating. Its such a popular place it gets packed and over crowded really easily. The owners should invest in a larger coffee/sandwich shop with more parking. Also, for those that dont know, they serve some really nice beers here.
Ok food, women who took our order was very rude she seemed annoyed we wanted a menu she had shaved hair ? She kept putting her mask down to speak .won’t be coming back. If I could give Zero stars I would
Service could be a little quicker if they would take your order before you get to the window. However the coffee and food are great!
Very friendly service and great food and coffee!
My wife and I recently visited and it was very nice. The place is very clean. I had the Turkey and swiss and she had the chicken and bacon sandwich. The food was very good and the people were pleasant. I highly recommend this place. They also have some pretty good sweet tea :)
Coffee and food are both great. Sweet & cozy. The owners and all the employees are super friendly. They have a reward card where you get a free coffee every so often (every 10 maybe? Not totally sure). Our favorites are the breakfast sandwiches, the chicken bacon, and the Cobb salad. Oh and the cinnamon rolls are amazing!
Wonderful service! Saren is extremely a friendly, knowledgeable, patient worker! She was very helpful with advise about my preferably dairy free drink. Great breakfast and drinks!
Passing through, and in need of some Java and anything Gluten Free...and this place was TOP NOTCH. Not only did they have Gluten Free options, they also had Turkey Sausage and made a wonderful egg sandwich. Thank you Very Much! Support Local.
This place is amazing! They are so kind and they remember you! The food is out of this world too.
Great coffee shop. The breakfast panini was very good.
Amazing service. My first two visits as I waited in line someone walked out the door to get my order and it was waiting for me at the window when I got there very quickly in and out. The third day no one came out to take my order. No biggie.but its only because they remembered me and they still had my order ready when I got to the window to pay. I cant explain how amazed I was at that type of customer service they are simply the best
Very kind people and very nice place. Glad I stopped there for a quick breakfast. It was an unforgettable experience. Tried the breakfast panini, Mediterranean Chicken and cinnamon roll. All are delicious and the rolls are tasty. Their coffee tastes good also.
Amazing food, coffee and service. Very friendly. Will be back!
Traveling through & feeling fortunate to find this gem! Service was extra friendly. We have been having trouble finding vegetarian options but this team showed they would go above and beyond to accomodate. Had we been hungrier we would’ve ordered the garden Panini, which sounded delicious, but rather they graciously made us avocado on toast. 👍🏻
Love this place.
I come here often. Its always delicious. Everything is fresh and the coffee is very good. Never had a complaint about the service either. Very friendly atmosphere.
This is one of my favorite places to eat lunch.I highly recommend this placeIve eaten here probably 20 times... Never been disappointed. They do have a drive throughTry the blackened turkey sandwichThe owners are always there, and very niceThe place is clean and organized.Parking can be a bit tough but you can just park in the shopping center parking lot nextdoor
Airy/open feel with good coffee. Bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was great! House blend is smooth and the caramel latte was tasty. Servers were very polite and sweet even though you could tell they were very busy. Good spot for a relaxing breakfast/brunch.
Very nice food, healthy. Fast friendly service. I enjoyed my turkey sandwich with the olive spread the name of which I forget. Be mindful that the exit is technically the drive thru so that can be a little inconvenient.
Quickly became my favorite coffee and lunch spot in the area. Food is amazing and well priced. Staff is friendly and the male owner is always greeting customers and being very hands on. The kind of customer service you find here is hard to find these days. 10/10 would recommend
The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is pretty great. That said, I was a paying customer sitting at a table and doing a little work.I had just finished my meal and my dishes had been taken away but I was still working on coffee and I was reading papers for work. Lunch hour can be really busy and someone, I can only assume the manager or owner because the staff have always been wonderful, came over and straight-up told me to move so they could have the table.I understand the difficulty with space, but it was very rude. I’ve willingly sat in the couch to eat my meal before without an issue. They have space to add more tables if they wanted to, instead of booting customers out.
Iced white chocolate mocha is delicious! The black coffee is tasty too. The breakfast panninis were yummy! Great service too.
Was a very sweet place. Staff was very kind, and gave us many suggestions on what to do around. We were guided to many attractions. I am pleased with food quality, and the kindness and friendliness of staff.
Family owned coffee shop, it has comfortable chairs inside. The food is good and the coffee is on point. I prefer the blended coffee or frappuccino. The croissant sandwiches are my favorite. The staff is all smiles usually, and very sincere. They are slightly better than Starbucks in my opinion
Love love love this place. Amazing coffee which is a hard find, and very tasty food. Small cozy setting. One of my favorites in this area. They even have great local beer on tap. Win win.
