Absolutely the best! Best food in the world. Chef Andrew is a phenomenon and should have is own TV show, like Emeril or Wolfgang Puck.The staff is really excellent and very friendly. In fact, everyone I have met in this place has been really friendly and down to earth. Its a breath of fresh air.

One of my favorite places for brunch. The mimosas and breakfast sammich are always on point. Came in today for lunch not realizing the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes. As a vegetarian I have noticed that they put fresh veggies in their food. Never canned or old food. I love it. The place is cool and the food is good BUT what bar closes the kitchen at 9pm on a Saturday night?? Like really lets have music and alcohol but no food...pretty disappointed by this...in all my travels and life never been in a bar grill that closes kitchen at 9 on Saturday

Irish Death Wish cheese curds with chipotle ranch dip excellent. Highly recommend the Prime rib cheese steak sandwich, thinly sliced meat, green and red peppers grilled perfectly.

A few of us got together tonight, hadnt seen each other in years. We were having a ball our first cocktail waitress was fabulous. Our second was less than enthusiastic. I still tipped her very well for the food. But I must say she didnt have the personality for the motivation as the first gal. I wish I knew who the first girl was because she deserves a raise.

Great food and the service is hard to beat! They have a nice set up for social distancing and its comfortable. Food can take a bit longer some times but, very rarely is it not worth the wait. The nachos are my favorite!

I have been in for breakfast twice in the last three weeks. The country gravy is full of sausage and flavor. It is great on the biscuits or on the excellent chicken fried steak. The eggs are over easy, the potato and bread options are quality. The staff is always friendly and on it. Best breakfast in or near downtown Billings.

Its Saturday 🌃 night and there was barely any parking and it was only 6:00pm. Finding parking 🅿️ was difficult so I decided to leave. Not 🚫 good with a small building 🏫 full of that many people. Must be good 😃 though according to car count.

This place is a regular customer only place. We sat at the table in the middle and the owner and our waitress couldnt see or help us. The regulars around us got repeat visits and even a sit down from the owner, we sat 6 feet away and couldnt seem to get someones attention, my wife asked are we invisible. I can only say wow. Waitress took our order, dropped off the food, (never said boo), didnt notice our empty glasses, never checked back, dropped the bill, took our plates, one still had more than 3/4 of the food on it (couldnt stomach a bloody burger, ordered medium WELL done) said nothing.... Maybe its a bad day cuz the reviews said it was good, I dont agree.

My husband and I ate there last night. The shrimp was the best Ive ever had, huge and delicious. My husband had the rib eye, said it melted in your mouth

They fry seafood and chicken in the same fryer. Allergic to seafood . Fantastic. Going to hospital.

Today its been a hard day usually the high horse is a great and wonderful place to eat at however today unfortunately was not one of their best days first we will be going back just because their food is usually on point and their service is usually great however I understand that there are extenuating circumstances everybody has their own bad day but today we ordered some food we didnt get the right food and then when they are right food did come back the hot crushed potatoes were rushed and they were undercooked and still raw and when we got served our food the waitress tipped over one of the French toast syrups and one of the plates was sitting in the syrup and she didnt see it and when I tried to tell her that she was leaking syrup all over everything she didnt take it to heed and she drizzled syrup in my wifes purse on my wifes back all over the table and we didnt say anything because we understand that everybody has bad days but I just I couldnt let this go and I do appreciate everything that they do is a very good place to eat and we do enjoy going there we just hope next time we dont get drizzled with syrup and turn the blind eye to and get the right food because we know that your service is usually on point

My girlfriend and I have been here probably 20 or more times in the last year or so. Great breakfast with full bar. I have only tried their breakfast fare but Im sure the rest is great too. You can tell they are always working on customer service because they are so good at it and I always see one guy who I think is either the manager or the owner and he is actively involved in this place becoming a local classic.

I like the atmosphere. Had the biscuits and gravy, the biscuits were dense and borderline doughy and there wasnt near enough gravy, just ground up meat. Good atmosphere though.

Excellent food, outstanding customer service. Very clean and professionaly designed building. This is one of Billings hidden secrets. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Montana.

Went for the Valentine’s Day special. It consisted of prime rib, vegetables, potato, salad, and desert. I like my prime rib, unlike most, well done. It was very tender and tasty. The horseradish and auju complemented the meat perfectly. Great fried zucchini and smashed red potatoes. Really enjoyed the fresh salad and deserts. A tray of 3 different types made it difficult to figure out which one we liked best. According to the menu, prime rib as 3 different sizes with a side. I’d have a hard time picking out which side I’d like better. We also tried the cheese curds. Some of the best we’d ever had. Far surpasses anything you’d have at your chain eateries.Service was timely and excellent in all ways.They did adhere to current COVID standards. Social distancing and masks not required, nor worn.Once the bug passes, and business picks up, I can see where parking might be an issue. That’ll be yet to be seen.We really look forward to returning for another meal at “The High Horse”.

The food was amazing and Sara at the bar was awesome. As we were leaving, one of the bar patrons called my staff fa99ot for wearing a mask. The High Horse has the best food and friendliest staff! This has become my family’s go to restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! We have never had a bad meal. We love it so much I had to hire them to cater my company holiday party. Everyone loved the food and Reid and Shawna were awesome to work with!

Had a bit of a miscommunication regarding an order and a deal. They had no record of me ever placing the order or the conversation, but they took my word for it and made it on the fly while I had a delicious drink. Wonderful front of house staff and chef was quick and efficient. Food was also absolutely delicious and deserving of a 5 star on its own. Ill absolutely make sure to come back.

The waitress and supervisor (I think) were nice.... food was good when we finally got it. It took almost 45 minutes to get 2 pieces of French toast, 1 pancake, 4 eggs, and 4 pieces of sausage.... we arent from Billings and like to eat local food and try new places, this wasnt exactly a good first impression..... we probably wont go back anytime soon.

Hands down the best catering in town. So easy to work with. Made my wedding stress free. They went above and beyond with their food and bar. I recommend everyone use them for your events.

What a hidden gem. One of the best breakfast places weve visited. Everything is homemade so allow for that but it is DELICIOUS! From the outside it doesnt appear to be much. Everyone on the staff is a joy, very helpful and does their best to welcome you. Definitely a place to give a chance.

If you go to High Horse to dance, you have to try the food too ! The chef really knows how to cook. I highly recommend the special when they have one, its always fantastic! Amazing

8/11/19 Long wait for service and food. Order was wrong. They attempted to correct it. Still not right. Was not fit to eat.. paid and left. Will not return. Had eaten at this same place in July. Food was great. All I can say is they must have a new cook. That cant even cook scrambled eggs.

Had Mothers day brunch. Excellent get. Too much food and had to get a to go box. The great service and food is over the top Excellent

I am so crazy about the Flank Steak salad that I’ve had it three times this month... order the steak med rare and the dressing on the side, best in town! Oh, there’s also usually great live music and the staff is incredibly friendly!!

Probably the best place for Breakfast. I have been here for 7 years and just now discovered this hidden gem. They deliver amazing food for a really good price. The smashed potato was amazing. A must try.

Waited about an hour and a half for our food. Waitress was not consistent. The bartender was more consistent with refilling our drinks. I could tell my food was frozen and not fresh. Tasted like Tyson chicken nuggets to me... which is Gross. Not worth the wait at all. And we were Not impressed and will not come back.

Dinner menu is pretty limited. One hamburger choice. Pasta with peppers and sausage, beef stroganoff are only 2 pasta choices. I do have to say the prime rib was impressive better than steak houses. Due to limited menu choices I opted for an appetizer for dinner which was also good. Add more pasta and sandwich choices and you would have gotten 5 stars. We will try again.

Great customer service. The bartender, Clean, is kind, fun and makes a mean vodka, soda with muddled lime. The DJ played great mixed jams too.

Great breakfast at reasonable price. Pretty staff.I also went to lunch with a friend. She had the Cobb salad and it was good. But we split the Italian poboy.... yummy yummy!

Service and food both are pretty hit or miss. Sometimes the service is excellent and other times the waiter forgets your soup then tries to say that each cup of soup is cooked individually to explain the delay. Sometimes your steak is cooked to the very definition of perfection but the next time it might be charcoal that happens to bleed and moo at you when prodded. Definitely worth a go but some consistency would be appreciated.

High Horse Saloon hosted our first EVER PTA Bingo FUNdraiser for our school! Wow, we can’t thank you guys enough. Your food was delicious, everyone was patient and welcoming to our school, and the turn out was WONDERFUL! If you haven’t been to the High Horse, stop in, you won’t be disappointed.

Not sure who said high priced and small portions, I couldnt finish my meal. Got the Cobb salad and subbed the turkey for flank steak. The steak was a little tougher than what Im used to but it had good flaver. Good selection of craft beers as well. Dani was our waitress and she was very attentive.

My boyfriend and I have gone to the Horse the last 2 Saturdays for breakfast. Each time I have been blown away! You get a lot of food, nice atmosphere, and dynamite service. Our server today always had a smile on her face(whitney was her name). She was waiting on a little girl and her dad behind us and upon the little girls request for a strawberry lemonade (which they do not have) the waitress said she would see what she could do. That is service you do not see any more. I highly recommend this place and will continue to send my friends.
