1st time visit for me, thanks to my Twin. Such a delightful shop. So full of beautiful works of arts. There is so much to see, that you could honestly spend several hours just browsing. Especially considering the owners first shop (small camper) is on display to the public. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable & ready to assist as needed. Would certainly recommend to those who have the talent for quilting, etc.

Love her ideas but her quilt fabric kits had several fabric pieces that were too small for the template. I’m only trying to do it like hers. She could be a little more generous with the fabric portions.

You are one of those talented people you hear about or read about. You have a vision and a gift and now everyone knows who you are. Well let’s say I know we do here in TEXAS. I was one of the first in my group to do colleges. One of my really good friends has Alzheimer’s we met at her house to sew and she loved the process. Well go forward about 2 years and I can not tell you how much this has changed things for her. The cutting out and placement has helped her Alzheimer’s. She has made a dozen or more and I have made 4 or 5. ThanksLinda

This store was awesome! They had it so well staged. There is a little bit of everything for everybody...fabric, wool, embroidery, applique, etc. The owner, Laura Heine, had dozens of patterns she had designed herself. What I really liked was that almost everything that was displayed came with a kit. Loved this store!

Beautiful contemporary fabrics most of them arranged by color although a few lines were grouped together. The quilts displayed were inspiring in both color and design. Laura Heines work is stunning. Ive seen some of her designs finished by others on line but it was so fun to see the originals. Her patterns are available with or without the kits. Not far off I90. I am so happy, and a bit poorer, that we took the time to visit.

I tend to like modern quilts and fabric. I was very inspired by the samples and fabrics. Plenty of traditional fabric selections also. I was greeted when I arrived and found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Was in the shop for 15 min and no one asked if I needed help. When my husband walked in, they asked him if they could help him. Almost left without buying anything. 2nd bad experience, I wont go back.

I just returned from a quilt show where I purchased a quilt pattern for $25.00. It is a wall hanging of Lulu the elephant. I was shocked when I got home and opened the pattern to see that it was nothing more than a large outline of an elephant! The are 2 1/2 pages of instructions on how to fuse your fabric onto the base fabric. If I had opened and looked at the contents of the pattern I would not have wasted my money. I really feel ripped off. My fault....I should have looked more closely.

So much fun just looking. I love this shop.

The designs are great. I just needed something less flowery.
