The service was absolutely terrible. We sat there for 30 minutes as the waitress served every table around us. She even checked on a couple of tables twice and completely ignored our table. The hostess was polite but the waitress was extremely inattentive and unprofessional.

Living in a small town, it was a real treat to visit City Vineyard! Being in Billings for bball tournaments, my daughter and I needed a break from wjustkes, crowds, and cheering! Couldnt ask for a better place to unwind, breathe, and relax....even if yoyre not a wine drinker. Abby greeted us immediately and set the tone for a lovely afternoon! We tasted a few wines, served to us by patient, beautiful Autumn. We spent the rest of our visit quietly sipping wine and a tasty cheese/fruit tray! So Im telling you, ladies in the Billings area, grab a friend and take a breather at City Vineyard...wine or not...definitely the place to unwind! Well be back!
I was so impressed with this establishment for multiple reasons. One their brunch was delicious and the plate presentation was elegant, second the establishment in general was very clean, third our waitress was top notch, and lastly you can tell the owner/management cares about their employees and patrons with their added covid-19 safety procedures. I will most definitely return.

The gal assisting us was friendly and very helpful in picking out bottles of wine for our parents. She was able to tell us some of the items that they regularly purchase so we were sure to deliver bottles that theyd enjoy. She even shrink wrapped our bottles knowing wed have to place them in a cooler. Very thorough, efficient, and friendly. Highly recommend!
Give you one guess what they sell. Give up? Its wine. Im not a heavy drinker but my twin loves the stuff so its a great place to treat him to some popular brands. They also have a ton of wine related gifts if you want to give them the wine glasses or shirts instead of bottles of wine.

We were searching Billings for a quick Thanksgiving lunch before the festivities. City Vineyard was open! We werent too sure.. neither of us felt like playing fancy on this day, but we were starving so we went regardless. So glad we did... ate brunch there this morning and it was just as good as yesterday. Even bought some wine while there. The staff makes this place our new favorite... dont get me wrong, the food is AMAZING.... but the people here make the atmosphere welcoming to those who dont usually end up in places like this.
I love City Vineyard. They are just so helpful and accommodating. I had to set up a whole cheese board and meat board with olives and crackers and they were right there to help. Typically people are pushy but these people werent. They had suggestions they had the answers that I needed I just love them. The girls loved everything. From the wine to the cheese to the meats to the crackers thank you thank you thank you. I love you so much I just join the wine club.

Took an hour to bring out 2 small appetizers for Easter brunch. 3 tables seated after we got here got their food first. Waitress told me coffee was still brewing despite the people on eaither side of us getting coffee. Took 20 minutes just to get water and coffee. We were planning on getting more items but we don’t have another hour to waste here. The food was just okay, but not worth the wait. Waitress offered $5 discount due to the wait but I don’t see myself coming back.

Commuting to Billings from Laurel is tuff stuff. I saw a sign free wine samples. Muggy from the road I was treated very well. The wine cellar is top notch. This is Seattle in Billings. I was blown away by my visit and was able to coordinate my business there also. One patron said FABULOUS! I tend to agree minus one letter.....Fabulouz!!!

Known for wine, but lots of great craft beers. They also have a taproom next to their bottle shop that has draft beer. They have wonderful small plates of food to pair with your wine or beer.
Live out of state. Attended a bridal shower there. Everyone was so kind and the food was delicious. Also love the shop next door.

Restaurant side was good, but the store side charged us for a beer that was sitting on the counter and wasnt ours. We did not notice until we got home that we had a $10 beer that was not ours. I will not be going back.
Wow, first time in from out of town, what a selection! Enjoyed the new Kambucha beer Kyla, was very excited, highly recommend. Staff was great, bar was great, I will be back!
This place is the best. Their old location was good, and was our go-to for a glass or bottle of wine, but the new location is incredible. This is exactly what Billings has needed for a long time. Huge selection of gourmet goods up front including probably the best wine selection in Billings. Weve bought many bottles of here and have had 2 bottles that were turned and both times they graciously switched the bad bottles for new ones without any questions. That is exactly what I would hope for in a wine store that stands behind their product.In back is their lounge with wines by the glass, a ton of curated beer on tap, and some light food. Their cheese selection is ridiculous. Never been disappointed, not even a little. The staff is friendly and the patio is small but comfy.This is definitely one of our absolute favorite spots in Billings!

Found beer in their cooler that was two years old and a year past expiration date. Maybe as primarily wine sellers they are unaware that beer doesnt improve with age?Update: went in 3 weeks later and literally the first beer I pick up was 13 months old, a Bitburger pils. Is this one of the beers you tell your customers will improve with age? The employee who came over to help me was like, oh you again. It seems they truly dont care about freshness dates or no other customers in Billings care. Either way its a sad situation. If your going to charge that much for a beer.. dont you think it should at least be fresh?

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, they have a wine bar where you can enjoy tasting different wine selections and learn how to pair different cheeses. Really enjoyed the times that I stopped in.
