Big Sky Collision Center is the most renowned business I have ever had to use for collision damage. From the best customer service all the way to the astonishingly amazing body and paint work. My vehicle was spotless and 100% brought back to the pre-loss condition after hitting a deer that damaged the whole front end of our brand new Toyota Tundra. I had them install a trailer hitch on my BMW X5 and make repairs to damage that I caused but was willing to live with. The way the hitch had to go in, the rear wrap-around plastic needed to be replaced. The job was expensive, but fully justified and they performed admirably. The kept me fully informed. Yes, this is the place to go for body work.

They kept my vehicle for a month before even beginning repairs or ordering parts. They sent insurance requests to the wrong place and refused to do a video walk through of the estimate with my insurance company to speed up the claim process. After a month, they decided to pay for a rental vehicle for us until the repairs are completed which is the only reason that I am rating 2-stars instead of one. We will NOT be using this repair shop again and would not recommend anyone else use them either.

Here is a timeline regarding my experience with them:1. April 9th: I dropped my 2018 car off at Big Sky Collision (now Raisin Auto Body) to be repaired. The insurance agency estimated a turn around time of 2-4 days to repair the car.2. May 14th: I picked up the car. There was some serious flaws with the repair (eg-unpainted areas on the hood, body trim that was haphazardly stuck on top of the clear paint protection film).3. May 24th: I drop the car back off for them to fix the problems with the original repair.4. May 26th: I got a call from Big Sky Collision. They told me that the car no longer starts, so they took it to the dealership in town. I’ve never had a mechanical problem with this car before.5. May 31st: I got a call from Big Sky Collision. They told me that the dealership had to order a part for my car, and that it is under the new-car warranty.6. Week of June 14th: My car was finally completed after over 2 months. The quality of the repair was acceptable. When I picked up the car, there was no service recovery or even an apology.

My Tesla looks perfect now. Its reassuring to work with a shop thats certified by Tesla. They handled everything. I just dropped off the car, hopped in the rental that they arranged, and then picked it up the next day looking like it never had a problem. If I ever need any other body work done on my car, Ill go straight to Big Sky.

A truly awesome customer service experience and top quality workmanship. Big Sky Collision went well above and beyond with my vehicle repair and working with the insurance company of the liable party. Once all the body work and wheel repair were finished, I had trouble with getting the insurance company to have my vehicle assessed by a mechanic which I felt was necessary as there was a rubbing noise when I turned the wheel. BSCC then went out of their way to pay to have it taken to the dealer shop. The issue was resolved without further cost to myself. My vehicle came back looking remarkable inside and out. I want to say thank you to all of the kind staff at BSCC who insured I was taken care of every step of the way.

I waited over a month to get my car in. I was so surprised to see that my car was washed and even the interior was cleaned for me. I had just taken a Thanksgiving trip 4000 miles with kids so it was in need of a cleaning. I appreciate that so much. It did take longer than they told me, Tuesday instead of Friday. I would have appreciated a bit more communication from them, Enterprise rentals informed me that the repairs would take longer rather than big sky.Update: these guys went from 4 star to 5star after they reached out to me for constructive criticism and a promise to get it 5 star correct next time!!

Had to take my Jeep in for some repairs after the hail storm we had in August and got it back today after two weeks! Wasn’t expecting it to be done until 4/6 but they finished up a little early and I couldn’t be happier with how it looks! Great communication, calling/texting with an update almost everyday. I had a great experience at Big Sky Collision Center. I had backed into a cement parking column in a parking garage and slightly scratched my car. The damage looked worse than it was due to all of the column colored paint on my car.I went to Big Sky Collision Center because they were well reviewed by Google Reviews. I walked in and asked the secretary if there was anyone who could look at my car really quick and just tell me how I could best fix it myself. She said I would need to schedule an estimate. At this point, Bryan, the Shop Manager came out of his office and said he would be happy to take a look at my car.We went out to my car and he looked at the damage. He then said he would be back in a second. He began wiping my car with some solution (later he told me it was paint thinner) and a cloth and the cement colored paint magically disappeared from my car. What remained was a small half inch area where the column had taken off all my cars paint down to the bare metal. He told me how to fix this on my own very inexpensively.When we were all done, I asked him how much I owed him for his time and effort. He said nothing at all, and that he was just happy to help. Later that day, I had a question about some of the instructions he had given me so I went back to Big Sky Collision Center and he talked with me again.If this is the kind of treatment Big Sky Collision Center gives a guy off the street looking for advice, I can only imagine how helpful they would be if your car was being worked on by them. Their shop is clean and professional and their employees are a joy to work with, both knowledgeable and friendly. I can not thank Bryan enough for his assistance and instructions.When I have an accident that requires body work, I know exactly where I will go and who I will ask for. I will be heading straight to Big Sky Collision Center and asking to speak with Bryan.

I needed to get a small scuff removed quickly before trading in my truck. They got me in same day, drove me to work and picked me back up, did a great job on black paint, and charged a very fair price for the work---they even hand washed it for me! I have owned over 55 cars and worked with many body shops over the years, they really impressed me. Office staff is super friendly and attentive, Brian the estimator was great too. Great customer service and friendly staff. Dropped my car off for a detailing and had an issue with my rear lights not working - they called me and offered to repair at no charge! My car looks great after the detailing although I would rate a ‘B’ on the interior - still some lint in the middle console, some gunk in one of my cup holders and some remnants of the white cloth they used to clean my dash.

Big Sky Collision Center has held my confidence sins the mid-1980s. They have been around for many years and continue to do fantastic work. I miss seeing Matt around the shop though it appears that the standard of operation has not changed. Good job guys

The actual work they did was great and worthy of a 5 star rating, but the man who did the estimate for me and told me that I could show up at 1:00 pm and be done by the end of the day did not communicate that to the people who were doing the work. The day of the appointment when I thought I could drive myself, stay in their waiting room, then drive home with a fixed car, I got a call mid morning telling me that I was supposed to be there that morning at 8:00 and that they needed to keep my car overnight to complete the work. That meant I needed someone to help me come home and get there two days running. This was the week before Christmas and I didn’t have anyone to help shuttle me. I put the repair off until January when I could make those types of arrangements. I had arranged my whole week around only needing a half day to complete this small repair. I was furious and that has resulted in this lower rating.

I recently took my Jeep in to have a new bumper installed. I wasnt real excited about being carless, and wasnt sure what to expect in general. Its behind me now, and I can say that Ive never been treated so well, or with more respect at an auto shop of any kind. These guys were genuinely glad I was their customer. It was a speedy process, and I was kept in the know through the entirety. Barry, David D. And Brian are all incredible gentleman who made it a pleasant experience. Also, when I picked up my car it was immaculate. These guys detailed the heck out of it; like Ive literally never cleaned my car that well. I really wasnt expecting that. I stopped by Big Sky Collision Center when I found a scuff on the rear door of my brand new 4Runner. I had taken it somewhere else (I won’t mention where) the day before and they told me it was scratched down to the metal and I would need a body shop to repair the damage. I took my 2014 Ram to Big Sky Collision for hail damage repair, which included paintless repair, broken mirror, broken tail lights, broken bed light and the entire roof had to be removed and replaced. Because of the extent of the damage it took a while to get the repairs completed though not an unreasonable amount of time given the scope of the repairs. It was well worth the wait. Ive had the truck back for 5 days now and despite the required disassembly of the cab I cant tell it was ever done....except that there are no longer dents all over the truck.The entire process was seamless and as painless as something like this can be. I hope it never comes to it again but if so I will definitely use Big Sky Collision in the future.

My brand new car was hit by a drunk driver. My rear passenger door would not shut so I had to tie two door handles together. I took my car to five different places to get an estimate. The customer service of Big Sky Collision Center is incredible and unmatched. They are the only body shop that actually got down and felt everything that was wrong instead of saying that all I needed was a new door when in fact my car needed a lot more work than just a new door. They offered to take it in back to get my door to shut so I could at least drive safely around town until I got the approval from my insurance to schedule the appointment. They also have a scan that can show every single thing that was damaged during the accident to get it as close to before the accident as possible. Seeing as this is a new car, this was very important to me. They do an incredible job of keeping you up-to-date of the progress with vehicle and all of my anxiety was completely put to ease. I have a brand-new car again and I am so glad that I took it here. I would recommend big sky collision center to anyone and everyone. They truly go above and beyond. Thank you. :)

We chose Big Sky because of the reviews. We are not from Montana so weren’t really sure who to go with. The body work done on the truck was good. The rest, not so much. I was quoted one price and charged more at the end for my out of pocket cost. I was told a day for finalization (which had them at a MONTH of having the vehicle which blew my mind), and it wasn’t done that Friday, it was the following Monday at 5 pm. I was told it was being detailed and the detail job on the truck wasn’t even close to being great, so I’m not sure why it took all day Monday to leave bug splatters, finger prints, and was residue all over the truck.I feel the actual body work was good (though we’ve not had it back long so we will see). The communication wasn’t great. I felt like I was always chasing after an update on my vehicle. Overall, due to the misquote of the price, the extra day tacked on, and the level of which the detail was present (seemed very amateurish, not something that should have held up us receiving our vehicle by 8 hrs), I would not recommend to friends.*edited to add, and change to a 1 star. The body work turned out to be not so great. They put something back to the gas tank (the spot where you stick the gas nozzle in, it’s apparently sideways or upside down, because it now takes 15 mins to fill the truck up). They also apparently had opened the toolbox and left it open and exposed because water had gotten into the toolbox and soaked a few of my husband’s trade books, which were unscathed before we left the truck at big sky.So I call them to fix the thing on the gas tank. They just don’t seem to grasp that people work, during the week, and THEY aren’t open on the weekends, past 5:30, or even past 12 on Friday. So I’m going to either have to have my husband take off work to take our only vehicle to the shop (he’s working an hour and a half away so it’s not just a swing by the shop real fast deal) or hire yet ANOTHER body shop to fix their mistakes.EDIT: The manager fixed the problem, and rectified with a rental car to get my husband from a to b while they fixed it. I still feel they should have fixed it correctly to begin with, BUT, at least it was fixed.

Wow! What a great experience! I had hail damage on my truck which requires a lot of repair work. I honestly only used Big Sky Collision Center because my insurance company (USAA) was using their facility to do their claims adjustments. I figured that USAA would probably communicate with them well since they already had a connection. Anyway, I brought the truck to them and dropped the keys off in the Dropbox after hours. I never spoke to anyone about anything that was to be done other than a scheduled drop off and an approximate completion timeframe. I received phone calls and text messages throughout the process that kept me up to date with the progress. They gave me a completion date and it was done perfectly on time. This isn’t even what made this experience so amazing.I had a small dent in my tailgate that was not due to hail. I was asked about it by USAA and I told them that it was not a repair for this claim. Well, when I picked up my truck, not only had they done a spectacular job of removing every single ding on my truck, but they also repaired the dent in the tailgate. I was astounded! Upon further inspection, I found that the dent removal process had left the paint slightly cracked and I didn’t want to be rude, since they fixed it without me asking. However, I was concerned that the cracked paint would eventually lead to pealing and then rusting. Well I showed it to their staff and they immediately said “we’re going to make it right”. They took my tailgate off and I left it with them. Knowing that I work out of town, and that I would be leaving in four days, they made my tailgate a priority. 24 hours later I get a call saying that my tailgate will be done tomorrow, and that they were just waiting on new emblems. The next day, right at the time they said they would be calling me, they called to tell me that it was ready for pickup. They put the tailgate back on and it was absolutely perfect! This was a repair that they had tried to fix without being asked, and when it wasn’t perfect, they made it right. If I ever need body work done again, I will go back to them without a doubt.

Wow!! Where do I begin?! My wife and I were in an accident on September 5, 2017 in the Billings area. My wife and I were in preparation for our move to Alaska...we were to leave on the 13 of the same month. Another example of a poor Billings driver, hit us head-on, on the drivers side of my brand new 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. By the time his vehicle came to a stop, he had destroyed the drivers side...from the front to the back! Needless to say, I wasnt happy. After I watched my custom truck (in progress) carried away on the back of a flatbed tow truck, I knew that the only collision center I could trust (based upon their stellar reputation), was Big Sky Collision Center. The day after the wreck, I went to meet the amazing staff and discuss my options; was it going to be totaled? I was treated with great kindness and respect by all that I encountered. Barry and Kendra were just a couple of the staff that I visited with that first day. They reassured me that they would handle every detail. So, after a little over a month, I flew back to Billings to pick up my finished truck. Wow...they had done an unbelievable job! It looked brand-new. Through all of this process, I cant thank every single person that was involved in the restoration enough, however, the two most extraordinary of all, were Kendra and Chad! Kendra was my constant contact person, and she was caring and professional beyond anything that a customer could hope to find in a customer care professional. Chad continually walked me through the process of the restoration and is by far the most knowledgeable professional Ive ever seen in his field. When all of the work at Big Sky was completed, Kendra and Chad...and many others, made sure that the Tacoma was shuffled around Billings to finish all the custom work that I had begun before the accident. They went WAY above and beyond for me; as a customer theyd never met prior to that first day. Well, I could keep writing accolades for Big Sky Collision and all of its amazing crew, but I probably better stop. Easy and seamless. Im very pleased with the work and excellent customer service.

They gave us the run around for weeks. Kept saying they were waiting on insurance. When I talked to issuance they were just waiting for big sky to set up an appointment. Half the time didnt even answer their phone. 3 weeks into dealing with them they hadnt even ordered parts yet.

I wanted to share my experience with Big Sky Collision! I love these people! They took my terrible situation and turned it right around. I was rear-ended for the second time in 1.5 years, this time I had the option of getting my car fixed. My auto insurance steered me to Archie Cochrane Ford for the body work. I had the worst experience with the adjustor that was assigned to my claim. I quickly contacted my attorney who told me I needed to go get a second opinion, so I took my car to Big Sky Collision (where I had gone the last time I was rear-ended). Kendra, Chad, Barry, Matthew, and a few others I am mostly likely forgetting, took great care of me! They went the extra mile and made sure my car was fixed to industry standards, they event went as far as having the vendor send over pictures to ensure my safety! The bid from Archie was about $1,900 for the damages. The actual work that was completed at Big Sky Collision was close to $6,000.Make sure you are fully informed people, YOU DONT HAVE TO GO WHERE YOUR INSURANCE STEERS YOU TO GO! Get a second opinion! If I hadnt went in for a second opinion, my car would not have been fixed properly.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BIG SKY COLLISION! They were amazing, trust me!
