We had an excellent experience here! I had a clogged vacuum with to my surprise was a sock but they got it out super quick and free of charge! They were super nice and very fast and efficient! I would absolutely reccomend them and go there again for any vacuum needs!

Awesome store, products and service. The folks are very nice, honest and capable . Tonight they stayed open past closing time so I could get there with my vacuum, as I was coming from 100 miles away; then they fixed it and sent me on my way at a very reasonable price.My radiance riccar is still doing a great job.

My husband was in recently to get vacuum bags and a vacuum belt. Or so he thought. He got the bags okay, but the employee, Brent, helped him understand he didn’t need to replace the belt on our particular vacuum. My husband left happy and better informed. So glad Brent cared more about customer service and honesty than making more of a sale.

The staff is so helpful at this place. The products are American made, come with excellent warranties. The vacuum we bought worked for 3 years straight with no servicing (although you can have it serviced for free we were just lazy and abused it pretty hard with 3 dogs). We went in and had it serviced for free, it only took 10 minutes and its working like new again. I highly recommend this place.

I purchased a very expensive vacuum from one of Stuarts employees/installers. Since I live in a small 1B apartment, I dont use it all that often. Now, to my dismay, it is not functioning properly. I contacted the man I bought it from more than 7 months ago but nothing has been done. I really dont know who to blame but it should have been replaced or my money refunded. I know the company is very nice but the installer, Charles Clarke apparently isnt!

This is a family owned and operated business. The owners are kind, honest, hard working people that are all about giving you the best deal your budget can afford. New or refurbished . They not only sell vacuums but also sell vacuum parts, bags for almost any make and carpet cleaners. Need a vacuum, this is where you need to go!

I have always had great experiences here. The staff is always helpful in helping me figure out the vacuum bags I need (because I always forget) and recommending products(not pushy, just when I ask). I just took my vacuum in to get the belt replaced. I will update review when finished.

Tom and Sandy are two of the most knowledgeable professionals I have come across. They helped my elderly out mother a number of times changing bags belts and simple little things she couldnt do anymore. They could have charged and she would have paid. But her smile and thanks were always enough.

I have dealt with Stuarts over the past 5 years and have nothing but good to say about them. They are always full of great information that I can rely on. I have never once had an issue with anything that they have told me. I have used both Wet and Dry cleaning methods (Both of which Stuarts sells) and each have their own application. Most stains will NOT be cleaned with Dry cleaning, it is only for maintenance. Wet cleaning is what you really need to do to keep your carpets clean in depth.

The younger vacuum technician that works here must really hate his life. He is very rude. Perhaps he can get away with it because he is related to the owner?? I dont know. But he needs an attitude adjustment from the owners. Other than him, these people are wonderful and very helpful.Update:Indeed you were there the last time I took the vacuum in to be repaired for the 3rd time and in that instance the tech was tolerable, probably because you were standing there and in ear shot. So what you are saying can indeed be seen as him being frustrated and wanting to be helpful right away.With that said, I am not an unfair person. I like everyone else that works there. I have always been treated with respect from everyone there as I stated in my review, except the young tech, and its not only been myself but he was rude to my employee who dropped the vacuum off in the first place.After the initial drop off, I received a call one week after it was dropped off asking me when I bought the vacuum. I was told because it was purchased within the last 6 months, your business would give me a discount for fixing it(very nice. Thank you). I waited another 2 weeks without hearing a word. I called to see how the progress was and they couldnt find the vacuum. Once they found it they said they were still waiting on the part and the very next morning I got a call saying it was fixed. I picked it up, brought it to work and left it for my night crew to use. When my employee went to vacuum the store, it wouldnt turn on. I brought the vacuum back and the young tech was rude, and yes frustrated. He said whats wrong and I said I dont know, it just doesnt turn on. He said, well what did you do to it? It worked when it left here(in a very condescending tone) . I said nothing (now on the defense). I said I took it to work, my employee went to use it and it wouldnt turn on. After looking at it, He said we pulled the cord out of the back. Im not sure how beings it wouldnt start in the first place. So he fixed that and sent me on my way with it. I dropped it off at work and left. A few hours later I get a call from my employee telling me the vacuum still doesnt work. That the kick start wont click so it will start. Then I got a call back saying he pushed really hard and it came one and was able to use the vacuum. Next day my other employee went to vacuum the floor. I told him he has to push the start down hard to start it. He called and said it ran for about 10 feet and shut off. Thats the third time I brought the vacuum in. I was actually glad you were around so the tech had to be nice. That was when he had to keep it over night.I hope you have a talk with the guy and explain to him how important it is to be nice to customers as you probably depend on repeat business. I didnt write this review to damage your business. I wrote it so people who come in can be aware of the techs attitude.2nd UPDATE:I had to take the vacuum in for a 4th time to be fixed and the young tech was very pleasant to deal with. I left the vacuum and they had it fixed within an hour. Thank you. That is the service Stuarts house of vacuum is known for. And illI change my star rating to reflect the great service.

My vacuum is a Riccar that I bought from Stuarts, and Ive had it for years without any problems, except those Ive inflicted on myself. Once I had a bag explode on me because I hadnt changed it on time, but after cleaning it out, the Riccar continued to operate beautifully. Wont do that again. I also appreciate the select group of products like the OKeeffes Skin Repair lotion. Works great on itchy, dry skin and is the first product Ive found that had no scent. The people in the store are always glad to help if you have a question.

The quote for a central vac and install was fairly accurate and to date, the machine has been working as expected. I am pleased with the sales staff. The Installer however, is a complete JOKE! A supposed contractor and not an employee, only showed up on Sundays when no other contractors were at the job site. He installed his material in the only place available reserved in the joists for HVAC, so when HVAC came to install they had to cut his material out. Since then, the vac installer has sent nasty letters, texts and phone calls to the HVAC contractor and me the homeowner, trying to collect extra charges for his extra labor due to his own lack of communication/coordination with other contractors. Upon his final install, he did not bring all of the material as promised and said the store was out of stock. I went to the store THE NEXT DAY and they had plenty, so they gave me what I paid for. He was either playing games, trying to hold material hostage for extra payment or just plain forgot to bring the material for the job. Either way, he is arrogant and has NO people skills. Once actually finished he said the total would be slightly higher than the estimate but failed to provide an invoice. After several days I paid the estimate total as that was all I could provide to the bank for the construction loan. His nasty letter to me should have been an embarrassment for him. The balance was paid as soon as I received a proper invoice. For this sole reason of this contractor I would never recommend this company for a central vac install.

Very nice vacuums and over all i was satisfied. they went out of their way in helping me order parts for my shop-vac and helping me repair it by finding me a new owners manual and even turned me on to some new Eco friendly filters. i work as a custodial technician in the advanced sanitation industry for Princeton. and of the 40 years of my fruitful career never have i been to a better vacuum and cyclone cleaner dealership. The only reason i gave four stars instead of five is because the blonde lady in the front wouldnt stop staring at me which i thought was unprofessional. the rest of the staff however was very kind and helpful. if you need a vacuum go to this place but seriously stay away from the blonde lady.

So I have a Hoover wind tunnel vacuum cleaner (have had it for at least 5 years and have had no trouble with it at all) and the switch between hard floor and carpet stopped working. We took it up to Stuarts House of Vacuums today and was waited on by the rudest, most obnoxious man. First off he told me that to repair it would be more than the cheap, Chinese made vacuum was no doubt worth. I told him I really liked it, in fact I liked it better than the Oreck that I had and better than the Riccar one that we had at the office, and that I would really at least like an estimate of how much it would cost to get it fixed. He took the plate off the bottom and proceeded to pick the vacuum apart - cheap this, cheap that, $8.00 here, $20.00 here - whats the point in fixing it - its all plastic he says. That made ME angry - after all, I was the customer. I said, well this vacuum has held up a lot longer and done a much better job than the other two that I mentioned. He replies thats a slap in my face - you come in here with a cheap vacuum and insult the products that we sell .... well, if you know me at all you know the conversation didnt go well after that ...... Never will I go to Stuarts House of Vacuums again --- insulted? I was insulted the minute I walked in the door by him ---- JERK! Well, off to Costco tomorrow to buy another cheap vacuum ... definitely not one from Stuarts House of Vacuums ---EVER!

Ran into Riccar vaccum by accident. A family friend told my husband this vacuum didnt work, if he could fix it, he could have it. Turns out all he needed was a belt.I had to Google Stuarts House of Vacuums for an address, as were not too familiar with Billings. (Lived here a little over a year)We got to the store, the man who waited on us sold a belt didnt charge for the vacuum bags we asked for. Super customer service!True story and thank you.

CleaningMan seems to have an axe to grind, which is unfortunate. No matter how hard a retailer tries to educate his/her customers, there are going to be a few customers who cant follow directions. Stuarts would not still be in business if they didnt provide a quality product and superior service, or if their machines actually damaged peoples carpetes. CleaningMans comments about pricing are way off base as well.
