Every time I come in here no one offers to help me find anything. The last time I came I interrupted some workers chit chatting and asked for help. The guy wasnt really nice. Today, another customer helped me, but I decided just to leave. Im headed to ACE...lets see how they act.***Update- Well, ACE was better, but not great. The lower thermostat in the water heater went out. They had what I needed in stock. I switched out thermostat and voila, we had hot water again. Great customer service as well.

Just went in there to buy nuts and bolts 16 each of about five different things for some steps we are building. Got to the cash register and the lady said we are going to need a price and quantity and she tried to hand my husband a pen. And he politely told her “ma’am I don’t work here”. That’s the second time that’s happened. They really should get with the program and either have a book for the cashiers to look things up or put pens on the aisle, or maybe just charge by the weight. Third time we’ve had to walk out because of Bad cashiers, and terrible customer service. He told them again ….we would just go to tractor supply.

Love this store I can always count on one of employees to help me figure something out and if they dont know they get someone who does!!

Clean well organized and friendly. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for with very little effort, even though they were random bits of hardware.

I met an associate named John while he was stocking the plumbing parts, he was very helpful and friendly.I was amazed at the large variety of building supplies and household appliances in stock. Very nice store. I plan to be doing a large amount of business with them in the future.

Being from San Antonio I have never used Higginbotham Brothers before… I’ve been here a couple times now and they’ve been extremely friendly and very very helpful… and discounts for vets and leo’s! Will be returning often.

Amanda assistant manager just looked at me and walked away. Thank god a man was there. Women dont belong as employees in a hardware store.

Very difficult to find the products I was looking for. The store is laid out poorly, and mislabeled. That wouldnt be a huge problem, but there are also almost no employees on the floor to direct people to find supplies.

Awesome place and people, would call before heading up if you need a specific part makes it easier

Many many thanks to Mr. John, the pipe to my septic tank was blocked and the plumber came out and dug the hole and cut the line and then they never came back its been a week. I went to the store and Mr. John hooked me up with the right stuff to fix it myself and I did it. Works perfect. He even gave me a number to a good plumber if I ever have trouble again. Thank you, thank you. If I knew what you liked to eat I would make you something and bring it up to the store.

Great friendly staff, some items over priced but some cheaper. My first choice in town.

Honestly the store is rather disorganized and I can rarely find anyone to help find anything. I usually just get pointed in a direction, told its in the back of the store, or something in that general line. And when you can actually get an employee to show you where an item is, its as if its the most difficult task in the world for them the actually help a customer. This is from many, many trips to this store, as its the only real hardware store in my town.The warehouse employees are excellent however, always willing to help load wood or materials.Example being: Went in today looking for plexiglass, and after looking for about 15 minutes I tried asking, only got pointed to a genral area of the store and told over there. Of which I had already looked where he was pointing. I know its possible they were out of stock, but it was impossible to tell with how some of the isles are just impossibly disorganized. It was a bit busy, but I had patiently waited in line to get some help. Ended up walking out after a total of 45 minutes of searcing or waiting. Will be buying plexiglass online.

No one can beat their prices and theyre trained professionals. Dont take my word for it . Go see for yourself.

Awesome service! The doors were locked and i was too late. I had to have some tile adhesive desperately! One of the employees opened the door and let me come in and get what i needed at the last minute. SO grateful for the hospitality and friendly service that was offered even after hours.

Staff could be friendlier, but usually ok service. Good selection.

The owners & staff are both friendly and helpful but their prices appear to be a little steep. I shop there when l need it now. Otherwise l wait, if possible, and shop elsewhere.

The staff was very helpful in finding the items we need everyone was very polite the only downside which is happening so many places now is the wait in line but it was a quite subdued line people still being friendly but cautious😀

Went there yesterday midmorning to get a gallon of paint, although there was only one other customer in the store, i was told i would just have to wait a minute while the woman that works in paint finished gossiping. after five minutes standing there listening to gossip i turned around and left. Went across the street to Ace hardware where they had many customers, but an employee asked to help me within ten seconds, went directly to the paint department, found what i wanted and i was out of there in three minutes. Now thats good service! Ive always gotten good service when getting lumber and such at higgis, but evidently they dont hold the women inside to the same standards.

Pulled into parking lot 5 min till 6pm and one of the women at the register SPRINTED to the doors and locked the entrance door flipped the open sign and smiled .I guess u get service with a smile .I wish we could get that prompt service when looking for anything inside the store .still had enough time to get back into my vehicle and drive across to ace hardware and purchase the items I needed pretty sad customer service never had any issues in lumber department.but oh well

Has most things you would expect at a smaller hardware store in a small town. No frills but had what you need usually.

Everything was great the staff was on top of everything.

You just dont get service like this at Lowes or Home Depot
