I needed a new tat shop after my last artist quit. I’ve been getting ink for the better part of 20 years. This might be my favorite shop yet. Everyone was professional and nice. Jesse did my ink. I have no artistic skills, I gave him an idea and let him roll with it. Came out better than I could have expected. I look forward to starting my next sleeve at this shop and encourage others to get a consult for their ink needs.Lastly they sell vitalitree tattoo salve which works wonders on healing. Only ever used A&D previously.

I got my first tattoo here and it was realitively quick, the employees and artist were friendly and helpful and pointed me in the right direction.

I have gotten a total of 5 piercings and 2 tattoos done here between my girlfriend and I and theyre always so professional and very good at what they do.

Got my helix pierced yesterday and aabsolutely love it. The guy did awesome and the place looks amazing. However, I forgot to ask him if you should turn it? Ive heard mixed things, but would rather ask a professional.

This place always gives me a wonderful experience. Kody has done very impressive piercings of mine, and Jesse has done my favourite beetle tattoo. Everyone is professional and so personable.

Every artist will blow your mind. Theyre all incredibly talented and they all do great work for reasonable prices. I dont know the piercers well, the last one I had work done from did good work and they usually vet and train their piercers well and take it very seriously. Everyone themselves is very personable and friendly and the shop is sick, the atmosphere is awesome inside. I highly recommend it as the BEST shop in town and central/western Michigan for anyone looking to get a tattoo or piercing.

I got my ears pierced for the 1st time there and everyone was very nice. The guy who pierced my ears (I dont remember his name) made sure to reassure me that I was safe and that it was going to be okay. It was very clean and I would 100% go back!

Seriously best place ever! Went here today after a really not so good piercing place last night. I was bleeding and in a lot of pain... These 2 (Kasey) and her student were so kind and helpful and got me to stop bleeding and change the jewelery to internally threaded bars!!!!! I will definitely be going back her for all future piercings!!!!!If your piercing place looks shady AF... Leave immediately and come here! I promise you will not regret it!!! I am regretting not coming here first! Dont be like me!

I went and got my bellybutton pierced today they were super nice and respectful and the guy that did it asked if he wanted tonvount to 3 or just do it. But overall the pain level was a 4/10 thank you guys.

I have been tattooed here a couple times and love the staff and the environment. First tattoo was done by Sonya and was everything I hoped for. Second was done by Dennis (who thankfully is no longer with them) and once I realized the mistakes made Sonya took me in and fixed it. She fixed it up so beautifully! All of the artist here take great pride in their work which is why this will be the only place we go and recommend.

Amazing. I can not say enough nice things about the staff. Sonya did my cover up tattoo and it is phenomenal. Super clean store, beautiful artwork and everyone was very friendly. This is not a place you can walk in off the street and get a tattoo that minute but it is seriously worth the wait.

I got my tattoo done about a year ago. It was my first tattoo and the apprentice Kody worked with me to get it just right! I really like the whole vibe of this place and I’m definitely going to be choosing them for any future piercings or tats!

Love this place! The only tattoo shop I trust. Theyre sanitary and very professional. Prices are really good and lots of jewelry to choose from. Wednesdays are buy 1 piercing get 1 free. All the staff are really cool, funny, gentle and patient with you.

Sonya Grennell is THE tattoo artist in Michigan. Shes got a bit of a waiting list and it is beyond worth it. She is an incredible artist. Living in Detroit now, Ill still be making the 3 hour drive for Sonyas magic. And BTW, the rest of the artists there are amazing as well.

Had Sonya do my nose piercing a few years back (2) and she did a great job! I bought two studs (a titanium and a cheaper one) and thanks to my extreme allergy to most metals, when i had the cheaper stud in for a few weeks and then took it out, it made my hole close up within 3 hours of having it pierced for nine months! Luckily, I called them and went in and they re-did it for FREE! i was so happy that they did it!also had a small Jesus fish done on my upper right back done by Dennis, although sadly, he no longer works at Lighttouch.hoping to get a dragon tattoo with my sons name done in a few weeks!

The hours suck! I tried going there to buy body jewelry about 45 minutes before closing and they were already closed... Your hours say 12pm to 8pm, would be amazing it that was true. Ive had some great work done there but this time thing is huge turn off. You are losing a ton of business this way, not to mention the dude that was in there who seen me come to the door. I understand no body wants to be at work but this should be a professional establishment. Must be a nice place to work tho you get to go home early... tisk tisk...

I love the honesty in the workers and how they made me feel comfortable.

Went in yesterday during their piercing special to get a couple piercings. Im a piercing virgin and have a horrible needle phobia, but I wanted something so badly. I called omw there from work and they were able to answer all my questions, and even more when I got there. They were open and honest and made me comfortable while waiting (comfy tattoo chairs and Netflix), and I appreciated the honesty and lack of sugar coating their answers. They walked me thru everything and made sure I was satisfied. They even had 2 piercers do mine at the same time, which was so accommodating and wonderful of them. Ill def be back, what a great crew!

Id give them 0 stars if I could. I asked about a tattoo very nicely, and they were EXTREMELY rude about it, told me they couldnt give me a tattoo that was upside down, although that was what I wanted, because I wanted the words to face me. Even though I have another tattoo with a letter that is facing me. They told me they wouldnt do it, which is fine, but they were being extremely disrespectful about it. I posted a review on their Facebook page and then they proceeded to block me, like children. I will continue going down to Grand Rapids to get my piercings and tattoos done, and I will not talk positively about this place. So ridiculous.

Stopped in this evening to have my daughters ears, and my nostril pierced. My five-year-olds piercing went off without a hitch! Kasey and Kody did a phenomenal job! I highly recommend them for childrens piercing! My nose piercing is flawless. Mad props to Kasey for her proffesional and positive vibes! Ive only met two of the Lighttouch crew, but I can they are a creative, passionate bunch!

Im 15 and got my nose pierced here by janae and she did such a great job! the place was clean and very cool and i was extremely happy with the prices opposed to other places ive looked at in East Lansing. its a fast piercing and she did it fast but really good. i had no problems during or after! id definetly do back!!
