I typically frequent the Bloomfield location but I stop here when I’m in the area. The hot bar usually has some decent clearance vegan/vegetarian to-go meals on manager’s special which I appreciate. I deducted two stars because for a health food store I think management should take better precaution in properly covering the food bar items, we are not yet out of a pandemic and I wouldn’t feel safe serving myself items from the salad bar that have likely been coughed/sneezed/breathed on. Hopefully management does the right thing and covers these items in the future for the safety of everyone!

Nice slow store, out of the way, lots of unusual items for people with allergies - excellent selection. Love the coupons but have to use them on a specific day. Never bought an expired item even on accident. Much more effective for vitamins and the basics than a run to the big chain store, except for produce which means Im headed to the big chain, but otherwise fairly quaint. Not so scented that I cant walk in but not exactly fragrance free either. Could use less scented cleaning chemicals, if I had a gripe. Have to shower after shopping here to get the smell off. No asthma attack yet though. Wont give medical advice regarding vitamins - which will require you to read up prior to shopping.

As a long time member who has been to at least 6 different better health stores, this location is terrible. The hot bar is really spotty. They rarely have the vegan options that are on their menu, and the employees are often rude and unaccommodating. Occasionally a nice one is willing to actually make something off the menu if you buy the supplies at the grocery store.

The pickup went very smoothly we notified them through the system we were there and in a few minutes they brought out our groceries very good

The store looked clean, everything neat, less selection of produce than in other places, some fruit didn’t look ripe, but the main reason for me to never come back to this store is that they don’t understand that their policy doesn’t trump the law and refusing service to a person with a medical exemption is discrimination. Potentially a law suit.There are many great options to shop for food and supplements without harassment and discrimination...this store lost a customer (probably a few) and at least thousands of dollars in profit.

I was in this location yesterday, with the cashier looking up my membership name since my husband and I have been a customer there and at the Southfield/Beverly Hills locations for years, actually decades, and she would not give me the discount without the coupon with an over $80 purchase. Also last week I asked about what Magnesium sources do they have and asked which products have the most absorbable form of Magnesium, and the employee answered that youd have to read all of the products labels in order to find out! Really? A previous employee I had encountered at this location told me the same thing, and they were both new/newer employees. I called the Beverly Hills location and told the Manager there, and they said they are more flexible than that there. Since this is the 3rd time Ive had an issue here in Livonia, I will not go to this location again.

Friendly employees and the store layout was nice and organized. They had the vitamins we needed in stock which were hard to find anywhere else.

Wow the salad bar.!! I walked in around 11:30 this morning and couldn’t believe what I was looking at. Everything was either wilted or had a weird dried out crust on it. Obviously it was what was left over from the day before. But how could the employee responsible not notice the garbanzo beans were old, the shredded salmon (I think that’s what it was) had totally dried out, the lettuce was shriveled up... I did buy a bottle of Annie’s salad dressing that other grocery stores stopped selling a long time ago—I thought they had quit making it. Got home and checked the expiration: 14 Dec 2018. I won’t be going back.

Customer service at this store has been horrible.The cashier is loud and not customer service friendly. I’m never going back again after over 5 years of shopping there! Novi will be my new home store!!!

The employee that prepares the food is always super nice and she always has a smile on her face. I dont know how far this review will go but I do know shes awesome! Thank you for always greeting your customers with a smile!

Love Better Health Markets no doubt. However, no Rosemary Essential Oil again at this location.

This Better Health is my favorite location, the STAFF IS EXTRA FRIENDLY, the cashiers go the extra mile to order an item if they are out of stock. My favorite BETTER HEALTH by far.

Normally I shop where because its close and the selection is okay. Customer service is okay sometimes. However. I called the other day to check if something was in stock and they kept me on hold for five minutes the first time. I hung up and Called back and was put on hold for another five minutes for someone to come on, say hello one time and then hang up. Not sure what was going on but needless to say I went to another competitor store instead. Wont be going back.

Very good store to shop in, prices are not that high and the service was excellent and had a cashier, Melissa that was excellent too.

The employees are super nice, and the store managers are great!

I use to love shopping here when it was at the old location. Customer service has really went down hill. Only person could assist me was the manager I recognized from the old location who was knew about health products. He is too busy here and I could not not really get any assistances . This is unbeliever. I am considering not coming here ever again. If I so much walked into Natural Path on 9 mile and Woodward in Ferndale within minutes an expert comes and asks If I need any help.. Dont expect that here. Cashiers are nice but they are clueless as for as recommendation.

This place is notorious for carrying expired food. I’ve given up on it after encountering this problem on several occasions.

Rude employees!!!. I have two options continue to shop where I a treated with disdain or spend a little more money shop at Whole Foods or Plum Market where the employees are respectful.
