Cafe with a a cozy vibe and plenty of outdoor seating. You have to order at the cashier and food will be brought to your table. The menu is massive and reasonably priced. We ordered both Parma panini and wild mushroom pizza, I enjoyed both. The quality of the green is high! I can’t wait to try more items here.
Big portions for ~$15 range. Great stop before your Beverly Hills tour. They have a line that goes to the left for take-out and right for dining-in, but people were standing at the door so it was hard to tell where to go or who was in line. The food came fast and was excellent! Just the right quantity before a whole day.
Wish they would open on the east coast...we love this place, very friendly, amazing menu, quality of food, quality of service, they are genuinely happy to serve and help...and it shows. Their food is amazing, light, good taste, good ingredients etc. Food preparation is quick, drinks not so much. Get very busy, gotta budget your time accordingly.
Great price for great food. The food is very good. All the dining is mostly outdoors with comfy chairs.
Urth lives up to its name. A medium size quaint place to eat. We ordered lasagna, tortilla soup, fresh juice and Pecan pie. The tortilla soup came with a salad plate. Soup was very good. Pecan pie was perfect with just the right amount of sugar in it. The crust was crisp and fresh. Do order it when you visit this place. I also ordered a large cappuccino. Loved it. Do not miss the chairs with leaves design on them. Though the seating is on the roadside, they have made a good ambience with beautiful plants and flowers. Fresh feel.
Ambiance is cool. Food is decent. 🥤 Is what I got it was okay.
Not much seating. French toast & salad was good. Scrambled eggs not so much.
If you live in LA and have not been to Urth Caffe you are definitely missing out. It is known as a typical LA place to go, but it is for good reasons. Urth has amazing coffees, lattes, smoothies, juices, etc with BEAUTIFUL latte art and tons of breakfast/lunch options to satisfy anyone with any dietary restrictions. The indoor space has really cool cafe vibes with lots of outdoor space and seating. You order at the front and then take your number to the table you choose and they will bring the food out to you. Make sure to be scouting out available tables while you are in line and hopefully you can have a friend hold the table while you order. The food is definitely pricey so be prepared.Be sure to stay on the lookout for celebs at the Beverly Hills location. I have spotted a few here over the years. These are my recommendations below:Meals:--Avocado toast +heirloom tomatoes or +poached egg or both. I love a good avocado toast and this one at Urth does not disappoint. The bread is amazing!--Egg sandwich. Classic, delicious breakfast sandwich served with mixed greens.--Caprese Sandwich: Yes, yes, yes. So delicious with the sundried tomato spread.--All paninis--Mediterranean platter: this is a large plate filled with all things vegetarian. Falafels, stuffed grape leaves, hummus, tabouli, roasted peppers, grilled artichokes, feta, and mixed olives served with pita bread.Pastry:--Nutella Girella Buns. Buttery croissant dough filled and rolled with rich pastry cream. Nutella spread and toasted hazelnuts. Flaky, chocolatey, deliciousness!!Drinks:--Honey Vanilla Latte--Matcha Latte--Amazon Rainforest Smoothie--Build your own smoothie
Great assortment of items to eat and drink. Good coffee. I went there for brunch and had both the coffee and an egg dish. I got the to go order and everything was perfect. The staff is friendly and the service smooth. Will come back!
Delicious and perfect place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have a grrat variety of different items for any meal of the day.The service was excellent. There was a line to enter the restaurant but we just waited about 10-15 minutes which gave us enough time to see the menu and decide what to order. You order first and then they take you to a table. The prices were pretty good, moderate considering the location and the amount of food.We ordered some salads, pizza and coffee. The coffee was really good and tasty. The pizza was delicious, the crust was soft but it had some good crunchy parts on it that made it perfect. We also had a Greek Salad and a Green salad with Chicken and mushrooms. The chicken was tender, moist and well cooked. We wanted to try the Chai Latte but they didnt have any tea available at that moment.5/5
Horrible experience for today. Absolutely spoiled and arrogant people working out there. Order was prepared completely wrong! 3 items are missing in the bag. Wrong drinks. Food quality is terrible. Everything made quick has no taste! Awful! Seems like they are super busy and doesn’t care about the quality at all! Cashier is not hearing you when you do order for to go. She got this plastic wall and not even listening you. WTH??!!! Double check items in you’re bag! Twice! Check you’re receipt too!!! Quality of service in this place lower than...Not going be back, ever! :((
Wasnt as impressed as the first time I came. If you come on a busy day, while your standing in line, people behind you will grab the limited tables available. Saw atleast 6 to 7 tables taken by someone without a number. If enough ppl do that, there wont be anyone actually eating. If your looking for a physical diagnostic kit for healthcare professions check out MedMogul com.
Tried the milkshake Glace and was happy. The pastries are great too, sometimes they seem to be not very fresh. But last time I was there, they tasted fresh.
Simply delicious breakfast. I have been to the other branch before and same quality carries over this branch. Great coffee and toast. I ordered the avocado toast and add extra $ for tomatoes and poached eggs. Everything taste fresh here and worth it for the price they charged.Got a nice cozy little fire place here in a chill morning. 🥰
Do not come to this place. This is by far the poorest customer service I have ever had in my entire life. It took twenty minutes to get help and when I finally went up to someone to help my family I was brushed off. To be discrete the man Omar C. had the most rudest attitude ever. Omar was very sarcastic, disrespectful, & ill-mannered. He does not deserve to be on the management team with that kind of unprofessional behavior. When I asked him for help he didn’t even look at me & told me to go sit down. He was having a bad day & took it out on customers which is highly unprofessional. When I called the general manager, Octuvio & told him about my bad experience he started questioning me as if I was lying. Overall, do not come to this place if you are a minority. They will make you feel like you do not belong.
Best coffee anywhere. AND the best waffles. Elegant, luxurious food with an environment that will take you away.
I found the food to be on the good side at Urth, but their organization can seem inconsistent. Example: Ordered coffee of the day on 2 different days, cream & sugar, large size. One day they gave me cream so that I could add the amount I wanted. The next time, they poured in the amount of cream that they decided was right. Then, they charged me 30 cents for the cream. I ordered their apple pie and an egg dish today. Well, they expected me to carry the pie, napkin and mix stick, the packets of sugar, the coffee (and my cell phones that I was holding), to the table that they chose for me. I asked if I could get some help getting to the table. Cashiers response? Well you can leave your coffee or pie here and come back and get it...as in make two trips, buster. Of course they left out the word buster. The egg order was supposed to come with bread and salsa, which they completely forgot to bring which required me asking about half way through the meal. Belatedly, after asking, it came.A friend called me after I got settled and I asked, have you ever been charged extra for the cream in your cream and sugar coffee? He said well you ARE in Beverly Hills...
A wonderful place for a bite with friends with great healthy options, delicious coffee drinks and ambiance. My only but is the seating situation, but I kinda gotten used to it by now. Its an LA staple, it can never go away.
Great açaí, great coffee, and great granola. They could use a better system that’s more efficient but that’s not my business. Perhaps it’s on purpose? I digress.Get there early and enjoy.
Urth caffe is such a beautiful place to sit and have coffee and dine with friends. The food and drinks are delicious, the customer service is excellent and I absolutely love the atmospher!
Food is delicious service was the best. While restaurants everywhere are complaining about being able to hire Urth must be doing something right as they appeared fully staffed and employees were extremely upbeat and helpful.
Really nice food, clean and tidy place. The Pizzas and salads were really nice. The shakes were also extremely good. It was really satisfying meal although a bit expensive.
Great place, great coffee and the desserts is fantastic, this is one of my favorite places in LA
Love this place its got great food this one in Beverly Hills is just a little chaotic
Urth Cafes food is delicious but the service could be better. The staff inside and the greeter were super nice, but the guy cleaning up the dishes and tables gave my sister an attitude for asking for utensils.
They really figured out a great system to deal with getting people safely seated during this crazy time! The food is always amazing and the people working there are super nice. Theres a reason theres a line out the door. There are tons of food options in that area and people are willing to wait for this place. Thank you for always making it a great experience
I go to this place often with a huge group of friends. We like the food here, however, I wish they would offer a wider variety. Also, PLEASE fix the smoking issue. There is always a group of maybe 15-20 people standing outside and smoking at night time. Not only does it interrupt my eating, but more importantly, my breathing.
I love the pecan pieHot cocoa and blueberry scones
This place is usually really busy. The service isnt as good as some places but the food is really good and fresh. Great place for a coffee and a quick breakfast on the patio. They have a lot of outdoor seating. I recommend one person orders and the other finds a table because it usually takes away to get a seat. Also most of the seating is in the shade and can get chilly but they have heaters there to keep you warm. The juices are very fresh and good.A lot of people want to order from their table but you have to order at the front. They are really good at moving through the line quickly as it is almost always a line out the door.
This is a nice looking, cozy place, right at the main street, with ample parking nearby. I can see why this place is so popular with the locals. Unfortunately, while traveling through, it must have been a very busy time, since the waiting time was just too long, with drinks arriving way after the food. The food looked really good, but was somewhat cold when finally presented. Probably just a bad time, but not the experience I expected.
We got breakfast burrito, pancakes with raspberry, and a parfait. It was all delicious. The chai was also delicious. Its a bustling little place everyone was moving quickly. They had a ton of pastries options we wished we could try.
Coffee of the day was mostly sour with a vanilla tint. Very slow and not friendly.
Great food, poor service. Very unhappy woman at register 08/25/21 11:50am. Clearly in the wrong business!!
Awesome place, nice brunch, busy place, they did their best. Wait was about 30 min.Nice coffee and cappuccino
Came here during lunch and ordered myself the Roasted Turkey Panini, a cappuccino, and Green Tea Tiramisu. The food was phenomenal! Everything was fresh and you can definitely tell the food was just made once it was ordered. The only downside to this place is that it can get a little packed during lunch time so seating might be hard to find (Yes, you have to find your own tables). Not to mention the matter of standing in a narrow place to order kind of ruins the vibe of the restaurant, but its understandable since this cafe is right in the center of Beverly Hills.Service was quick and efficient and everyone seems to know what they doing and willing to assist you if you need it.Overall, would definitely recommend!
I give this place 4 stars because when I went it was a little dirty and messy, there wasnt a host to sit me down and the tables are just to close to each other I didnt felt the privacy I like to have at brunch. Beside this, definetly top 3 of the best brunches in my life, the food is delicious and the beverages too. Totally recommend it if you dont mind eating next to a stranger.
A cool cafe in the heart of beverly hills. They have indoor and outdoor seatings. Their desserts portions are huge and tasty. I tried their matcha latte but I didn’t like it. It was bitter but their pistachio tiramisu was out of this world. Highly recommended.Service was good but a bit slow due to the crowd.
Seating on a Friday morning was easy peasy and the food came in very quickly. The drinks took a bit slower. The food was delicious!! It is no wonder why my friends rave about this place
Lovely ambience...good for couples
Depending on what time you come the wait can be either long or short. Ordering wasnt too bad but its nicer to come in a group so one person can find a table while the other orders. I would recommend trying it but if you dont like crowds it might not be your favorite. The waiters were nice but very busy. The food was good but came lukewarm and drinks came after the food.
I enjoy the outdoor environment. The staff are efficient and attentive. Most of all, the drinks are super refreshing and indulging.
One of the most amazing pecan sticky bun. The fragrant caramel has hardened and some parts is perfectly chewy. You can taste the tasty butter in the pastry. Ate it 2 days later with no re-heating required and it is still delicious. However the smoked salmon benedict was average. It is lacking some sauce. The capuccino is weak even tough I have opted for “strong”
Excellent large coffee granita ($6.45 incl tax), was absolutely delicious. The paper straw Urth provided was both stylish, wide, and environmentally conscientious. As a suggestion, it should be made a little more clear that customers should wait with the Doordashers and Uber Eats people after placing an order since it wasnt especially obvious.
The place was bustling with life and full of people when we came here to get breakfast. The area is rather small and the tables are packed very closely together, so be prepared. Youll to get knocked into and have to stand up frequently to let people through. Food and drinks were mediocre, so dont expect a gastronomic experience. Overall was a decent normal breakfast, but based on what Ive tried, I probably would not return to try the rest of the menu.
Coffe was good, hot chocolate was good, brunch food was good. Line also moved pretty fast despite the crowd. Definitely visit if you have the time.
This cafe have a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu with plenty of options including dessert options, milkshakes, smoothies and hot beverages. It get really busy but plenty of tablet. The queue was long too . The service was average however friendly staff that were serving the food . You have to order by the counter and you get a token number! You have to find your own sit. It’s 5–10 min walk from the rodeo drive and many other cafes around it. Ambience isn’t that great but I would recommend this place. The pricing is average too not expensive
Perfect for flavorful breakfast options. Recommended: Spanish coffee, breakfast burrito, huevos rancheros
Rude wait staff tonight - specifically one man. Ive been here countless times over the past few years, so Im quite surprised. We had a party of two and they gave us one set of utensils, so I asked for another set and the man on the wait staff gave me an attitude. He looked busy, but thats not a good reason to be rude to paying customers. Ill only do pickup from now on and avoid the trash service.
Visiting from the PNW, I had heard that Urth was thee place to go for brunch so thats where I had set my sights on. I came on a Sunday morning and was seated relatively quickly, within 20 minutes. The food was absolutely amazing, and I had a wonderful brunch! The staff were all wearing PPE and I arrived with a mask. I would absolutely come again for some brunch with friends.
Great service. Huge portions and tasted amazing!
Always a crowd here but good espresso thats worth the wait.
What can I say... My wife have been coming here since we have been married, (I Think) 27 years. We’re they there that long? Who cares... The food is always cooked to perfection and the restaurant is always busy, but somehow you can always find a table. I enjoy walking my dog and having an early morning breakfast. I love the Grilled Vegetable Omelette and a tall glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. And the fresh pastries, don’t get me started... they are so good...
Top notch spot for breakfast. Yum yum yum. My only recommendation but an important one is: PLEASE consider replacing the plastic cups with reusable cups.
Great breakfast, very delicious, good service, everything was perfect.
The food is fresh and healthy and also tastes good. You have lots of choice but the place is generally crowded
Excellent breakfast and coffee. must try the pecan pie!
I ordered spanish latte here and it was great. They only do take outs for now. Want to visit urth caffe again when the pandamic is all over.
I got a raw chicken sandwich. I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich to go and when I arrived home I noticed that the chicken was pink and had not been thoroughly cooked. The staff is not even competent enough to give me a sandwich that is cooked. I called and spoke with the manager Caroline who told me I would have to wait until Monday which was five days after my initial pick up to receive a refund. This restaurant is clearly not capable of delivering quality products to the customers. I paid $20 for a sandwich and it wasn’t even cooked. And they expected me to drive all the way back to have the sandwich replaced after working a long hard day. This place is a huge disappointment and is a waste of money don’t eat at this place because you can risk getting sick if you’re not paying attention and eat a raw chicken sandwich. Never going to eat at this place again. Huge disappointment!
3.5 stars. Looking for a place to have a nice, and if wanted, healthy breakfast? Well this spot is one to try out. They have many options and they also have some pastries to try out.The service was really good. No complaints there. Everything seemed to be kept pretty clean including the restrooms. The location can get tricky since there seems to only be public parking in front (it is paid parking with a hour max on it). We spent less than an hour there though, so maybe not a big issue. It is quite small so sometimes the line would be outside. Maybe it has to do with the social distancing as well and the limited seating? I dont know. There is also some good pic ops from time to time with the fireplace near some seats. You can see that on the picture I posted. The food was good and the wait time was not that long. Perhaps 10 minutes or so. However, We were there at around 10:30 a.m (if that makes a difference).Would I go back? Sure, someday but I would try other places before that.Check them out and then follow our travel vlogs on insta @thehungrynomadz
I love this place! I come here often and have always gotten a consistent and delicious meal! The servers are friendly and attentive! The coffee is always fresh, and the atmosphere is delightfully warm and inviting! The menu is what you would expect for the most part, but there is always a fun inventive twist on something! i recommend Urth Caffé Beverly Hills .
One of my favorite casual restaurants with healthy and tasty food. Its famous for coffee and desserts as well.My favorites are:Spanish latteApple tart dessertCaravan saladChicken sandwich
I used to like this caffe a lot and the sunrise green tea is good. However I ordered a “New Yorker” Reuben sandwich which got delivered and the meat taste was really bad! It tasted like the meat was expired and old, and had been left out for a while. The smell was bad too. Upsetting because most of the other dishes I tried were pretty good. I’m not sure if it’s just the expired/old meat or the sandwich itself, but I can sadly no longer rely on here for high quality healthy food. A waste of money for an expensive, old sandwich 😔
Loved this place. Thought it would be overrated but it wasn’t. Coffee is incredible. Croissant - chocolate with pistachio - to die for. Bacon was perfectly cooked. And smoked salmon Benedict was delicious. Highly recommend this place. Not to mention that it’s pretty reasonably priced!!
Great food and service. Generous portions. Busy at lunch but got served in reasonable time.
My first time coming to an urth Caffe and I loved it. Very kind staff, relaxed vibe, and delicious coffee that was so pretty I didnt want to drink it! Loved it, wish we had one in my state!
I would say you should go there. Definitely a great experience and nice atmosphere.
Hi quality coffee, macchiatos are true italian-style shots, not that starbucks calorie-filled sugary childrens drink. Must see local spot. Order ahead bc theyre usually busy.
Delicious food, and good service. The wait is pretty long and the food is pretty pricey.
