So we stopped by because I honestly thought their iced latte and logo are super cute and would be nice addition to vlog. And of course the coffee was great! Also had the best BLT there!! They used some sort of sauce that really give the plain BLT REAL KICK AND FLAVOR. It is a very small place with limited space so we enjoyed our breakfast outside on their bench.
I was dying to try their famous iced vanilla latte, as it is my favorite drink. I ordered a large one, plus an iced matcha for my wife.Unfortunately both drinks were pretty much flavorless! Imagine a really watered down coffee mixed with milk and a ton of ice on top, and the matcha was exactly the same. Also, the lid on the coffee was leaking all around and stained my t-shirt even after I had wiped it clean after pick-up. Its those little details that keep me coming or away from a coffee shop.Service was good and professional, and the place is well maintained. Also in a great location to walk.Unfortunately their drinks wont bring me back anytime soon.
I used to love this place but since they did some renovations here it doesn’t really look they cozy anymore. And they don’t no longer have restroom :(I don’t think I’ll be coming again, alas!
This is a tiny place with definitely invites you in to have some coffee and relax with your friends. The coffee itself is strong and tastes amazing and as good as the coffee in Seattle. However, the coffee that was served to me was much less than 8oz. The coffee cups are creative, the servers are happy to answer any questions you have and lines are sometimes long but it’s worth the wait. It’s all part of the “But first, coffee” experience.
I paid my first visit to Alfred when I was in Beverly Hills and looking for a cup of joe that was not from a national chain. The small cafe on the corner of Beverly and Santa Monica managed to meet my expectations. I ordered a cappuccino and the Rico breakfast burrito. The cafe had a nice vibe, with plenty of places to sit. My cappuccino was delicious, with a rich and unique flavor - definitely superior to similar offerings from Starbucks. The breakfast burrito was simply okay - I’ve had much better for much cheaper (also there was a fried egg instead of the advertised scrambled). If you are looking for a cafe that’s a bit less generic than Starbucks, than I’d recommend giving Alfred a try.
Sooo good. I got a matcha latte with oat milk... Best ever!
I ordered a large mocha for my husband and a small mocha for me. Mine didn’t have mocha in it. I went back to tell them. They gave me some mocha syrup in a cup. So unprofessional. I should have gone to Starbucks down the street. A Barista at Starbucks would never do such a thing. He or she would make another one for me. Quality and customer service guaranteed at Starbucks. Period. Not Alfred. I am very disappointed with Alfred. Will not patronize them again and do not recommend it.
Best iced vanilla latte that I have ever drink and the best coffee quality that I have found in LA
Ok food (limited variety), ok coffee
This place is located right off of Santa Monica Blvd, very small but it always catches your eye with its famous Best Vanilla Latte in town sign. We must have passed by that place at least 10 times and were finally able to come in for their lattes.Inside they have maybe 4 tables, few outside tables, plain interior with menu sign on their wall. They also offer small bakery items and few pre packaged drink options as well as a whole young coconut. So we got the coconut and of course their vanilla latte. Our drink order was made pretty quick within 5 min and we also enjoyed a fresh young coconut which is always delicious. So their Vanilla latte is good, it was a perfect blend of espresso and a perfect amount of milk with just enough sweetness from vanilla syrup. I mean we enjoyed it very much as it was just how we like it but there was nothing special about it. Will we order it again if we happen to pass by? Yes . Will we make a special trip to come get it? Probably not.Im sure their other coffee items are great as well so if you happen to be in the area on a hot day, grab one of their iced lattes for sure but dont expect something out of this world just because they have a sign that says best Vanilla latte in town...also its hard to find parking there, obviously it is Beverly Hills and right on the Main Street so have that in mind as well.
Good coffee and pastries. I felt it’s a little overpriced.
Bought a turkey pesto sandwhich and an iced coffee. They gave me a salami and argula sandwhich instead but labelled it the one I specifically ordered. So annoying; for 12 bucks a sandwhich that is unacceptable.
Good quality coffee and tea. Interesting creations. The price is a bit high but not out of place considering prices of other elite coffee shops. If you are here and want to try $10 matcha or $10 latte, then its an experience. There are plenty of regular items. Very relaxed classy new clean setting, but little small. Free WiFi
Not bitter like Starbucks, lots of supercars passing by, doesnt affect the taste.
I not only love the cute vibe in here, but genuinely love the coffee. Before covid I used to go here early in the morning to get some work done (its freezing though 😉). But they have an extra small coffee that is perfect for me and their matcha is delicious.
Its was great coffee ☕
Tasty breakfast burritos
I love the interior design of all the Alfred Coffee shops! I think this is a great shop to socialize and perhaps do work thats not incredibly engaging as it could be difficult to focus with all the people coming in & out and talking. This is a huge tourist attraction as its right on the perimeter of Rodeo Drive. Theres a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating though. I came at 2 PM on Monday with a group of 4 and we were able to grab 2 tables.I just ordered a 12 oz drip coffee and it was good! The customers service is great! My friend accidentally spilled my coffee and the barista offered to make me a new drink! I didnt end up getting one but I really appreciated the consideration & offer.Parking: I parked for free for 2 hours in the residential street across the street!
Paid $21 for three drinks, was very disappointed. Honestly expected much better quality for the coffee but the drinks ended up being so watered down that they weren’t even drinkable.
One of the best coffee shops in Beverly Hills, made appropriately with the right amounts of coffee to milk! The only thing is the iced latte is a bit heavy on the milk - you can see the cup filled to the brim with milk and they toss a shot of espresso in. Tastes great though!
Great coffee shop. Its best for grab and go as there is minimal seating, and parking in the area can be difficult. My favorite is a dirty chai tea latte with almond milk.
Im a fan of Alfreds. Ive been to several locations. This one is a cute, warm, cool music kind of spot. The coffee is amazing. I was kind of turned off by the staff. They were cold and robotic. Not friendly like at other locations. No eye contact. Weird. Parking is difficult. There’s a parking structure two blocks away. The area is busy and full of tourists.
A little small on the inside but that really doesnt matter when you are just picking up and leave. Love Starbucks but I do think coffee taste a little better at Alfreds.
Nice, clean place. Very good coffee. Caramel latte is really nice
Poor service. Paid for a box where the pastries didn’t fit and they wouldn’t even bother to refund the box cost. After we asked if they would refund the cost, they said it was used. $4.50 for a poor service experience - hmmm.
The food is great but the service is slow
Beautiful interior with really great coffee and food. Some coffee places really only serve mediocre food or cold bagels, but not here. Food is great and they have great options like avocado toast. Great coffee too.
Cute cafe! I enjoyed my iced americano and my partner liked his iced tea. Reasonable prices considering they are located in Beverly Hills. Would definitely come back!
Decor nice. Our drinks were overpriced, small, and tasteless. Expected to at least enjoy sipping a coffee while walking down Rodeo Drive
The best vanilla latte in town. I had it over ice
Great coffee!
Worse experience ever! I ordered their new beverage that was advertised. Cashier said it is the most popular. I asked her to give me half the ice as she explained the cup is full of ice. So I agreed to half a cup of ice. The lady then says we charge an extra dollar for half the ice I asked why and she says since we are adding half the ice that means we need to add more liquid. Thus charging you a dollar extra for half the ice. I told the lady that is absurd, fill it up with ice instead. Next thing you know she says your total is $7.50. Expensive!!! I immediately canceled the order and ordered an iced cold brew. First of all $7.50 for a small beverage is absurd. Not to mention the cup if filled with ice making it a watered down beverage. Youre basically paying $7.50 for water. Or you can pay a dollar extra for half the ice!!! Worse experience ever!!!! Never going there again.
Nice cappuccino after long! Good Job! 👍🏼
Very helpful staff. Tasty food and beverages
Small spot but awesome coffee and staff. The cold brew is delicious.
My favorite here is their vanilla latte! Friendly baristas
Outstanding coffee! Wonderful bagels! The nicest staff! Sweet outside seating... The perfect coffee cafe!!
Chai latte. Yum. Get it. Need I say more?
Super high quality excellent service and lovely location
Had a large regular milk latte, very good #thumbsup#fussyaussie
Utterly ridiculous, of course, but Ive been working in Beverly hills for a couple years and it is surprisngly hard to get a decent cup of coffee, although the blue bottle that opened up is nice. You cant fault the coffee or baked goods here, only the ridiculous people who drink it. They invented but first, coffee if you dont know.
Excellent breakfast burrito and coffee and snacks. One of the top coffees shops in la
Its fine, the coffee and teas are better in the Melrose Place location though.
Stylish yet whimsical coffee shop serving coffee & juice, plus salads, sandwiches & pastries.
Super cute location, enjoyed my matcha latte and jalapeño bagel!
Great tasting pour over.
Excellent breakfast burrito and coffee and snacks. One of the top coffees shops
I love Alfred. I get a ton of work done with their WiFi and happy surroundings, plus the rose black tea is great hot or iced!
Great vibe and decor, but that’s about it. The espresso I was served was so bitter it was unpalatable, and the barista was dismissive when I questioned it. Not a positive experience.
The design is awesome! I like the style of this place and atmosphere! Coffee is incredible!
Orders must be taken threw app or Postmates...
That wall outside is the cutest!🤗📸💞
5-star for my cappuccino with matcha shot & the greenie bagel! Soo good!!
Vanilla latte is highly recommended!
Fun little place to stop by and have coffee and chat. Parking is a struggle so park about a block down and walk it . Prices are like Starbucks, coffee deff tastes 100% better .
Had the most amazing vanilla cold brew and breakfast burrito!
The iced vanilla latte is amazing staff is really nice and parking is good.
Fave coffee spot in Beverly Hills. Great flavors and great atmosphere.
Uncomfortable seating. Our coffee order was forgotten. And when we finally got the latte and cappuccino, they were like warm and burnt tasting. Ugh.
Favourite spot in BH for an iced almond milk latte. Service is really friendly, quick, and the interior is gorgeous!
Good place proper coffee (main issue in grater LA) convenient parking nearbyNo fuss
Coffee was good, but the interior doesnt have much seating and there isnt really any good areas to wait for your drinks to be made so everyone is kind of crowding the counter.
Good coffee. Excellent staff. Was lacking coffee house vibe.
Service was not great and my iced mochas was tiny and pretty much all ice.
Fresh roasted simply tastes better. Friendly nice staff
Really good bagels and lattes.
I sat in traffic for an hour just to get to this location and unfortunately by the time I got there it was 5 minutes to 6 pm. They close at 6, but they had already cleaned their espresso machines so they were only offering drip or micro. I only drink espresso. I honestly wish places like this would close at 6 as they advertise and then clean their machines or change the hours of operation to reflect that youre closing a quarter to 6. Super inconvenient to drive so far and want a latte with oat milk from Alfred only to be turned away because the crew wants to get ready to go home. The service here on a regular basis is also hit or miss. Its a good thing they serve up delicious espresso or I wouldnt frequent this place once or twice a day, six or seven times a week. 😏
We happened upon this place during a soft opening. Free drinks, free WiFi, free good vibes!!
Good iced tea, good service, was all out of food by the time I got there at 3:30.
No parking at all, nightmarish traffic, over all neat Cafe.
Beautifully done!! Love this place! Great coffee, and friendly staff!
Great coffee, wish the outdoor seating area was larger and enclosed
Evereything Ive tryied there was reallly tasty! High quallity products and very friendly stuff. Id come here everyday!
Refreshing and not too sweet
Nice coffee place, nice atmosphere
Yummy iced vanilla latte with available stevia
LOVE! Cant wait for my next trip here! :-)
Omg...sneaky staff.Highly OVER PRICED stuff and super rude staff..not good for where they are situated..they kind of ruined our evening with their sneaky behavior, luckily there were other places where people were nice.
Great place but map location on google is way off. Next to fat burger!
No parking place. Super slow
