First off that beautiful smell of yeast, sugar and donuts being baked makes you want their goods…🤤We finally made it in to try their 🍩….The atmosphere was nice and their their quirky decor makes you want to explore and view each poster and art, very modern meets vintage and industrial look. A lovely helpful young man served us and boy what a selection of donuts, I asked him which ones he advised and of course he suggested the bacon and maple long John….I’m a huge fan of 🥓 and 🍁 😜🥰🥰🥰…the size of this one! You could even share if you wanted to or scoff the bloody lot yourself (half came home for the next day!)They we’re truly delicious and well worth the trip, grab a coffee a donut and your book and enjoy the great atmosphere here which is lovely and clean. Good coffee! I recommend an Iced Americano. The donut selection is wild everything from a Homer donut (pink donut from the simpsons) to maple bacon. The have both cake and bread donuts too!

Cant find a better way to start a meeting than with Hurts Donut Co. Many varieties to choose from, some aptly named after famed movie characters and cereals. Bought a variety with ET, Smores, Cookie Monster, Fruity Pebbles, Little Timmy and of course the Bacon Longjohn. The chocolate varieties are more cake-like, while the traditional glazed are deco frosted and Boston Kreme our most flavorful and favored texture. Coffee was traditional drip, with a convenient coffee station to sweeten and cream to your liking. A must stop donut shop in Bettendorf.

What a fun place! We were there at about 9pm on a Friday night and there were people there of all ages. The place was very clean and run like a well oiled machine. The staff was really fun and very helpful. We definitely ordered way too many, but it appeared so did everyone else in line before and after us lol.

Incredible! Ive never had freshly made doughnuts and these were amazing. The yeast doughnuts were light and fluffy. And obviously photos of the specialty doughnuts are a must.The interior is clean with pops of color and being able to watch them make the doughnuts was extra sprinkles on top.I will be back just to try one of those giant apple fritters!

Gourmet donut shop thats usually open 24 hours but closes earlier for now due to Covid-19. They offer many unique donuts that you usually dont see anywhere else and they are really good. Everytime Im near here I try to take a dozen home. They are always a hit!!!

Stopped here on our way to Colorado and was immediately impressed and excited their donuts looked awesome. Staff was friendly and the donuts not only looked great they tasted delicious. Wish we had one in Indiana.

We had never been to a Hurts before. Not sure we will try again any time soon. 2 gals working the counter, both rude trying to hurry us through the line. Im sure we would have purchased more if given the opportunity to look at all of the choices. We would suggest the Quad Cities branch look into hiring friendly staff.

It is a bit pricey but this is the best doughnuts in town, in my taste buds opinion--I love its moist texture and rich taste. Ive tasted a lot of doughnuts in different countries and this is one of the most memorable ones. There are a lot of people who go here and some people really take their time ordering so the line could go long, but its worth it. A-must-place-to-go when visiting the Quad Cities.

These are the best donuts I have ever had. The maple bacon donut is something you must try, its awesome. Honestly I would say the first time you go there get like multiple flavors and try each one because, the first time I got them we got a dozen, and got like 7 different flavors and all of them were delicious. We had the maple bacon, cookie monster, Homer Simpson, strawberry streusel, and the Bavarian. The others I cant remember, but all were really great in there own way.

The staff members are as sweet as the donuts :) I always get the random half-dozen whenever I stop at this location, as the selection and taste never fails to impress!

Unreal doughnut shop. Had one brought back to me by a friend, and by the next weekend I had to get some more for myself. Great selection, super fresh. Its not your typical doughnuts but the variety still gives something for everyone. Definitely recommend any cake doughnuts.

My first visit to this location, and I am NOT disappointed! A very clean setup, friendly staff for a 7am visit, and an even better selection of doughnuts than I was counting on. Im taking these to a client, and I know they are a guaranteed hit!

I went here on 3/29/21 in the evening and had the rudest girl attending my friends and I. For one of them, it was their first time there, and I was so embarrassed about the service. The young lady in question was impatient with our choosing, and irritated when we apologized and asked if we could get a dozen instead of six. She argued with us about an unlabeled apple fritter wed mistakenly called a bear claw, and drew it out for a while. When it came time to check out, she commented on my batman shirt, and let me know she was a Marvel fan. When I responded with a positive comment about both, she made a point to emphasize how much she didnt like DC, and loved Marvel. We hadnt asked, and just wanted to leave at that point. Her tone and general demener was dismissive, and I was honestly embarrassed that Id brought my friends there.Great doughnuts, terrible service.

Theres literally nothing bad I can say about this place. We always let them decide the donuts were getting, and always end up with several different everytime. The cinnamon rolls are enough to feed a small army, the fritter was amazing. Weve never had bad customer service either.The only issue I have is its ruined other donuts for me! Will be back, repeatedly.

So, upon entering, it was a complete mad house. It sounded like we were at a bar watching the Super Bowl. When we got up to order, a wandering lady who was also ordering, was weaving in and out of other customers with wanton disregard for social distancing guidelines as well as general decency. No staff said anything about it. This also led to staff confusion about whos getting what donut. So, fast forward 15 minutes to when we got home. The donuts looked like a landslide. Needless to say our experience at Hurts Donut...hurt. Pun intended

Never been, but decided to go at 1045am on a Sunday. Hardly anyone wearing masks, no one distancing themselves, loud and disorganized. No one greeted or offered to help. A lot of people behind the counter, but no one with actual customer service skills. The only thing that saves this place from one star is the variety. Will try again maybe with some coffee. Hopefully by then the children working there will have gotten some more experience and people skills.

Yesterday was our first time ever being there. Our 4 yr old son was in heaven. The staff was polite. The atmosphere was great. We brought home a GIANT cinnamon roll. We left with one happy little boy. He loved his dirt doughnut.

Love the donuts. But obviously the staff dont care about their patrons health. The staff dont wear masks- which is their right. Just not my cup of tea during the pandemic.

I’m not one to complain because I work in retail & I’m usually pretty understanding, but the costumer service here is all bad. And then on top of that the employee are having inappropriate conversations in front of customers.

Well first off, the employees who are making the donuts werent wearing masks at all and the girl behind the counter wasnt wearing her maks correctly, which. Is concerning, especially as they work in food service. Second, almost every time I go in there, they are out of glazed donuts, which seem to be the most popular. Their donuts are good, but Im always struggling to get the kinds that I want and have walked out disappointed multiple times.Looking at the way that the company responds to complaints from its customers, if they respond at all, it clear to see that there is a lack of leadership in the customers service department. Multiple customers have brought up concerns about masks not being worn and they just shrug and say that its not a mandate in iowa. Its clear that they dont care much for the health and safety of their employees, their workers or anyone who might come in contact with someone whos been in their store. Its sad, as I do actually like their donuts when I manage to get them, but I wont be coming back to this establishment in the future.

The donuts are amazing! They are the perfect bar for all of the flavors. They have flavors with candy toppings, frostings, and glazes. However, the donuts themselves would still be great if they were plain.

Today while standing in line (in the middle of a pandemic) I witnessed the server wear the same pair of gloves to serve multiple people. He chose donuts from the case placing them in bags, he accepted patrons money and credit cards and then the show stopper...he picked up a cleaning rag, wiped down a computer screen and counter top then served the next patron. He reached right in the donut case and grabbed another donut!When it was my turn I walked up and said “I have to ask you to change your gloves before you can wait on me” He was very polite and did so. I was EXTREMELY happy I had ordered my donuts prior to arrival. He was not going to be serving my food.

Went here on 9/5/19 after a long travel. Stopped in and was greeted by a nice warm smile and the smell of freshly baking pastries. The lady who assisted me was very polite and patient as I decided on what I wanted from their always decent selection. It was late and I expected less than adequate service but this lady was on point and deserves the recognition. Will always return when in the area..not a big doughnut fan myself but my kids love theirs.

Hurt Donuts has been about the experience of what donuts you are going to get to try. Typically, my family gets a Hurts Dozen and that gives us a wide variety of donuts to try. Last night my little brother with special needs had me drive him 30 minutes so that he could buy some donuts. However, this last experience left us feeling slighted and was the worst experience we have had at Hurts Donuts. In the past, there have been a variety of cake donuts and yeast donuts and we have never received two of the same kind of donuts. Last night we received 4 sets of duplicates and they were all cake donuts. I would understand if there were no choice but there were more than 20 kinds of donuts in the glass and there was nobody else waiting in line. Is this the way that it is supposed to be? If so, I hope nobody else ever gets that experience. It was overall disappointing.

Best donuts around. Some are closer to a 3 course dessert than a donut. Cake ones and chocolate ones are great with choices from Apple pie to mint chocolate chip to Maple bacon too. Great gifts. Not your typical Monday morning donut and coffee ...more of a donut experience.
