They didnt have hardly any guns in almost no ammunition not even used guns

I stopped into B&B today after stopping at one of their competitors shops in Davenport. When I was at the competitors shop, the guy behind the counter wasnt really interested in helping me. I wanted to look at options for nice, concealed carry firearm (my first handgun) and I asked to be shown some, the response was ehh were pretty picked over. So I left and went to B&B, from the moment I walked in, I was greeted and the guys behind the counter were super friendly! They showed me what I wanted to see and answered all of my dumb questions. I had no plans on buying today, but they set me up so well, that I decided to drop around $700 on a beautiful Springfield Armory 911. After telling the story to my wife, she responded with well, we will be buying all of our equipment from B&B for no on. Thanks a lot guys!

I have to say I dont normally have much faith in sales guys. They seem to all have their own agenda. But Joe: listened, understood my conserns, and gave great input. He restrung my bow, paper tuned, and put peep in the right spot. 6 inch groups at 50 yards. Thsnks Joe.

Not only will you find great service, and if they dont have what your looking for, they have the knowledge and resources to find it. After the purchase I made from B&B for my first bow, they took the time to help me set it up and explain everything from proper arrow selection and a few lessons on how to shoot. Went back and bought one for my son and found the same great service and commitment after the sale.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ARCHERY. I can not speak for the firearms but Ive never met a less informed archery technician. Telling me completely wrong information and being confident with his answer. I dont know how he even makes these things up. Do not let them touch your bow, you will regret it. Go to R&R sporting goods, they know what they are doing.

The worst customer service Ive ever experienced in a gun store.Edit: Okay, Ill elaborate. There were two gentlemen behind the counter when I walked into the store. None of the two men were helping any customers, there were only a few and everyone was still browsing. One of the men behind the counter pointed at me as soon as I walked into the store, I was unable to make out what he said to his partner, seeing is that I was still walking in. I began to browse the store, while walking about I couldnt help but notice out of the corner of my eye the older gentleman staring sternly at me. While the younger gentleman began briefly tending to a customer.The younger gentleman on the other hand was not as terrible as the older gentleman. When I approached the counter, the men were rude, seemingly having no interest in assisting me with conducting business. I remarked about a semi automatic rifle that was sitting on the counter to the right of me. The price tag on it was just shy of $1,200. The older gentleman didnt even budge, after trying to spark a friendly conversation in order to establish business with them, I grew tired and eventually walked away, grabbed a few pamphlets and headed out the door. I cant count how many times a gun store owner has grabbed a weapon off the rack with great enthusiasm, pulling back the charging handle and proceeded to give me a detailed lesson on the weapon, without me even inquiring about it. There was ZERO courtesy.To be fair, I wasnt dressed the part, in fact I played dumb, of course I knew that it was impossible to buy an automatic AR-15 from a gun store, who the hell doesnt!? But I had about $1,700 in my pocket that day, and I was growing tired of almost every store in that area treating me like a king only after I whipped out my wallet, minus K&K hardware of course. I experimented just to see if I wasnt going crazy. Regardless, I was only looking for a more respectful place to establish a long term relationship without the feeling of being seen as a simple customer. At least the bows were nice.Whatever the case I have no hard feelings, but there is certainly room for improvement.

I generally have very good service when I go into the store, but I havent had a chance to make it in because of extended work hours. No matter how many times or what time of day I call I cannot get them to answer the phone. Are they just screening my calls or is the phone number on here not accurate? Theyre about to lose a lot of reloading business to Amazon if they dont answer the phone soon...

Great employees. Very personable and knowledgeable, used and new firearms available. If they dont have something in stock they order it for you. Layaway is available also which is always nice especially if u dont have all the finds at the moment and dont want to pay the interest on ur credit card.

Purchased two weapons from B and B and always enjoined the experience... they know a lot about side arms but not as knowledgeable on rifles. I had to order a rifle through them, they have been helpful but I had a little trouble with finding accessories for the rifle. (Sling ect.)

The staff have no idea what they are talking about. I was horrified with all of the incorrect or just completely wrong information that they were trying to feed my wife and I. I was not going to argue with them knowing that someone who is that wrong yet says the fallacy with such conviction would never realize that they are giving misinformation.

My first experience with B&B is when I was going to order a rifle online. I called B&B, and they were extremely surly about the entire experience to the point I just had it shipped elsewhere.My second is when my wife got me a gift certificate for them. When I went to use it, I found they had a tiny selection, and were charging $30 for a box of cheap russian garbage ammo (reliably $15 at walmart). The service was just as surly as I remembered over the phone. I have not returned.Id recommend Shooting Sports in Moline or Bunker Hill in Bettendorf - both are 8 minutes away, have friendly staff, massively better selection, and are in every way vastly better than this dank little troll cave.

Horrible customer service, very uneducated tech. Will lie about anything.Example....i called on moday and asked them if they had halon x 28.5 mods and they said no just in 28. I went in todat to buy tgem and respones was we dont have any. I thought they were the same he says and i called mathews and told me they are different just a little smaller. I told him hes wrong they are way bigger..he said oh ..he did mention he coukd order me some for 50.00 im sure he would loo normally they run 35-40.00..Im glad i drove 45 min to waste my time .

He refuses to do an FFL transfer because he didnt make any money off the firearm. Every town has one of these gunshops. The one in my town charges a fee for the transfer, he wants to make much more on the firearm itself.
