My experience with Abble awning has been stress free and the result is amazing. It’s like I added a room on my house. It’s the 365 day awning never needs to be put up or taken down weathered all the snow storms and protected my patio furniture. It’s amazingThank you Abble awning. 👍

This family owned business could not have treated my home deck awning project better if I was the owner of a huge business. They were warm, professional, prompt, and extremely well priced for top quality materials. I highly recommend Able Awning of Bethpage.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. My parents have been customers of this company for years and I’ve never seen them be so frustrated with a service. Never mind that they don’t answer their calls, but they string their customers along. We requested our awning in the beginning of May and they kept saying they were coming until finally someone admitted that they couldn’t locate our awning. Then they came when the family was away and there was a rain storm. We were informed by neighbors that while they tried, the winds were too great and they couldn’t get it up. That’s understandable but because they tried to put up the awning in a storm, there was a rip that now needed repairing. Now it is June 17 and today our awning was just installed. The way the repair was done is just SLOPPY. Looks like someone was trying to just get it closed while not paying attention to the seam at all. There are strings hanging all over the place and it just was not the awning that we had put to store over the winter. Never mind they charged $400 just to clean the awning on top of the installation and removal fee. Completely unhappy with this company and will be going elsewhere for future service with our awning.

I have called about three times since late April they told me to call back in a week then again around early may or so, they said they are busy maybe in two weeks I called three weeks later and their response someone should get back to you within this week it’s now July and I haven’t received a phone call of when they were available to put this patio up, now I’m currently working on putting the patio up on my own. If there was a choice of 0/5 I would rather pick that because to offer even a star is child’s play. Next year a deck might be put up instead.

Abble awning made a beautiful awning for over our outside basement entrance about 15 years ago. We just had it replaced and they did a beautiful, seamless job in a very timely manner once again. The new awning is even more beautiful then the first one they made us! Abble awning was also there for us when a different company we had used prior to them would not fix a roll out awning- even though Abble did not install this they came and fixed it for us! Once again they were timely, professional, and courteous. I highly recommend Abble Awning!!

Actually want to mark (-)10. THEY are horrendous. Ive called since the end of April for set up.Have been given 3 wknds and STILL NO SET UP.They misplaced my awning and told me I had it. Only to agree they did when I provided the receiot that they took it for repairs. Ive had to cancel 3 ouydoor events bc THEY DIDNY CIME. .. Horrible horrible company

I had an old set of window awnings from back in the 90s. Took them to the folks at Abble back in 2009 or 2010. They used the old ones to make me a new set. Last September just before I was ready to take them down we had a very windy storm that tore one of the seams apart. Just took it in and they were ABBLE to restitch the whole awning for me!When and if these need to be replaced you know where Im going...ABBLE

This company is anything but “abble.” Installed our awning 3x and it’s still not right. Ordered it May 1. Said they would install it beginning of July. Didn’t come until the beginning of august despite numerous follow up phone calls. First time they came when we weren’t hime. The awning ripped and the installer simply slapped a ton of glue on the rip and hoped we wouldn’t notice. Also, our neighbors told use the installer stood on our outdoor furniture to install. Didn’t even have a ladder! Second time the new canvas didn’t fit. Third time I think they just came back with the same canvas and made a better effort to get it to fit, but it still is baggy in some sections and collects water in others. The owner promised they would come back this fall, take it down for us and replace it with a new one in the spring. No word since. For a company that has been in business as long as this company it’s shocking that they are not “abble” to properly measure for and install a canvas awning. I wish we would have vetted this company better. Spent the whole summer waiting for an awning only to deal with a lot of headaches.

Terrible customer service. Called and called. Owner strung me along for over 2 months to get awning installed. I called another company and service was great. Stay away from Able Awning. Also quoted me much higher price. I was willing to pay just to have it installed but no show, no call back...nothing.

I called Abble Awning back in February to discuss putting an awning in my backyard to create a shaded area. I spoke with Tom who provided me with many different suggestions. We chose a design and we had it installed a few weeks ago. Everything looks great - it totally transformed my backyard. We now have a great shady area to eat meals. Im very glad I chose Abble Awning.

We have used Abble Awning for many years and they continue do a terrific job. Our window awnings added great personality to our house and we plan on doing a patio awning with them next year. They are a great company to work with and always provide a beautiful product.

A very reliable company! Office staff and people who did the install were professional, attentive and polite. Quality, structure and color of the awning was at satisfactory level! Tom was the person who gave me the estimate back in March and he provided many options. He is a very knowledgeable guy in this field !He is also very flexible to our changes on the size of the awning. We told them we wanted to make it bigger than the original plan. Everything was installed nicely within three weeks after we told him our final dimension wanted.So far it is the best awning company I’ve ever seen!Highly recommend this family-owned company !

Beautiful job on my backyard awning! This is the second awning that Abble has made for my home. The companys work displays excellent craftsmanship and pride in their work. The finished job exceeded my expectations and created a tranquil space of shade - an outdoor room for summer enjoyment.

I have been using Abble awning for 3+ years now. The men who put up and take down my awning does a really good job and they are professional. The receptionist is courteous and does return my calls. My only disappointment is that it takes weeks from the time called to receive service. It’s been over 3 weeks since I called to have my awning take down and still no sign of anyone. I’ve made several calls and I’m told they haven’t gotten to my location yet and that I don’t need to keep calling. Now that we are preparing for possible snow next week, I will have to go with a different company. It’s very unfortunate. I gave 3 stars for the delay in service otherwise you would’ve gotten 5 stars.

Dealt with a previous company that gave me a home depot special and ripped in three days. Needless to say I called up Abble and we can finally use our Car wash bay enclosure like we wanted to. Everything from the initial consultation to the day of the install went super smooth and took place in less than 2 weeks. Definitely recommended for top notch professional work!

I have read a number of negative comments about the AABLE Awning Co., but our experience was very good. I called and received an appointment within two (2) days. Tom Catalano arrived promptly for the appointment, discussed the types of awnings available, gave excellent guidance and measured the area to be covered. He was professional and very pleasant to work with. He explained the process, timeline, etc. and sent two young men to install the frame. They were terrific. They worked together beautifully and discussed options and ideas with us, so that we understood exactly how everything would look when finished. Our awning was promised by the second week of July and we were called and the date for installation fell within the parameters. Again the two young men worked quickly and efficiently. The awning is beautiful, properly installed and we are enjoying it. In the fall, we called, set up a date for removal, cleaning and storage. Again service was very good. In the Spring the awning was rehanged on the date requested with two additional requested reinforcement panels. These were installed to protect the awning from ware due to outdoor fan vibrations. I have recommended this company to friends and I will in the future because the product, service and personnel have all proven excellent.

We have used the services of Able Awning for 30years, ranging from new awnings and annual take downs and reinstalls. It is always a positive experience with them.

The awning itself is OK, but they took additional $200 to cover the side grill to the basement stairs and used some flimsy plastic sheet. I dont know how long it will last. They should have at least indicated that they usually do not take up such work instead of charging me and then using some cheap stuff. I was expecting an acrylic plexiglass so that it would last for some time. This plastic sheet is prone to cuts and tears and with kids around, I think it was a wasted $200. I can only hope it will last for a year or so. Also they were over 5 weeks delayed with their job. Promised to do it in mid June 2016 and ended up doing late July after multiple promises of doing it the next week.
