Came in today to get work done on my car and was helped by Charlie and he was absolutely amazing.He was super friendly and and so helpful. He went over everything that I needed done and in detail so I could understand what was going on. I dropped my car off and He kept me in the loop on what was happening and was quick with my car and had it back to me as quickly as he could. He really went above and beyond to help me which was so wonderful and made this experience even that much more great. I was very happy with the service I was provided and the job that was done. I will definitely recommend family and friends to this location and to Charlie whenever they need work done on there cars.

I was in a rush and Charlie helped me with my tires with enough time to spare! The price was way better than the dealership. The sitting area was comfortable and clean. I would recommend this spot to anyone.

I have been here a few times for oil changes and they have been fine but stay away for any other maintenance. They try and sell you on services you don’t need and are dishonest. Dropped my wife’s car off in the morning for an oil change and she is told she needs brake pad replacement(she just had them replaced a year ago by our mechanic). I drop my car off in the afternoon for an inspection and they tell me I need brake pads also or the car won’t pass inspection. I declined the service and took the car the following day to my actual mechanic and he said the brakes are fine and it passed inspection. Seems like they try and sell everyone that they require new brakes. It’s a shame they try and take advantage of trusting people who may not know any better. They lost any future business of ours.

Charlie killed it! I came in from out of town to find my parents desperately needed new tires on there car. I had a very limited time frame to get this work done. Charlie got the tires that I needed there within a day, and was willing to work with me on price. I was able to drop the car off on a Sunday morning and pick the car up after hours when complete. These guys were quick, professional and true to their word. So great to know there is still integrity in the automotive industry. Couldnt have asked for better service. My tire had a nail in it yesterday and it was losing air. Brought my car to a Mavis competitor yesterday. After waiting for over 3 hours by the competitor, I was told I needed a new tire but that they couldn’t locate a tire for me. Was told they would “do me a favor” and put my spare on with no charge. Left there and swore I’d never go back. Made a reservation online for this morning at Mavis in Bethpage to have the tire fixed. Less than two hours later, my car was done and no new tire was needed. They were able to plug my tire while I was told yesterday that I would need a new one. Not only was the staff at Mavis incredibly helpful, they made this whole aggravating experience so much more pleasant. Quick, efficient, and saved me a ton of money. Their honesty was so appreciated and will absolutely be going back! Thank you to the hardworking staff at Mavis Bethpage!

Do not waste you r time with this establishment. I made an appointment on-line a week before for a NYS Vehicle inspection on the MAVIS website for 4 PM Sept 18th. Only to arrive at 3:45PM and have them tell me the appointment was canceled. The shop was full and they did not have time to do it. I received a reminder via email at 10 AM for the appointment. They said that being I made an appointment online it had nothing to do with them. Why even have such a system set up if a shop cannot manage there resources to accommodate and schedule appointments made online. Complete waste of time. Wound up going to FIRESTONE right down the street and they were so pleasant and were able to do the inspection right then and there. Great Staff at FIRESTONE.

I had my car towed here for emergency repair as it broke down on the road. I never before dealt with an auto repair service that did not have a mechanic on premises and they did not know when there will be one. As a result, I had to have it towed elsewhere and paid a fortune doing so. I dont know how their tire and break services are. Just dont bring your car there if you need emergency repair.

I typically go to Mavis for inspections and oil changes and I love the customer service from Charlie at the front desk! Hes always so kind and welcoming. Theres not a lot of waiting space to sit, but theres a dunkin donuts and a diner next door so theres plenty of places to grab something/relax while you wait.

Reasonabke tire prices but be careful, this shop recommends unnecesary services and has lied about the condition of my car to sell services. Always get a 2nd opinion before buying services from this establishment.

Very disappointed in their price quotes the give you recently went there for 2 tires to be mounted with a 4 wheel sling meant Got a call that my front axel boots were torn and recommend replacement quoted a price of 200 each axel when I showed up to pick up car and was told bill was 923.30 what a bait and switch deal never to return and totally unsatisfied

Very clean and was price competitive. The time was a little longer then expected but they called to let me know. Very friendly overall good experience. Spent more $ then i wanted but that was on me not them.

My boyfriend and I made an appointment to get our cars inspected. The appointment was made specifically for a NYS inspection, and we made the appointments more than a week in advance. We show up for our appointment and are told that they aren’t doing inspections today, and to come back a different day. It would have taken them 30 seconds to call us ahead of time so we didn’t waste our time driving here. We weren’t offered any explanation and the man had awful customer service. Wouldn’t recommend this location, we will not be coming back.

NEVER come here for an inspection! I was fed a BS story about how my rotors where shot. When I asked for the micrometer measurements (the correct way to tell if a rotor wont pass inspection) I was told we dont have one of those. When I asked who the licensed inspector was, I was told you dont have to worry about that. This place does not deserve to have an inspection license.

Came in for an oil change and wow were they fast. the workers were so kind and gave such great information. they even answered all my questions and gave me amazing prices for tires!! the manager i believe his name was charlie was so delightful and helped me in every way he could! i highly recommend this place by far the best mechanics shop and best mavis ive been too!! 10/10 recommend!!

I stopped by yesterday and asked Charlie if they could do an oil change and alignment but he said he was to busy. How long a wait would it be if I wait. About 45 minutes he said.At home I made an online appointment for 1:00pm today. Scheduled it for a wheel alignment and oil change.I received this appointment number 415239I arrive at 12:50 advise Charlie I have a 1:00 appointment. Charlie asks my name, searches, no you’re not here. Charlie asked for more information, searches and can’t find it. I give Charlie the the “appointment number”. Not sure if he ever found anything.Charlie says well there’s an alignment on the rack and then this guy is before you.I asked Charlie why this happened. The discussion went south from there.Charlie should not be conducting business with customers. He seems to have no respect for his job.

Made an appointment for 11 am. Arrived 10 minutes early. I was told a lot of customers in front of you it’s gonna be a while. On line appointment was a waste of time.Three guys in shop F bombing each other. I was tempted to call police concerned about violence. Don’t deserve 1 star

Called to make an appointment for inspection, got email confirmation with order number. Got there in 13 minutes and was told they can’t do it the guy who does inspection is leaving for the day. They saw the appointment is confirmed in the system but still refused to service. So much for no appointment needed because they don’t honor their appointment!

The worst customer service you can get, left my car 10am in the morning for the tyre valve replacement. Came back to pick up around 5pm. They havent even touch the car and argued over it instead of fixing. Had to use spare to go to a gas station. They fixed everything within 45min. Wish I can give them 0 for their attitude.

Been here a couple of times and they are pretty fairly priced and they don’t try to put one over on you like some other auto shops. They seem to genuinely care about their customers and do their best to accommodate them as much as possible. Dropped my car off For brakes.they never called me to tell me what’s going on after 3 hours I called to see what was going on and they said I need rotors it would be 275 then when I get my car the guy behind the counter says 275 plus tax 385 when I ask how that’s possible he says 80 dollars in labor I would think when given the price of the job labor should be included

A friend and I both needed some tire help and went to this Mavis. She had a tire that had been patched twice and wasnt holding, and I needed my tires rotated. Booker was fantastic. He made the whole process so easy and comfortable. Booker correctly patched her tire and got my tires rotated no problem. This is a very affordable place for tire maintenence.

Brought my tire in to get fixed. So far Very Good impressions. Staff at the counter are very professional and respectful. Witnessed staff deal with an irate customer with the highest level of professionalism without reaching the same level. All this while waiting for the customer to come down from his high. The issue was resolved after a few min. Only reason I gave a 4 star is because the wait is a lil longer than used to but, no where near as long as other companies in the area. Do not hesitate to bring your car to this location.

I came here today thinking that all of my brakes were shot but was pleasantly surprised to find out that they were still fine and my car passed inspection. This is why I have been coming here for over 20 years. They never do unnecessary work and always treat you fairly.

DO NOT GO HERE!! If I could give this place a 0 I would. I called an made an appointment to have snow tires put on. I show up and they tell me “corporate cancelled the appointment”. I received no phone call or an explanation as to why. Then they tell me they don’t even have the tires in stock. They call other places, find tires and I leave happy right? WRONG. I call back at 3 pm to check on the status because I was there at 10 in the morning. They proceed to tell me they didn’t get the right size tires, they don’t have the tires, they weren’t even looking to find other tires and I GOT NO PHONE CALL. When I asked them if they were going to continue to look before they close or come get my car they said “come get your car”.Worst service I have EVER had. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Went there for a flat tire. Was told they would call me with what they found. Thought for sure they would say I had to get a new tire. Was pleasantly surprised when they called said they could just repair the tire for $16 and they also let me know I had a small slash on the opposite tire but it wasnt a problem yet. Recommended new tires but was not pushy at all.

Mavis refused to honor a refund for tires that didnt live up to their guarantee. After visiting the shop multiple times, they refused to help and were incredibly rude. With so many options on the same street I would recommend taking your tire business elsewhere. I ended up going down the block to House of Tires and they refunded me $70 each tire, where Mavis refused. Theyre clearly more interested in selling than maintaining positive customer relationships that result in repeat business.

I took my SUV to Mavis for an inspection. Since the car has almost 60,000 miles on it, I told them to be sure to check the brakes. They called to tell me that the front pads were almost due to be changed, but everything else looked good. I dont like to take any chances with brakes, so I told them to change the pads. They changed the pads only, and I was on my way. I have used this Mavis location for over ten years, and they have been reliable and honest. I recommend them to my kids and friends.

These people lie and cheat to get your money anyway possible. They are not interested in fixing your car at all. I took the day off today to get tires put on my van. The manager, whose name was Bill, told me to call at 1 oclock and they would get me in by 3 oclock. Although I ordered my tires on Wednesday and tried to make an appointment for today (Friday)the manager told me dont worry about it just come in and well take care of you. After calling I was told they had a line of cars and that I should have dropped my car off like I was told to. However I was never told to drop off my car or I would have. Long story short didnt get tires put on my van. I called the corporate office who told me to go to the East Meadow store and that they would give me a discount for my inconvenience. When I got to the East Meadow store they refused to give me a discount and said they knew nothing about it even though the woman behind the desk whose name was Liz told me the name of the customer service representative who I had spoken to. Her name was Kelsey. I would never give Mavis any of my money again. I would recommend trying to make your own tires in your backyard before going to this company. You would probably have a better chance at satisfaction. My experience with this company was horrible. Big thumbs down from me.

I brought my Jeep for oil change and they left drain plug loose. I lost half of the oil while I was driving to go to PA. Thanks God that drain plug did not come completely out while I was driving. It could have seized my engine on a freeway. Very dangerous. I will never come to this place for any service and will NOT recommend any one to go there for any service.

Had to bring my car in twice to fix a slow leak in the tire. Took 3+ hours to fix it each time?!! Ppl working there don’t seem to care much at all.

After my trip to the Mavis in Hicksville on Broadway 3-24-2020 Person at desk was very rude, quoted me two weeks ago $200 for front & rear brakes, tax, labor & parts,Now he says $350, I asked what happened to the $200, he said I have to get the rear disk pads as many cars don’t have them anymore.I said forget it, he said oh well goodbye,Very rude & unprofessional

Terrible Service! Stay Away! I have been giving them business for many years but after today no way! I made an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation and brake check (which i purchased from them), the day before via online for 10am. Arrived on time and they told me cant do the oil change tanks are full. He said i was the only one scheduled for an oil change and because no one had picked up their waste oil they couldnt do it. I asked them why didnt anyone call me to let me know? They had time to call me. All Joe and another worker said well sorry cant do it . I had a right to be upset and they didnt seem to care at all. Not even volunteer a solution to somehow rectify the situation or say come back and well make it up somehow? Just RUDE, ARROGANT, TERRIBLE, CUSTOMER SERVICE ! They will not get my business anymore including the other 3 cars we have purchased tires for. MAVIS CORPORATE WAKE UP! YOU ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS.

If I could leave 0 stars I would, bunch of crooks. Theyll try to tell you that you need things fixed on your car that arent even broken. Theyre all about the money and the sales, not fixing your car or helping you. Run far away and find yourself a real Mechanic thats trustworthy and honest.
