Seems like the Crowder Jr. of years past is gone. E-mails are not returned, little or no effort is put into quotation requests, and phone call returns are non-existent. I really miss the days when Gary was responsible for quotations and problem solving. If he couldnt help someone out (which was rare), he got back to you right away and let you know. The level of service is so low now that I cant waste any more time even making a phone call or sending an e-mail. Sad, after using (and recommending!) Crowder for over 25 years at three different manufacturing operations.
I couldn’t be more pleased with the service we received. We brought in a motor that another shop said wasn’t worth repairing. George, one of the owners took a look at it, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it while we waited. We weren’t even some commercial concern with the prospect of repeat business, just a couple of homeowners with the motor out of an old bandsaw. Of course, we are now customers for life.
Great shop and understand the importance of limiting downtime. Got my parts in and out in less than an hour on an unplanned visit.
Been around 104 years, know what they are doing, quality work.
Great place to do business with.
