I’ve been to hair stylists from NYC to PHL and I never felt a true transformation! Several months ago as I was driving passed From Hair To Eternity, I was drawn in. Wow where do I begin? Valerie was absolutely amazing. When I came into her salon and told her I wanted a perm we sat down and discussed the healthiness of my hair. Valerie was very honest with me and showed me how much damage I had on my hair (I hadn’t been to a hair salon in 10 years!) After our discussion we decided in order for my hair to not be further damaged by the perm, we had to cut off the dead hair beforehand. Let me tell you — my hair is the HEALTHIEST it has ever been. I’m so happy with how it turned out. Valerie is extremely personable. Time literally flew by with her. It’s like talking to and old friend. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone!! My hair was in horrible shape. Very dry, damaged and without style. Searched and finally found Hair to Eternity. Filled out the online form and received a response in minutes. Spoke with Valerie who took all the time to chat, answer my questions, joke around and basically made me feel comfortable and excited to try the Brazilian Blowout. I called on a Thursday and she was able to make a Saturday morning appointment for me with Heather. Both of these ladies are amazing, talented and kind! My hair came out great, really love it and very easy for me to manage and style by myself. This was my first experience at this salon “From Hair To Eternity” and it won’t be my last! Valerie is so kind, caring and has a calming presence about her. The moment I walked in her salon she made me feel so welcome. My hair was long, layered, brittle and over processed. I really needed my hair repaired and was a little anxious. During my consultation, Valerie was a great listener and communicator. She gave me her thoughts and made me feel so relaxed I knew this was going to be a great experience. We decided to cut and color my hair, she also gave me a Brazilian hair treatment. Wow, my hair is totally transformed! Its so silky, full of body and bounce.! I had a hair appointment cancelled and I called From Hair to Eternity and Valerie was able to accommodate my schedule immediately!The first time I saw Valerie she rescued an old worn out perm by giving me a fabulous cut, and a Brazil Blowout Treatment. Just the cut alone help revive the bounce in what was left in the perm; the treatment removed the dryness and dullness from hair too.The second time I went back was to have a new Beachy Wave perm - to revive the curls that were growing out. The result was perfect - and the perm still left my hair soft and touchable.At 63, she has offered some wonderful advice on how to care for my hair and skin. I have loved all the product suggestions she has given me (both hair and skin).If you want a place that feels like you are going to meet with a friend, and feel confident when you leave -- this is the salon to go to.

I love my hair cut from Valerie. She’s kind, friendly and enthusiastic professional, she gave me new personality with a suitable cut. My only concern was communication, as it is not so updated. To schedule a basic appointment is stressful for no good reason. Also her prices are little expensive so be mindful on that. Overall I had great experience.

Valerie, Vivian, and Rebecca all did an amazing job with my bridal party earlier this month for my wedding reception. The salon was welcoming with snacks and music set up when we got there. Vivian is incredibly skilled with braiding and was so quick with long hair, keeping us on schedule. Valerie paid close attention to detail, helping fix stray hairs and making sure we all felt great before leaving the salon. Rebecca did a fantastic job with makeup, matching everyone’s complexion beautifully. She did a great job on my mother and mother-in-law’s mature skin and they both felt comfortable despite rarely wearing makeup. They also typically do not do Sunday weddings, but made special accommodations for me which was greatly appreciated!

My bridal party and I had our hair and makeup done here, and it was beyond incredible! The owner, Val, was so kind and you can tell she is very experienced. Rebecca and Heather were also fabulous! Our makeup was gorgeous and stayed on all night! I was really sweating at one point, and you’d never know it. Everyone’s hair stayed put all night as well, and even into the next day. They all were very patient with us and got every detail perfect! Val also cut my mom’s hair, and it was amazing. My mother has never left a salon without having to redo her hair before. She did exactly what my mom asked for and made it perfect. She also paid so much attention to everything I was looking for with my hair, and helped me pick styles to go with my face, which was super helpful since I struggle knowing exactly what will look good on me and what won’t. Everyone was very professional, clean, and so full of love. She also made sure our health and safety was a priority during this time, while also making sure we were comfortable and had the best experience we possibly could. She addressed every concern I had and made the entire experience completely stress-free. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this salon! I would recommend her to anyone!

Obsessed. Amazed. Completely satisfied.I live in Brooklyn and have been looking for a salon that gives high quality curly hair cuts for a reasonable price (understanding that you pay for quality, but I was not looking to get overcharged). Valerie immediately me feel at home in her (adorable) salon. She sat and we conversed about where my hair was, where I wanted it to be, and the realistic actions we could take before we even got to a wash. She pays extreme attention to detail and explained everything she was doing from the moment she washed my hair to the final getting spray. Needless to say, her attention to detail and her consistent check ins through the entire process made me feel safe and confident that the look I was getting was the look I wanted. Gone are the days of sitting in a chair, feeling like you want to say something, but not feeling like you could- Valerie goes above and beyond to get you the look you want through the partnership we all deserve to have with our hair stylists. And to top it all off the price I paid for a total transformation was BEYOND reasonable and about a fraction of what I was being quoted by at least a dozen other “boutique” salons in the city. Guys and gals run, don’t walk, to Valerie and get the look of your dreams!

Way to expensive. Charged $139.95 for a haircut and hair product. She did not even wash my hair. Charged 20.00 extra for thick hair. She gave me a good haircut but definitely not worth the money. Charged New York city prices in Bethlehem.Im sorry but I have to respond to your response. My hair is a little thick but doesnt warrant being charged 20.00 extra to cut. And as for your experience and expertise you are not worth 95.00 for a 30 minute hair cut. As I stated in my original review you did not even wash my hair. Just want people looking for a place to go for a haircut to know that you are WAY overpriced!!!

I read about Valerie through reviews that’s what brought me and her together. I read so many great things and I needed someone who was an artist with hair. My hair has been thinning since I have birth to my son 17 years ago. But lately it has been worse because I was taking makeup to cover my balding areas. I was stressed about my hair and my hair thinning and I’m only 33 years old. So I needed to find someone that can give me life to this hair again. So I found Valerie! She is great! I seen Val for the first time last week. I initially scheduled an appt for a perm. My hair was dead and lifeless and I needed a change. Val was very attentive and took the time to talk to me about my hair and its condition. We decided that my hair could not withstand a perm and we opted for a cut and Brazilian treatment. We cut off like 14 inches of hair and now I have a beautiful pixie cut. She took the time to show me how to care and style my new hair after we were finished. I didnt realize the salon was closed on Saturday, so I called to schedule an appointment. Valerie was there taking care of a few things and answered the phone. I explained to her that I have very curly hair and havent been able to find anyone (in almost a year) who cut it the way I like it. She told me to come in right then and let her see what she could do. I went over and we discussed many options for about 45 minutes. She wasnt pushy or overbearing and I felt very comfortable with her. She cut my curly hair and it looks fantastic! She cut and shaped it perfectly. Valerie spent almost three hours with me on a Saturday morning when she could have been anywhere else on her day off. She took the time to make sure I was comfortable with my cut, showed me ways to style my hair to help cover the gray, and encouraged me not to get highlights or color, but to let the gray take over! Valerie is amazing. She has definitely earned my loyalty.

Val (owner) is literally the best hair designer I have ever been too in my life. She is beyond skilled at her craft and has a gorgeous spotless studio. Highly recommended before COVID-19, now, I wouldnt even think about going to another place. Its just you and her and know one else. Literally she will not let you leave her salon unless you look perfect. With extras she is a little more pricey compared to a basic hair salon but, you definitely get what you pay for. I absolutely adore her and thats just a bonus because, even if she wasnt an awesome person (which she is), I would still go back to her because she is that good at cutting hair. 10 out of 10!!!!

Due to a genetic condition I have had progressive thinning of my hair so getting my hair cut and styled had always been an embarrassing and traumatic experience. When I moved to Bethlehem 17 yrs ago I was introduced to Valerie who, with her tremendous talent and skill, could make even my hair look great . She was kind and caring and made me feel comfortable. As my hair got thinner there wasnt much I could do with it so I kept it short trimming it on my own. I finally made the leap and bought a few beautiful natural human hair wigs that although of good quality needed a professional cut and style. My hair was a total mess due to COVID lockdown. Booked my first appointment with Val and let me tell you she is amazing. I have curly hair and I needed someone who knew how to cut it properly. Valerie and Heather are a true Godsend when it comes to hair textures! I am African American with natural curly hair. I butchered my hair during quarantine from shoulder length to above the ears😱😱!! Due to a keratin treatment i received last year, my hair was severely damaged. I was promised that my curls would snap back after about 7 months, yet i was left with semi curly to stringy straight thin hair that was super dry and brittle. LADIES, STAY FAR AWAY FROM KERATIN treatments if you love your curls! Valerie gave me the most honest informative consultation about my hair. When I became sick 2 years ago I lost most of my hair. When it did start to grow back it came in patchy and crimpy. I called it my chicken fuzz. This was one of the best salon experiences I have ever had. From the moment I walked in I was greeted immediately by a wonderful women, Val. She was very welcoming and inviting. The experience at this salon was incredible. Val really makes you feel like family, and is extraordinarily accommodating-she even met me at 7:30 in the morning to make sure I got in. I planned on getting a body wave, and she talked me through every step and even encouraged me to go a bit curlier. It turned out great, and theres no damage to my hair whatsoever. She knows hair better than any hairdresser I have ever encountered, and Im so impressed with her services.

I have had the pleasure of going to Valeries salon for about 10 years now. In that ten years time, I have never been disappointed with anything that Val has done with my hair. I have, for lack of a better name, dirty blonde hair, but for some reason when most have tried to lighten my hair, it always pulls a red color. Ive been going to Val for about two years now. She does beautiful color work and she recently just gave me a beautiful ash blonde baylage treatment. She always is professional and very kind. Her salon is very neat and clean and she really works with you to achieve the look that you want. She is such a sweet person and she really makes you feel comfortable when youre with her. I would recommend going here to anyone that asks!

I highly recomend Valerie at From Hair to Eternity. When I first went to her salon my hair was dry and brittal. Valerie took the time to listened to me on how I wanted my hair to look and she gave wonderful recommendations to get that look. She spent so much time with me and even showed my ways to style my hair so I could get the desired look at home. I always love the color and cuts that I get. Valerie is a beautiful person and talented stylist. I am blessed that I found her and her salon.

So this is my moms account, but Valerie did an absolutely amazing job cutting my hair. I have thick curly hair and it is really difficult to find someone to cut it properly. Definitely recommend this salon!

I recently moved to the area and was in search for a new hair salon. After searching the internet and reading a ton of reviews for so many salons, I decided to give Val at From Hair To Eternity a call. I am so happy I did! Today I had my first appointment and am extremely pleased with the results. It had been 4 months since I had my hair cut and colored and Val succeeded in bringing my hair back to life! She first sat down with me for a consultation, examined my hair, shared some suggestions, and then got down to business. She explained what she was doing every step of the way making sure that we were in sync as to what I would have done. The salon is nicely decorated, impeccably clean and Val makes you feel at ease with friendly conversation while the music softly plays in the background. I walked out of the salon so very happy with my new shiny, healthy-looking style. I will definitely be back!

Stopped by today and spent the next 5 hours being transformed! Valerie is an excellent colorist and gave me a cut that is extremely flattering. Heather did the Brazilian Blow out and all i can say is just amazing. I was beginning to think i would never get rid of the frizz but they worked magic.Would highly recommend this salon, to anyone who asks and I do not give reviews often but this is an exception. For the past few years Ive struggled to find a stylist that not only took the time to help me but to leave me feeling satisfied. I have really thick hair and it can come as a huge challenge to a lot of stylists. I googled hair salons near me and From Hair to Eternity was the first to pop up so I decided to take a chance and make an appointment. Yesterday was my appointment, and I was immediately greeted by Valerie who made me feel so comfortable and at home. I gave her some ideas of what I was looking for and she gave me her honest opinions in return and began her work. Not long after I just let her do her own thing on my hair because I trusted her. I left the salon an entirely different person that day and I could not thank Valerie enough for everything she did to make me feel as confident as possible. To say she went above and beyond for me would be an understatement, she was very honest and upfront, patient with my very difficult hair, and her personality made the experience a lot more better for me. I definitely recommend From Hair to Eternity to anyone in need of a total makeover and I cant wait to revisit.

The name of her business says it all! Go in with your hair however it naturally is and leave with the cut/style and customer/stylist relationship you want for eternity. I am eternally grateful to Val for the cut/style she did for me! Its a funky edgy fo-hawk thing which you may not know what I mean but she did. Shes straight forward, honest, makes suggestions, and she works with you! If you take her up on her product suggestions (which you totally should because they work) stick with them and how she says to use them! Shes trying to help make your beauty life easier and when thats all together somehow it makes life easier. Plus, she keeps you excited about your hair with all the things she suggests with your look and style. And knowing that youre in great hands lets you feel free to take her up on it because she will not let you leave looking any less than gorgeous! Im definitely going back to have her do what she suggested, I just gotta decide which ones to do! Im so STOKED I found my stylist for life!

Found Valerie after reading numerous internet reviews. Just recently moved to the area and desperately needed a new hairstylist! I filled out the email appointment form and received a prompt response from Valerie for a beach wave perm appointment. Now perms these days are not as popular as straightening treatments so I was nervous that I would be able to find someone experienced who could do it well. And wow! First time in my life I got a perm WITHOUT frizz afterwards, just perfectly wavy hair that looks natural! It really helped that Valerie spent time trimming the split ends I did have prior to perming my hair! All in all a really nice, relaxing experience.

The receptionist has a big attitude. Cut me off, couldnt discuss how much a childs hair cut would cost or even make an appointment. I live close and wanted to shop local. Sorry, but no thanks.
