Incredibly responsive and convenient! I had a bow picked up, rehaired, and returned to me within a day. And their rental instruments are of much higher quality than general music stores. Bethesda violins is faster than ordering online, and we are happy to support a local business.

The owner is a very good person. My daughter is undergoing a bone marrow transplant at NIH and is her for 100 days. My other daughter comes with me to visit every few weeks. Bethesda Violins was kind enough to rent us a violin at no charge while we are here so that my daughter doesnt fall behind on her schoolwork. Its so great to have kind and generous people here to help us during this time.

I recently rented from Bethesda Violins while visiting family in the area on holiday. I was very pleasantly surprised with the sound quality of the violins at their price point. Playing for ten years growing up, I had played on lot of violins with varying quality. The new violin I rented from Bethesda had sound quality almost as good as a hundred-year-old violin I used to play on. It made picking up the instrument for the first time in four years much easier, and very enjoyable. (Also, excellent quality of service)

Great new shop in Bethesda. I happened upon this place while running errands and walked in to get strings. The owner is very friendly and answered all my questions. Everything is brand new and the instruments look very nice. Happy to see a new strings place in the heart of downtown Bethesda.
