I shop here every few months when I can get into Bethel. The last time I went to get fresh fruit and vegetables for my family they were out of pretty much Everything. They were also out of most of their bulk frozen foods and frozen berries.This place is basically like a very expensive Walmart. Many of the food items that are available in our village are the same price as the AC or slightly cheaper. We shop here mostly for the variety of fresh food.Dont do bush orders from here. They have messed up most of the orders I have called in. I am Very specific when I call in an order and I have told them Not to make substitutions at all and they still just grab whatever resembles the items on the order. For example I asked for 2 of the large family size bags of iceburg lettuce mix. I was sent 12....yes 12 small bags of a variety of lettuces. Some iceburg mix, some romaine mix, and Lots of spring mix which my kids dont eat. I asked for 10 pounds of Gala or Fuji apples. I was sent 10 pounds of Washington apples. I asked for 3 bags of mandarin oranges I was sent loose oranges.They did pack my 2 flats of eggs really well so none of the eggs were broken when we got them which was nice.The staff at the AC is for the most part friendly and the store is clean. We will continue to shop here but we probably wont be calling in any more bush orders.

Pricey!! However they have most of the products I would buy from down states. The best, most stocked time to go is the first of the month. Unless the fruit/veggies are in season watch for mold and rot....especially the fresh berries.

Its nice and clean place but high price and it as to much low fat ice-cream at very price, and all profit goes to Canada

There is everything you need in a simple 9 aisle store and the staff are friendly and very helpful

Largest grocery store in town, also has the best selection of fresh produce.

Its a busy family store with everything you want. The staff treat you well and you meet many people who you might know or just meet new people. Its a pleasant experience to Shop at AC Store.

Good selection, but be prepared for high prices. I definitely had some sticker shock going in here after coming from the lower 48. Ended up spending 70$ on a small box of items. But hey, if you need it, this is the place to go. Think of it like a smaller Costco or Walmart. Bulk item section, GCI phone and internet company inside, coolers, 4 wheelers, meats, dairy, cooking utensils, etc. They have a little bit of everything. Just be prepared to pay more for it.

The employees are very kind and helpful. Whats great is, they ask if we need help getting bags or boxes out to our vehicle after checking out. They keep the front clean and put carts away. Almost always have smiles on their faces which brightens the place up. The deli is nice, all the staff are great, Tim is doing a great job. Produce is always fresh, love the discounts and sales they have every now and then. Seth is doing a great job keeping the store in good shape, maintenance is a great team. Cashiers do amazing greeting customers, making sure they got everything they need, even check the back when something isnt in the front. All together, its a great place to shop. Prices are high but overall its not too bad. I used to work in customer service, I do have to say this; certain managers can really do better. Its sad to see when customer service is really busy and all you see is managers just standing around. I hated that when I was working there. Del was supposed to be training me when I worked there at the time, it would get so busy Id be working two computers doing western union and checking accounts and working the 10 or less lane; shed just be standing there glaring at me for god knows how long. I had previous experience working as a cashier and customer service, so I got by until I just had enough of it... AC is great, but certain managers still need more training on treating the employees better. I still hear way too many complaints from cashiers up front about certain managers appearing lazy and having bad attitudes all the time. Besides that, AC is a great place. Gertrude is amazing up in clothing, she is by far the friendliest as far as Ive noticed.
