Youre going to find most of the hardware needed for plumbing, the prices are great

A favorite handyman spot. Eastern carries plumbing supplies that are rated, and will past inspection without going to several supply houses. Vent pipes, drain, and supply!Cuts and threads, little or no weighting. These folks have the right stuff.

Great store with tons of merchandise. They always have what I need, friendly knowledgeable service. Every clerk has memorized the location of every item, even the tiny stuff. We are lucky to have them in Berkeley.

I had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday morning and needed a valve stem for a 70-year old shower. Ashby Lumber did not have it. I walked into Eastern and the owner immediately produced an exact replacement. Not only that, he advised me that the valve seat was probably also damaged and should be replaced. He had that part in stock also, along with the tool for extracting it. He gave me valuable advice how to go about making the repair. An hour later I completed the job. Im grateful to the owner for being open on a Sunday morning, for having the parts, and for his expert advice. This is the best kind of store.

I love this hardware store! The people who work there actually know something about hardware: what’s needed for a project, how to use a tool, basically the best item to buy for a specific need. Eastern Supply is also cheaper than the mega hardwares. Check them out.

Great hardware store with friendly and helpful staff. They stock almost everything you would need for home projects and very will thread iron pipe to size and cut a range of glass in minutes, so much easier than spending hours trying to find someone to help you in Home Depot! Prices are also very reasonable and often cheaper than the big box stores.

Staff is nice. Aisles are narrow. They had what I needed.

This True Value Eastern Supplies hardware store is a hidden gem of hardware store in Berkeley. The customer service is always friendly, they are very helpful for whatever project / hat your putting for the day. Love this place!

Way better service than Home Depot, and prices really about the same, and maybe less. They will even cut glass for you..nice and friendly. Giveem a call and ask for what you need on the spot. Easy.

It had almost everything I need at an affordable price. The staff dosent seem that knowledgeable about some of the items they own or sometimes there was a language barrier. But they were over pushy or rude. More like make your purchase, handle your bussiness and then move along. I kinda want to rate this three stars honestly. But Im being kind they just barely earned the fourth star.

People who work there are totally out to lunch. No help whatsoever. Went in there to buy about $300 worth of stuff. Walked out a few minutes later, I’m going somewhere else.

Their facade on the photo on Street View made me worry theyd just have electrical and plumbing supplies. Actually they have a variety of inventory, including painting, yardwork, and cleaning supplies, and they had everything I needed.

Good prices but lack of knowledge for some of the workers.

Rude I bought stuff for my new apartment and asked for a bag he had three different sizes hanging next to him and he wouldnt give me one I walked half a mile with it in my hands cheap skate
