Cute little shop with a nice variety of flavors, even at the end of the day. I had peppermint chocolate. The cake was delicious! The frosting was a little strong, but I like a little mint, so someone who likes it a lot would have been very pleased. My partner had vanilla and it was perfect! Great cake and frosting texture. Perfect white cake 👌🏽

A Friend recommend and I ordered my daughters 1st birthday cake. The cake was yummmmm all my guest loved it and asked where I got the cake. They even made the same design and very good customer service.

Extremely satisfied with their last minute service to us on my first visit with them. They made an awesome cake for my babys bday. The cake was chocolate with vanilla and vegan because we recently discovered our little is allergic to eggs. It was delicious!! Definitely going back.

I can only offer an opinion on the gluten free chocolate cupcake. I havent had a cupcake in a long time because gluten hates me. I stopped in today and asked for the gluten free option and the person who sold it to me said they wanted to know what I thought -- well, it was amazing!!!

Their cakes are really good, unfortunately the service is not. Ive ordered many cakes from them but the last orders felt like theyre doing me a HUGE favor by making my cakes. Whenever I call to order they sound like it is a huge problem for them to make fondant figurines or fondant decorations. There used to be a really nice lady who would ask me to even send pictures of how I wanted the cake to look like, but the last two cakes I ordered unfortunately were not pretty, and I dont think they cared.The person who answers the phone sounds absolutely condescending when taking your orders. I Used to drive from San Francisco just because of their nice service and awesome cakes but I will find another bakery near me.

A cute little spot serving the best cupcakes that Ive had in the Bay Area. Favorite flavors are Chocolate Pistachio, Coconut, Chocolate Mudpie.They do cakes as well. I ordered once for a birthday and found the cakes to be a bit too overpowering with sugar (must be the the same proportion of sugar - just the fact that you are eating more of it :) ). I would probably stick to just ordering cupcakes from here.

Wow!! Love at First Bite made my birthday truly special. Somehow my best friend in NJ ordered me cupcakes and my boyfriend got me a cake from this bakery - without knowing! Well, my birthday cupcakes were delivered to the wrong house accidentally (wrong address was provided) and when I went to sleuth them out, they were no where to be found! Never fear, Pat was there to bring me a new batch shortly. A few hours later I was surprised with the most delicious and beautiful rainbow cake I’ve ever seen. Thank you thank you Love at First Bite! I just stopped in hoping to find a chocolate cupcake with mint icing for my wife’s birthday. Many places have said they can’t help me but these amazing ladies just asked me if I could wait a couple of minutes and they would make a few. I’m sure they are going to taste amazing but worth the 5 stars on customer service alone!

I absolutely love the cupcakes here. I never used to eat cupcake since they tend to lack flavor, texture and most of the time too sweet. These cupcakes are the best I ever had. I found them because I was looking to have cupcakes for my wedding base on wedding planning reviews of using cupcakes instead of a traditional cake.I tasted many before I decided on Love at First Bite and I have to tell you it was a Big Hit at my wedding. Everyone still talk about the great cupcakes to this day.I love the mud pie and the red velvet best and so did my husband. For the bride and groom cupcakes I chose the red velvet and he chose mud pie. It was just so beautiful.Their service was great. We got the cupcakes at the time we wanted delivered. They do offer cupcake set up for an additional charge but my friend volunteered to display them. Everything turned beautifully! If you havent try their cupcakes I highly suggest you give it a chance.

Hopefully, a visit is better IN-PERSON.

My daughter and I vote this cupcakery as the best in town! Always consistent, moist, and delicious! We go for the Matcha Green Tea, Red Velvet, Ultimate Chocolate, Classic Vanilla, and Strawberry. Their Rugelach is top notch as well as many other items on display. Can’t go wrong here! We highly recommend!

Love!!! I come here when I have a deep craving for cupcakes. Their black bottom, peanut butter cup, and red velvet are pretty amazing and their cupcakes overall are oh-so-cute. I always come here just for one cupcake, but end up leaving with a flight. Note: theyre not actually on the street, but theyre in the alleyesque complex. Shouldnt be too hard to find though.

Tucked in an alley around the corner from the original Peets Coffee, youll find Love at First Bite. Ive worked with them on a few weddings and I ordered from them for my birthday in April. Definitely the red velvet and cookies and cream are guaranteed to make your mouth dance in delight! The green tea cupcake and pistachio cupcakes are on the novel side of the spectrum and are good but if you are ordering for a party the first two are sure to be the most popular. The prices are average, about $3-3.50 for a full size cupcake. You can pick up cute party supplies, confections and toppers here too.

For her birthday my daughter ordered a two layer vegan chocolate cake with chocolate icing. It merited 10 out of 10 on taste, appearance, texture and beauty of decoration and satisfied 20 people with 1 slender slice per person., . The cocoanut butter (?) vegan icing was marvelous; I think non vegans would choose it over regular buttercream if they knew how good it is. This was a memorable cake. I initially helped select a vegan bakery and was given good information and suggestions by the owner. Thank you Love at First Bite!

Especially for saying sorry because who’s gonna stay made at you when they’re mouth is having a party and all the richest flavours are invited to donate their decadence? By far the most flavourful and rich cupcakes ive ever had. Like damn imma get diabetes if I keep going there. AND the staff is always friendly and polite, like wow they come straight out of the Great British Baking show. The location is hella nice too, kinda secluded and away from folks so you get a nice rich people feeling eating them. #dontgentrify
