I would come back here for several reasons - a wall-to-wall mural of a lush-green meadow overlooking the coast-line, fresh squeezed orange and carrot juice, a busy-yet-quiet old-timey vibe that makes this an easy place to work! Add to that the obvious - coffee, delicious baked goods and free WiFi.

Visiting from Orange County and absolutely loved this place. Friendly service. Beautiful, clean, modern coffee and espresso bar with a delightful selection of hot and cold coffee drinks, salads, and other nibbles. Fresh and good quality ingredients. Conveniently located on 395 before the Bishop and Mammoth coffee shops to get a little caffeine fix for that final stretch up the mountains or as you proceed your drive to your final destination. Definitely will be back!!

How can you not stop in for coffee at a place with this name? Quick service and tasty coffee. Made a nice stop during our visit to San Francisco.

This is truly a perfect coffee shop. Boasting an extensive menu, Brewed Awakening invites studious Cal students looking for a quiet yet bustling place to study outside of campus. Back in the day, it had huge, fluffy couches and low-light lamps. I used to study there for hours. These days, it has a more modern feel, and has still managed to retain its sense of community, stellar coffee and tea, and food items. The prices are also rather reasonable for a place like Berkeley - a true gem! Cannot recommend BA enough.

What a cute coffee shop. This place is pretty packed a lot of people inside. They also sell fresh juices which looked very good. The barista was very friendly and answered any questions I had. My coffee was very good I enjoyed it and the atmosphere was very nice they also had a nice Decour and walking outside to get to the shop with a nice walk everyone seemed pretty friendly. I definitely would come back here again when I am in the area.

They always miss items in my order. The first time I ordered coffee and breakfast muffin and I only got coffee. The second time I ordered coffee and bagel and I only got bagel!! I hope there were other breakfast places on the North side.

Lots of choices, for foods and drinks. Lots of space. Great flat white. Would improve if they had changing station for kids. I didnt find high chair either, but I didnt search for long.

We’re traveling from New Mexico wanted to get some coffee real quick and a bite to eat this place is a hidden gem. We were lucky enough to find it. Breakfast sandwich was so huge and delicious, very impressed. But the coffee was some of the best I have ever had all I can say is Black Riffle Coffee.

Cute coffee shop with a great menu. I had both the cold brew and the mint cold brew. Pretty standard coffee, but I wasnt a big fan of the mint cold brew. Service was pretty fast, the place was populated but I was still able to get my orders very quickly. Also tons of pastries that looked delicious. Free wifi and lots of outlets and comfy chairs. Great place to grab a quick coffee or settle down to get some work done.

I accidentally ordered the wrong drink and they gave me a new one free of charge. Amazing customer service! Drinks are great and toasts are fantastic

Havana coffee (iced mint coffee) was pretty good, nothing that will blow your mind, but it is refreshing. Pastry experience was terrible, carrot muffin was basically inedible. Too sweet and unbelievably chewy. Plenty of seating and some outlets, okay for studying or working. There is a restroom available but it is a bit dingy. Service was average.

I love their Energizer smoothies! Coffee drinks are good too, and they have a larger supply of pastries than some of the other cafes in the area.

Nice cozy little coffee shop with a wonderful selection of healthy, organic and even vegan pastry options. I was in town visiting family and was looking for a close by spot to grab some coffee and a quick bite to eat. I was not disappointed with my random stop at Brewed Awakening. The owners were very friendly and attentive to customers. Im a plain black coffee kind if guy so the taste of coffee actually matters to me and I have to say I was very pleased. We ordered a couple of drinks as well as some pastries, a fruit salad and even some local vegan granola bar thingies. All in all, we were happy with everything we got and appreciated the friendliness of their service. While Im not local and probably wont be in the area again for some time, I would highly recommend anyone local or just passing through to stop in and give them a try.

We got Thai Iced Coffee and Thai Iced Tea. Both were really good! Delicious balance of sweetness :)

Lovely decorations and a very comfortable environment to work, meet, or read. It might get a little loud at times but it’s the kind of loud that makes the place feel alive. Their drinks are top-notch and staff is very friendly.

This was my go-to coffee shop while visiting for a week. The latte was always right and the baked goods are marvelous. Ample seating, always busy. Juices and smoothies looked good, too. Quick & kind service!

Great place to study or work with a wide selection of coffees and other beverages! The only thing that was lacking was the avocado toast with egg which was untoasted bread with some avocado and a hard boiled egg cut up.

Its a nice place to read and have a light bite. However their brewed black coffee is horrible. Ive been going there for 5 years theyre doing much better.

The brewed coffee is burnt and the espresso drinks are extremely inconsistent - Ive had excellent ones and ones that looked and tasted like they came out of a bad vending machine depending on whos working. Unfortunately, in my opinion this is the best option for coffee on Euclid.

New design up front, presumably new owners. Staff was not very friendly. Cappuccino however was excellent. I would invest in making the staff more enthusiastic...

The locale is great and the staff is really friendly. I wish the coffee didnt taste as burned as if does for the price that you pay. Also the internet is really slow and unreliable. Those are only two issues, but the place is great either wise.

Pleasant space. Batch brew coffee was poor and served far too hot. Flat white wasn’t flat and more of a cappuccino really, and again too hot.

I love this place. Great coffee, friendly staff. But today when I bought a calzone, the staff heated it and served it to me, and it was covered in spots of mould. I returned it right away and brought to their attention that many of the other calzones on the shelf for sale were mouldy too. The staff refunded me for it but didn’t apologise or seem too concerned. I hoped for better food hygiene from a place I really love coming to.

Great spot. Good coffee and Nutella toast is delicious. Tables available especially if you come in in the morning before it gets busy, as well as WiFi and outlets to charge your phone or laptop.

This place is definitely one of my go-tos! Its one of very few cafes that are really easily accessible on north side, and their drinks are quite good. I cant speak to their pastries/food, but they do have a good number of snacks and fruit as well. The interior is extremely clean, and the high ceilings/windows add a good amount of natural lighting. Theres plenty of seating and table space, along with wifi. My only (very minor) complaint is that I wish there were more outlets. This is a great place to hang out or get some work done

Clean airy cafe serving coffee pastries and breakfast at normal prices with a good amount of seating and fast wifi. Highly recommend this spot to study as there is a good amount of spots with outlet access and good internet. The chorizo breakfast sandwich is quite tasty, and their coffee is very good.

My favorite cafe, favorite mocha of all time. Atmosphere is great, although at times lively with conversation. Of course sometimes that conversation involves a lot of esoteric topics, given the proximity with the big U.

I dont much like the coffee here or the expensive pastries, and the decor is corporate/plasticky. Go to V&A cafe (which is the new Nefeli) around the corner in Etcheverry Hall

The tea was good, the staff was super friendly. It seems a bit crowded but has fairly ample seating half a block from UC Berkeley and down the hill from PSR, so no surprise on the crowd :-) The bathroom is very clean, the serve counter well-stacked.

Pros:- really fast service (even with espresso drinks)- pastries (tasty, although not fresh)- a lot of seating (though its frequently packed...)Cons:- hot and stuffy (uncomfortably so)- the small size is un-Americanly small- close pretty early for a college townBottom line: I love this cafe when I need a caffeine and snack boost, but I try to avoid staying in here for too long.

This is a cute little cafe right next to berkeley campus. It is a great study spot or morning place to get coffee. I recommend the chai as its much better than starbucks.

My first tine here, and I had the chai latte, which I thought was fairly decent. Its a lot bigger inside than it logs from the street. Didnt have any food, but other people seemed to like it.
