Horrible experience, they took our money and never gave us what we bought. The person at the front had us place a special order and pre pay, they said theyd call us when the books were in. No receipt was given, paid in cash. This was a year ago by now... we keep coming back to check and figure out what happened and we leave our information and they say theyll call but they never do. Scammers

Great bookstore full of surprises

I was there for a book signing. It was excellent! The speakers were brilliant, the store is nice and clean, and the books are a reasonable price. A great place for readers!

Nice boutique book shop with a good selection of Asian-American books. I was here for a poetry reading and they were very accommodating to the attendees and the guest speakers. The staff is very open and resourceful as well if you wanted to promote your own books and do readings not just at the store, but around the area as well. Id recommend checking this shop out if youre in the area.

This place is okay and I say this because the name is pretty freaking awesome. So basically giving this bookstore 3 stars regardless of ever having been inside or even having read anything about the place

This place is a treasure of not only Berkeley, but the entire Asian American community of the San Francisco Bay Area. A purchase or book talk here is definitely worthwhile.
