I had a repair estimate and work done by Fix Auto Berkeley and they are very professional and friendly. Gen & Bruce with take good care of you. The communication and service was perfect and they did top quality work to my car. It looks brand new. I would highly recommend this shop over any other in the East Bay Area.

This company would not even look at the door damage on the car to see if this is something they could fix. He said that they are extremely busy. They could not help. He hung up on me. I called them because the reviews seem good. They have too much business to help you if you need any work done in the short term.

When I pulled into the shop, Bruce was very welcoming and professional. He provided an estimate with detailed information and soon after, called to schedule to bring my car in for repairs. Once repairs were completed, we inspected the car and a itemized statement was provided. I would recommend this auto shop for their promptness and customer service.

The guys who run the shop are very professional and personable. I didn’t feel talked down to or intimidated. Looking young, even though I am very much not, I have had issues at other shops but these guys were pretty just, normal and straightforward. I went through AAA insurance and it was easy. Car was hit while parked and needed the bumper and side panel replaced. They seem to take extra care and pride in their work which is important to me in a shop. They also will drop off your rental car for you when you pick up your car which is really great.

Fix Auto did a solid job at a great value. Our Cat converter was stolen from our Honda Element that was parked in our driveway around 4am. Fix Auto worked directly with our insurance company and they also installed a cat shield! I highly recommend them!

Fix Auto Berkeley was great! My car was recently rear ended while parked in front of my house, shattering the glass light covers and causing damage to the rear panel. I called Fix Berkeley after searching for a body shop with great reviews and they had me come in the next day. Once we scheduled my appointment, it only took 1-1/2 days to have all the work finished. Dino did a great job explaining to me what to expect and it all went as he described. When I picked up my car, the interior had been cleaned (per their Covid guidelines) and the work done was exceptional! I cant say enough great things about Fix Auto Berkeley. I dont want to have another accident but if I do, Ill definitely take my car back there for repairs.

They cracked the windshield on a car that we took to their shop that was not there when the car was left in their care. Upon complaining about it l was ignored some terribly. Even the owner avoided my complaint by brushing me off by saying he was to busy to talk that day and that he gave me his business card and that he would give me a call. Well, l still havent got that call yet and l have left messages and still no response. This shop is not trust worthy they falsify work orders, they damage your car and dont admit to it and not be responsible for it. I have never experienced nothing like this from any business. Even the owner didnt comply. Very very dishonest customer service and a crooked employee and a evasive owner. Beware of service there.

We brought our Prius here after the catalytic converter had been stolen and they did such a good job, for a very reasonable price. I actually think it was some of the best service I have ever received at an auto body shop. They even cleaned the car inside and out after and polished our headlights. Every time I called the staff were very friendly. I dont have to use auto body shops often but if I need one again, Ill know where to go.

With regard to the work done, I am very happy with the outcome; you’d never know the vehicle was in an accident.Another big plus for me was that they were able to finish the vehicle ahead of schedule (7 days to be exact). I had 3 broken windows and scratches on the body from a break-in. They went the extra mile to even cover up scuffs that were there prior to the break-in, so it looked like new.I was very satisfied with the service until it turned out the new cargo cover they put on didn’t fit correctly, and I had to follow up several times as their communication fell to the wayside.

These guys are awesome. Took my car in to have a bumper replaced after I was rearended in an accident. They went above and beyond to fix the bumper and did it quickly as I was expecting for it to take a week. Did it in 3 days!! They also went above and beyond and buffed out a huge paint scrape on the front of my car that was not included in the fixing as well as fixed a light that a previous repair shop did not fix correctly. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in need of a good fix.

I found and trusted Fix Auto Berkeley because of reviews online. I recently had my car repaired here and the service was exceptional! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The service done to my car was quick and thorough. I am very pleased with the job done. My insurance company and Fix Auto did a great job communicating with one another. I hardly had to do anything. During COVID 19 pandemic, they sanitized my bank card and the highly touched surfaces on and inside my car (door knob, steering wheel, etc.).

Someone backed into the side of our car leaving a few dents and scratches along the door panels. The doors needed to be repainted and the dents fixed. Fix Auto did an amazing job. You cant even tell there was ever any damage. It looks like it was the original paint! The staff were incredibly nice. They made my wife and I feel like we were old friends just coming in for a visit. They also sent text and email updates on the progress of our car.We needed a rental car while ours was getting fixed. They called Enterprise for us when we dropped off the car. And we were able to leave our rental with them after our car was fixed. They made sure the rental car got back to Enterprise. I cant believe how easy they made everything.They even washed the outside, vacuumed inside and disinfected everything. We highly recommend using them.

Craftsmanship was pretty good, not perfect, but what got me was they didnt mask off the windows so when I drive East in the morning it looks like my windshield was lightly sandblasted so thats fun.I emailed about it and they said I could bring it back but only on their time. Not sure if I can trust them to fix it.

I chose Platinum from a list of pre-approved nearby body shops from Nationwide Insurance after a fender-bender. My mechanic had a good impression of them from dealing with them over the phone. The work was completed promptly and on schedule. It wasnt major (replacement of a bumper assembly), but it was completed to my complete satisfaction. Their communication was surprisingly great. They offer the option to receive phone calls or emails for status updates. I opted for email and got a bunch of them reporting progress. And they were very helpful on the rental car coordination. Very friendly & professional folks in the office. Satisfied customer here.

A great experience from start to finish. Eugene, Dino, and Gen were all very communicative and quick to share helpful information for the many questions I had. At one point I thought my car would be a total loss, but the repairs were completed and it looked just as good as it did before I was rear-ended.

I had to have 3 of 4 panels on one side of my mini-van painted with metallic blue and they got the match perfect with the one original panel on the same side and the rest of the vehicle. They got me in within a day of the estimate and finished the work in less than five days. Really friendly great service as well. Highly highly recommend them.

Had a log come through my windshield while driving on the highway. After reading reviews of Platinum Auto shop, I wanted to take my car to them. Im very glad I did. They handled everything perfectly and were compassionate, which I wasnt expecting. The entire process was communicated well by Juan; and in the end they fixed my dented hood, replaced the windshield and repaired damage done to the dash. Hoping I wont need them again, but if I ever needed a body shop, I would go back to Platinum in an instant!

The back of my new car must have been hit pretty hard while parked because the bumper, corner panel and tail light showed a fair amount of damage. After they were done fixing it, I never would have known it wasnt straight from the factory.The first time I went to pick it up I noticed the back hatch wasnt aligned quite right on one side. (It hadnt taken any visible damage so we werent sure if something had happened in the incident or if it had just come from the factory like that) They kept it an extra day to fix that too and now its perfect.Would definitely trust my car to them again for any repairs.
