They are charging a lot more than the price stated on the item. I was buying a Martin’s Purefoods hotdogs & the price marked on the shelf is $6.35, when I was paying the elderly cashier in the food section was charging me $8.55. I told her that it was not the price but she insisted on the higher price claiming that the price”wasn’t changed yet.” This is a very bad business practice & actually is deceiving customers of the rightful price which are marked on the shelves…very very practice especially at this time of pandemic where people are trying to save some precious money to get by…😡😡😡

Went to pay at cash register and a cockroach crawling on the counter top, the lady took a piece of board and hit the table and blew the bug towards me and it landed on the table next to the counter . It rolled over on its back and kept moving its legs. She rang up my groceries and it was too late for me to back out and put stuff back . I ran out of there and will never return, she didn’t bat an eye. I have a video but I will not post it. Trust me ! I am not looking to ruin their business but OMG. Kill it at least and say I am so so sorry !

I like the pusit and bicol express but a lot of the turo turo food here is overpriced. There are a lot of better priced eateries in Bergenfield, but this place stocks a wide inventory and is convenient. I really like the fried salmon belly here but my wife says theres too much oil.

Honestly, a good store if you would like Filipino-Asian grocery items, but I did have a bad experience with them.Ordered a tray of 100 lumpia to pick up to take to work for my coworkers, and when I got there and completely forgot to make my tray. The lack of service recovery that followed was sad, to say the least. At least offer something else or give a discount if you completely forget to make an order. Disappointment.

Best customer service and variety of foods and grocery items

They have a much larger grocery compared to the other Filipino grocery stores nearby but their prices are higher and their turo-turo section is overpriced compared to how many other Filipino restaurants. The only thing I like about this place is the convenient location.

Always great & food is always fresh &delicious

We placed a food order for Christmas Eve which was confirmed a week and a half prior. We got a call Christmas Eve that they have too many orders and couldnt fulfill our order. After some time on the phone they said theyll have it ready at 5PM. 5PM comes around and were told they gave our order to someone else. After insisting we get our order because it was confirmed to begin with and now too late to order some place else, they agreed to make it for 6PM pickup. After all of that, they have the nerve to say Are you happy now? as they give us the order. Im giving 2 stars because the food is good and theyre one of the better Filipino grocery stores in the area.

This place is very pricey and their ready Cook meal or dish is not even good which I tried...Not much of a food or merchandise selections either.

Do not buy cooked food. They re-sell their left over food for days until it is absolutely inedible. I bought a rice porrage for my daughter and it was already spoiled.

Everything is overpriced. Some food from their “turo-turo” is spoiled. One time they had tinola out, and there was foamy mold on top of it. I almost ordered it until another customer pointed out that it was spoiled. Only then did the server realized it and smelled it then told her other coworker that it was spoiled. I miss jollibee!

The price of all items are getting high.
