On recommendation of a family member we contracted with Ohio Natural Stone to install our countertops. Paid $1600 deposit in the beginning of July. We were told 4-6 weeks to measure. Measurement finally occurred in early August. We waited two months, meanwhile we could never get a hold of them, always an answering machine. In Late September we received a call from Omicron Granite that they would still hold our slab, but would no longer do business with Ohio Natural Stone. We tried to contact them for a refund and were finally successful in contacting Susan who said it would be up to Steve to give us a refund. We never got a hold of Steve and after some investigation, found that the owner was charged with felony passing of bad checks. At that point we filed a dispute with our credit card company and *hopefully* have gotten our money back. I hear they do great work, however they are bad in every other part of the business. DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THEM!

They took our deposit money and never installed our granite. Today is November 3 and we started with them in February. It has been one story after another, one excuse after another, hundreds of texts, many emails that they never reply to, many voicemails that they never replied to. They have scheduled our installation six different times, each time they never showed up and never called to say they weren’t coming and it would take us weeks to get a hold of them before they would give us another install date. For the last 3 months they will not even commit to an installation date, they just keep saying maybe next week. Steve will not call us or text us or email us. Susan has been the only one who occasionally replies to texts but now she says it’s out of her hands and we have to speak with Steve. There is no way to reach Steve. He does not answer his phone. He does not call people back. Steve is a THIEF! He’s taking money from customers when he full out knows he’s not going to do the job. How is this legal? How is he even still in business taking money from people? I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but he never responded to them either. We are going to file a police report in the city of Berea, we are going to go to file with the Berea Small Claims Court and we are also going to file with the Attorney Generals Office. I encourage everyone else that this happened to to do the same. I don’t see how he is allowed to be in business when he is just there to literally rob people and no one is doing anything about it.

I could not be happier with the work this company did. They are busy so it took a few weeks but I am so glad I waited. Professional staff and you can tell the owner takes pride in a job well done. I have a home here and in LA. I wish I could have you come to LA to help me with my remodel there as well. I highly recommend this company.

I received a $2,165 refund check that bounced and they are unable to resolve. I have been waiting for my refund for a month and talking to the owner about the bounced check. He said he would pay me when he can, “it could be tomorrow or next week”. Not a reliable business if they are writing bad checks and unable to pay a customer back $2,165.

The best! They might be slow to respond because theyre busy and for good reason. Be patient and you wont regret dealing with them.

I am very reluctantly posting this review. They did our kitchen in June. I contacted them a week later with a few seams issues (some chipped and some too large). They said they would be out to look “next time their crew was in the area”, which is westlake. It has been months of emailing and following up on my end to no reply from them. If I could separate the service with the work I’d say most everything else was 4 or 5 stars, but the fact they got my business and then have been out of contact should be considered by any discerning future customers.

Very happy with the not only the granite, but the outstanding service, gorgeous workmanship and customer focus of Ohio Natural Stone Works. I have seen granite where the seams at the corners were not done well, but Ohio Natural Stone Works did an amazing job of making the seams perfect on my kitchen counter. I have recommended this company to all of my friends and family, and I will definitely be a repeat customer when I remodel my master bath!

Horrible business. Took two slabs of beautiful expensive quartz material and ruined them. They had every opportunity to do things right but instead screwed up every step of the way. Cut wrong, didn’t properly finish edges, chipped edges, ruined surface with acetone, grinder and abrasives. Manufacturer sent out technician all the way from Chicago and he verified all issues and advised us of several more. He confirmed no material issues. All damage was caused by the fabricator. Ohio Natural Stone, owner Steve Mason won’t accept responsibility. Tries to blame everyone else. Doesn’t return calls from us or manufacturer. Won’t even come out to look at it. Hopes you just go away. This has been a nightmare!If you’re thinking of using them run away as fast as you can.

Great service ! The man that helped me was realy helpful . Fast service. He was able to get me the perfect counter top cut and installed within a week! The price was affordable and less then other places i been to . Thanks so much diffently recommend going here .

Excellent Countertop Contractor! Look no further for your granite countertop contractor. We shopped 7 contractors in Cleveland area and chose Ohio Natural Stone Works. They did an excellent job. Good price, good, friendly, considerate employees, fast measure and installation. The seam was invisible, coutertops were cut snug to the walls. They used digital laser measuring equipment and the granite was cut with CNC equipment to ensure a perfect fit. They give you bottom line price, everything included: template, cutting, edge finish, sink cutting and mounting, and counter instal.
