Oh my goodness was a fantastic find!!! I can’t say enough about the sweet & savory crepes. Wow. Deliciousness in each mouthful. We got three sweet and three savory and gobbled them all up. There were NO leftovers and the servings weren’t that small. Quaint little eatery with outdoor eating or indoor. We called ahead and they had a table set up for us when we arrived. Delightful! The goat cheese crepes, both the savory and sweet, were a HUGE hit! Such a perfect surprise. 🙂
Delicious crepes, best lavender latte in town🤍Love this French inspired Crepery and it’s ambience. Incredibly friendly staff, huge variety of desserts, coffee and tea items. Love the park nearby, after a good meal it’s nice to take a walk. Perfect for brunch or family dinner. Small dogs are welcome, that’s a huge plus 🕊Highly recommend La Crepe Bakery 🤍
We love stopping by La crepe anytime we are in the Berea area. Their food is amazing. We especially love the crepes. If your craving sweet or savory theres an option. Coffee is also the bomb. Macarons are the kids favorite. Honestly cant go wrong with the food you order. The owners are amazing people.
Absolutely delicious crepes. The hazelnut latte was wonderful (I don’t like coffee and we ended up getting a second one to go because I drank half the first one). We ordered the strawberry and Brie crepe and a goat crepe with goat cheese, dates, pistachios and ham. Both were incredible- the strawberries and Brie was nicely balanced - not too sweet and not too “cheesy”. The goat crepe had delicious chunks of ham and the goat cheese blended perfectly. We can’t wait to go back!
Super cute and cozy little breakfast/brunch place. We all loved our breakfast! I got the ham and Brie crepe and thought it was amazing. My cappuccino was super good. I love all the different coffee choices from their espresso bar. Also, lots of gourmet desserts to choose from! I got the crème brûlée and the tiramisu and both were delicious!
Tasted better. A little pricey for what you get inside the crepe.
Absolutely adore this place. The crepes are delicious and fun, the drinks are well made, and the staff is always really friendly.
Stopped here for the first time. Hubby had a breakfast panini and I had the breakfast crepe. Both were delicious, although his came with a salad and pickled veggies. Not sure those really go with breakfast, even though they were tasty. We also had coffees, his was a mocha and mine was latte macchiato. They were presented very nice and were delicious! We have to come back for a dessert crepes, because we were too full to have one today!
Amazing food and amazing service Id give it 6 stars if I could.
3 people working, still took 20 minutes to get my sandwich which I ordered to go. I was handed the food container— no napkins, no bag, no fork. Food tasted fine, but not worth the $9.00 and $1.50 tip. Also, one of the staff was putting away paper products during the lunch hours. Wait to do that until you do not have a line of paying customers waiting for their food.
Quaint coffeeshop, but disappointed in the food and drinks. Not much flavor and the frappes are watery
What a delicious surprise! Unique breakfast and great service.
La Crepe Bakery and Cafe is a quaint establishment to try European style food made with crepes. Crepes are made to order and a great portion for the price. Staff is very nice and welcoming. Борщ was delicious. My mother and I had savory crepes with time but will be back again to try sweet variations. Definitely a hidden gem in Berea.
La Crepe created a beautiful anniversary breakfast for my parents 51st anniversary. I bought six crepes via carry out and created a crepe buffet at home. The crepes were delicious and the staff was so accommodating, even accommodating my early morning needs. Many thanks and highly recommended!
My wife and i live just down the road and love to frequent this place as it offers some of the best coffee in the area. We stopped in a few minutes ago for a birthday coffee, which I assumed would be fine seeing as they close at 6. We didn’t even place our order before receiving a completely snarky attitude from a cashier i’ve never seen here before. His main concern was that they close in half an hour. Okay well i stopped in for coffee so maybe you can calm down since you have more than half an hour to prepare my drink. Don’t be open for service if you don’t want to serve people up until 6. Very Rude, very disappointed
Crepes are excellent and made with care, but I was disappointment that they got rid of the original roasted chicken crepe recipe and replaced it with something completely different. That used to be my favorite meal ever and now the new version just isn’t as good. Still love this place and will return, but definitely miss the old roasted chicken crepe. (If you can, please bring it back!!!)
Freshly made. Friendly service.
Popped in as we were passing through unsure if this was a quick bite kind of place or more sit down. We didnt have a lot of time so it just got a tea and a croissant to go. The croissant was soooo delicious! The crepes looked amazing, I really want to come back and try one when I have the time to sit and enjoy.
Cute place great coffee and crepes. I highly recommend
We stopped in here for a quick breakfast before we continued our road trip. Our breakfast was DELISH! We had a pesto crepe, a mushroom/spinach crepe/ a breakfast panini and a limoncello crepe. SO good! Cute little atmosphere. Fresh food. One of the owners is also the chef and she’s adorable. Really great find!
Good food nice staff but pricey.
I’m always looking for breakfast spots bc it’s my favorite meal. A good crepe is hard to find and this little spot did not disappoint. They have savory and sweet crepes, enough to please even the pickiest of eaters, aka, my 6 year old. Located in a college town, it’s a little tough to find, and there was only one worker taking on 5 orders. But she did a great job and the crepes were excellent.
The food was awesome, crepes were so delicious, ham and brie, pesto crepe - just out of this world! Highly recommended!
I’m not a review type of person, Crepes were good but coffee definitely needs help we ordered cappuccinos they came out cold and no flavor at all staff was nice over all but again I went there mostly for the coffee and it disappointed
Sunday was a gorgeous day, so my lady and I went for a walk in the Metroparks in Berea. Ive been in the area pretty frequently, but never took a day to just walk around and take in the sites. Feeling a little peckish after walking around for a bit, we came across La Crepe. I wasnt looking for anything heavy, just a light lunch, so this seemed perfect. Its a cute little shop with counter service. There is a display with the days pastries (which all looked delicious), and you can view the staff as they prepare your drinks and food. There is a good amount of seating inside if you feel like sitting in, especially if its a hot day outside. The cafe is decorated with lots of French inspired decor, which really adds to the ambiance. We shared the Breakfast Panini, and also an Iced Coffee with a couple Macaroons (Espresso and Tiramisu). The Panini was a gooey, cheesy delight with salty Ham, Spinach, Mozzarella, and a Fried Egg on top. Definitely a fork & knife sandwich. It came with Pickled Vegetables and a side salad of Leafy Greens, Fresh Tomatoes, Shaved Parmesan, and a savory Vinaigrette. For $10, I found it to be a really good deal. The Coffee was balanced and refreshing. The Macaroons were absolutely delicious, they way they melted in your mouth...so good!La Crepe is a wonderful little place that accents downtown Berea in a lovely way. Just a step away from the park, its perfect for stopping by after a walk, or for grabbing a bite to take with you and enjoying the scenery. I highly recommend it for a light lunch, and look forward to stopping by again when I am in the area. Be sure to stop by!
Ive had a few crepes from here now, both savory and sweet. I recommend the Ham and Brie or the Breakfast crepe! They are nothing short of amazing! I have yet to be disappointed with a crepe from here, and the staff are extremely friendly and quick to fulfill your order. Its safe to say that I am going to become a regular here!
This place is seriously outstanding! They use fresh ingredients in combination with outstanding recipes. Couldnt be more grateful to satisfy my cravings with their option of gluten free savory crepes.
Good quality and fast service. Amazing crepes!
Wonderful service, even when short staffed. The food is exceptional!
I had the best chocolate peanut butter cupcake I ever had in my life here! Amazing!
We really enjoyed it, best crepes ever, nice people working at the Café! Definitely be back!
Very high quality food. In a neat little shop that typically has quick customer service
Cashier was quite rude, waiting time could be much less. Heard a lot of good things about the place, but was very disappointed myself...
Nice little Cafe great coffee, good food very friendly.
A surprise find in the Berea Triangle with very good food, polite service & a decent menu variety
Great crepes! Try the breakfast crepe and the French coffee!☕️
Saw a post on a Berea Facebook group and had to try them! It was a perfect Saturday brunch for a single mom that had the day off! The portions are great so you are filled with one crepe and the coffee was really tasty. I can see why they were so busy, they have a great thing going for them! I cant wait to try a savory crepe when I get my next free day!
Good selection and great people!
Terrific food and very friendly service. Very cozy, and they have excellent coffee selections.
Good breakfast crepe. I want to try more. Super fresh ingredients and plenty tasty. Will be back for more.
The staff is very friendly and the crepes and coffee drinks are delicious! There are a ton of sweet and savory crepe flavors to choose from.
Food was good, service was horrible, staff was rude
Crepe was so good! The ham and Brie were the perfect combination! Made a delicious lunch to enjoy while I worked from home. I will definitely be back!
Crepes not very good. Service ok. I will give them another chance.
Great food, great people working there!!!!
Great food which is made fresh and is very delicious. My wife and I have eaten here a few times and weve never been disappointed.
So good. Coffee is excellent.
Delicious! We had the goat cheese and Squid Ink. We also got a small cake to take home. We will definitely be back. There is way more that we want to try!
Great service! Beautiful and filling crepes. Great coffee!
Love this place so much!❤️❤️❤️
Great fresh food and coffee! Great local place
Lunch with dad is always enjoyable, but getting to introduce him to a new delight in the process just makes it that much better. He had the brisket panini and I had the mushroom crepe, and both were excellent. The flavors blended nicely throughout, the side salad was just the right accompaniment, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. The pickle soup I had was also very enjoyable. Chicken and rice with a nicely tempered herb flavor to it. All in all a wonderful visit.During busy times, seating may be limited, and its not what youre looking for if free refills and cheap sandwiches are your thing, but its an awesome, comfortable, and especially tasty bistro offering that I highly recommend.
Amazing place!! Any crepes can be made gluten free! They made an amazing large stuffed crepe with strawberry banana and nutella, topped with powdered sugar, chocolate and whipped cream.my son loved it!! Everything was very delicious and fresh!! Everything is made fresh in front of you.
Cute little cafe with a nice atmosphere and a large menu
OMG, the crepes are amazing! Both, savory and sweet! The service is so nice and staff is very friendly and helpful ! Been there many times and will be many more!!!
The coffee was wonderful.....crepes were large and filling.....will go back again!
Ive been ther twice and both times their crepes were huge and delicious. The first time I got the Brie and Pear which was a delightful combination of sweet and slightly nutty & salty (thanks to the brie). The second time I got the Breakast Crepe with ham for my 92 yr old aunt which she really enjoyed. (She could only eat ¼ of it but was happy to save the rest for later.) I got the Squid Ink crepe which was good but very, very salty which I didnt like about it. Im excited to try all the other flavors soon. And the owner and the others who work there are as sweet as can be.
The crepes are amazing. I love the options. Some very unique. I thought the price was maybe high but the amount of for the give you makes it more than worth it! I didnt ask if you can customize anything BUT they can do gluten free crepes! The coffee wasnt bad. I got poured with cream and sugar - its definitely a darker blend which wasnt bad. My husband really enjoyed it but he likes darker blends more than I do. The space is friendly and quiet. Simple decor, clean and well put together. Plenty of room with a mix of tables and booths which I love. The pastries look beautiful but my husband and I each got one to take home and we were not impressed. They bring them in from elsewhere and they tasted like they had sit in a fridgeration system too long. Or like they were frozen then sitting in the cooler for a while. I got something with cake in it and it was really wet inside so the cake was like bad mousse. The chocolate also tasted stale. But Id still go for the crepes!!
Great experience on all aspects including excellent quality crepes and customer service. Will return soon!
Great fast service great food and drinks. Ill ne returning when Im in the area. Staff was really nice.
I never knew the La Crepe Bakery & Café existed until a friend took me here last week. A good crepe is hard to find these days. The crepes were very tasty and filling! The best I had eaten in years. I would absolutely recommend this place.
Interesting spot in Berea, very nice and kitchy. Like that its in a location out of heavily trafficked area, the crepes are great and the staff was awesome!!
1 star for customer service. Cant review the food because we never received it.
Service was fantastic, the food was insane, I recommend the pulled pork panini the cheddar cheese was high quality the coffee was fantastic I will go again.
Exceptional crepes and coffee. Squid ink crepe with salmon is excellent. Savory and sweet choices. Open at 8am. Highly recommended.
Wow. What a wonderful place in Berea for breakfast or lunch. Excellent simple French and American cuisine. From simple inexpensive breakfast sandwich to delicious creamy mushroom crepe among many choices. Really good (not French burned) rich coffee, too.If you visit Baldwin Wallace, you must stop here. If you are as local, you are really fortunate to have yobs in your neighborhood.
Love this placeAlways fresh and deliciousSimple recipe
Cozy, great service and delicious food. I have gone to this cafe a few times and always enjoy myself. It is so relaxing and always enjoy the food and staff.
I went on a Sunday morning with my boyfriend and enjoyed a salted caramel and a chicken crepe with some espresso coffee and macaroons. Everything blew me away with how tasty it was. The bakery was also adorable and i loved that the owners/workers were Ukrainian. The price isnt bad at all for the amazing food and experience you are going to have.My only complaint is that they could use some more seating, it was packed :)
Best crepes in town, friendly staff
First time here. It was about 12:30 on a Sunday. They ran out of clean dishes and served our food in to go containers, including plastic forks. They forgot my friends entire order...it took 25 minutes even for the cup of coffee. They also had no cream out for coffee and everyone who got coffee had to ask for cream. They took the carton out of the fridge and handed it to every customer...EVERY TIME! Very strange. And, the crepe itself had no flavor. The filling was great! But not the crepe. My friends brought me here because they love this place. Said it was never like this before, so Ill give it another shot and hope for a better experience and then give them a better rating.Get it together LaCrepe!
Wow!! The Squid Ink Smoked Salmon is an unique masterpiece, so so delicious!! Be back definitely!
Cozy quaint cafe in downtown Berea. The crepes are delicious. You can watch them being made. Very generous portions, served with a small salad with their specialty dressing. I enjoyed their mushroom crepes. Owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Nice variety of crepes.
Their crepes are amazing and the staff is very nice! They give discounts to the college students which is so kind. Great business!
I wasnt a big fan of the coffee, but the crepe was fantastic. Will definitely return to try out other flavors in the future
Great coffee and crepes
My girlfriend and I found this place passing through Cleveland. It was fantastic. We both got the breakfast crepes. They came with a side of red pepper sauce which she said was really good, but wasnt my thing. It also came with a spinach side salad that we both thought was great. Ive had a lot of really good crepes and these were among the best. I would eat here a lot if I lived in Cleveland. The dessert crepes looked so good that we had to try them too. We split one of the Nutella crepes that was filled with Nutella, strawberries, and bananas and topped with powdered sugar, a drizzle of chocolate, and whipped cream. So good!! Were both coffee snobs. The black coffee we tried was average, but the vanilla latte we had was excellent.
Not very clean place
Lovely place. Breakfast crepe was delicious!
Great post-yoga meal. Super authentic and delicious. Savory and sweet options. Good coffee.
This place is fancy but casual. Coffee is great and refillable, the mood of the room is quite pleasant. The food was large and filling, expensive but worth it for the experience.Perfect for dressy datesPerfect for casual walk ins
Delicious crepes, sweet or savory; friendly service and nice atmosphere.
1st experience, better than expected. My family cant wait to go back.
