Rich and Chris are true professionals they do excellent work for a fair price not like Belle tire across the street where the guys at the counter work off commissions and make stuff up and install fear that you need to get it fixed I will take all our vehicles there had my front brakes done and new shocks on the front because Belle tire across the street did not honor their lifetime warranty on brake pads. It is hard to find shops with experienced mechanics/technicians that know how to repair your vehicle properly. PRO MUFFLER & BRAKE has done excellent work on my cars and truck, and they have always charged fairly for the repairs. They have never pushed to do more work than necessary. Highly recommended!

The dealership wanted nearly $3,000 to replace my exhaust system. Took my Ram to Pro and they welded up the pipe connector for $125. They could have hung me out but they didnt. So glad I went there.

Lost all my brakes on a Friday and Im from Indianapolis. Very professional staff (Chris) took good care of my problem and put all new brake lines on my Chevy Silverado. I came in on a Friday morning because my muffler had fallen off my car the night before. Rich welded up my muffler for the time being so it would be fine for the weekend until I could get the new muffler that I had ordered. They were even conscious of my time being that I had to get back to work after. They didnt even charge me to weld it back on temporarily. Super great service and great guys. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

I am writing this review based on my experience. While some may have had a good experience at Pro Muffler, my experience was not at all pleasant. I went there for a alignment and the representative stated that I couldnt get an alignment because I had a bad wheel hub bearing and tires. The quote which was provided to me to fix the hub bearing was not affordable for me. I was under the assumption that in America you have the freedom of choice to go where you please based on what you can afford. Due to the cost, I left the shop and me and my friend fixed the hub bearing ourselves. I came back to get an alignment about three days. When I walked in I said I would like to get an alignment done. He responded Where did you get the hub bearing fixed? I was honest and I told him my friend fixed it. He said I saw your car up the street for two days. I said No I didnt take my vehicle to the shop, my friend and I fixed it. He responded Well I saw that exact bumper up the street for two days. I responded again I did not take the car to a shop. I felt as if I was being interrogated for a crime. I was shocked and disgusted by the experience. After he expressed to me how he wasnt happy about me getting the work completed by my friend, he said well you know the price of the alignment just went up, I dont make money on alignments especially on slow days like this. I responded Sure, I understand, what is the price of the alignment. He responded The price went up to 89.99. I thanked him for his time and left the shop. The price went up from 49.99 to 89.99. I was highly dissatisfied.

Excellent service I brought in my 1985 Toyota Tercel wagon for exhaust work, they put on a new catalytic converter axle pipe and installed the muffler I brought with. They did a fantastic job fixing the previous owners hack job exhaust.

I took my van here for a second opinion after a dealership told me all of my brakes needed to be replaced. They were super friendly showed me that my brakes were actually fine and did not need any work at this time. They easily couldve tried to tell me my brakes needed to be replaced, but they clearly had a ton of integrity. I will definitely give them my business in the future because its clear they are professionals and wont try to take advantage of me.

Wonderful service and customer relations. They explained exactly what was needed and what wasnt, and then found the best price for us. We got same day service, and it was done quickly and efficiently. My car now runs like it did when I got it.

My wife and kids were vacationing in the Lakeside area and we noticed that our already loud (2000) minivan had gotten incredibly louder. Knowing that there was something new loose in the exhaust, we called around to a few places and several nearer to us either were already full and couldnt get it fixed for two or three days or didnt have welders handy. Someone referred me to Pro and Chris answered the phone. He was incredibly helpful, heard my concerns, and said that it would probably work to bring the car in and have the work completed. We made the quick drive up and within about 1 1/2 hrs, Chris and the Crew had the broken pipe and connected Oxygen sensor completed replaced and in the parking lot waiting for us to drive back home. They did not know that I had to drive the car back home the same day and the work was still done incredibly quickly and professionally. It was very nice to be able to make that short drive in to Chi. with more peace/quiet from this car than Ive had in a while. Kudos to Chris and the crew for a fabulous job well-done.

Pro muffler is the only place Ill go to have muffler work done. They are all very friendly and make you feel welcome even when you run in about 1/2 hour before they close thinking all you need is a tailpipe welded on but really need a whole new muffler....they still did the work. Parts are always delivered in a flash if they dont have on hand. Your in and out in a reasonable amount of time and they are honest with you about what you need. Every time Ive brought a vehicle here Ive always had a great experience!

Went in for alignment on my truck, they lied told me I needed wheel hub bearings and control arms both sides. At almost $1000. Went down the road to a different shop and everything was fine

Took my car to Midas in Michigan City for exhaust leak problem, they told me I needed an entirely new exhaust system for $900. Then I took it to pro muffler and they fixed the small leaky pipe for $175!!

I took my car in to get the brakes fixed and it was a great experience. The mechanic took me out to the garage to show me exactly what needed fixed and gave me options about what could wait. They even quoted me for the different work they could do on it. The whole thing took about an hour an a half. I will definitely use them again.

Up front I had wrk done on my vehicles for years never a problem mostly exhaust wrk and some brake wrk. The thing is when it requires welding thats the place my son was took to go to 👍🏿🚘.

Went in for loud noises, they diagnosed it as engine mounts that should be looked at but are not an immediate need and shielding that they zip tied up for me. Didnt charge me for looking at it! Super friendly and quick too!

Everytime I go here to have work performed I cant get it done without the employee Rich belittling me and being downright rude. From what I hear I am not the only one. This time I had enough, I removed my car from the shop and will never return. I will also no longer refer customers from my shop to come here. What a shame

I had a muffler installed last Friday I wanted the flowmaster super 44 but put the 40 series on instead without telling me my finance called them and they told her that they didnt have it in stock and had to order it and said I was ok with it but they never told me that if they would of told me they would have to order it I would of waited

I requested duels and there is only one guy who does them, the man who runs the front was out sick so the guy who does duels was running the front, needless to say I was turned away. he is also very unfriendly making a joke of my request, I was quite disappointed, Ill be taking my money elsewhere.
