Lack of compassion for customers, no concern. Our KitchenAid/Whirlpool refrigerator went out 4 months ago and they still have not fixed it. They sent a tech from ASI Services in Channelview, TX out who looks at the fridge for 5 minutes, scratches his head and replaces one part at a time. After they make a repair, you have 24 hours to see if it works... they have been out 4 times to my house to troubleshoot. Every time they order a new part, its inevitably on back order, it comes in and it doesnt solve the problem... rinse and repeat. Out 4 months on a brand new refrigerator that weve had for less than 1 year... $4K fridge. I would expect more from a service company.NOTE TO ALL APPLIANCE MAKERS - QUIT SENDING YOUR CUSTOMERS TO THESE PEOPLE! THEY DO NOT CARE AND MAKE YOUR PRODUCTS AND INTEGRITY LOOK TERRIBLE.Whirlpool, you all are better than this... this is really bad look for a brand that is held in such high regard.You all need to change your warranty provider in the Houston, TX area.
I purchased a Maytag clothes dryer in August of 2020. The dryer model is MEDC4565HWD, price range of $800. The enamel has worn off the dryer drum and the interior of the door, the interior vent on the back of the drum has rusted, and the dryer produces lint through all the crevasses of the back and side panels; even with the proper vent connection. At less than 6 months of ownership we had the Maytag referred technicians evaluate the machine and they have recommended all the parts be replaced in the drum and a new door installed. Maytag is insisting the dryer be rebuilt, not replaced. They consider these defects cosmetic. When asked if the new parts end up causing the same issues, the consumer experience center said they will rebuild it again. We would prefer replacement of the dryer. Cosmetic vs. functional defects are completely misunderstood by this manufacturer. Terribly disappointed in Maytag, the warranty they offer, and the extended warranties as well. We will not purchase Maytag/Whirlpool appliances ever again. Buyer beware. One star was selected for posting purposes only.
If Zero was an option, I would give you NO stars at all! We purchased a brand new dishwasher August 8th, 2020 at Lowes in Sanford, FL. Switch my defective dishwasher!!! Yet another delay to wait for another replacement part on a BRAND NEW dishwasher we’ve owned for a couple of months !!!! Noooooooo !!!!! This is no longer acceptable, It has been inoperable for the same amount of time we’ve owned! No No !!!!Now the dishwasher has a bad vent switch for the steam/humidity. F8/E4/E2. Error codes and I have to wait A G A I N for parts?!??! No!!! I better get the replacement unit this week, this is not acceptable. It is obvious we were sold a DEFECTIVE unit!!! Do I need to contact Better Business? Slander your company on social media to get results? We’ve been more than patient. We purchased a Maytag clothes washer 5 years ago that had a TEN YEAR limited warranty sticker on the top of the unit. This warranty was why I purchased this unit over other brands. Today, we found out how LIMITED the warranty truly is. The 10 year warranty is good for only two parts...the drive motor and the wash basket. The partI need is the gear case or transmission which cost nearly $300 including tax. Add $100 for labor and I’m at $400 maybe more. I will never buy a Maytag appliance again.

Worst customer experience ever! Bought a Kitchen Aid gas range from Lowes two years ago. A small grate pad fell out and was lost. Initially i tried to buy through two reputable 3rd party parts companies. Both said Whirlpool did not provide specific guidance on the part number but gave me options. I spent about $40 (about half the cost was shipping) on these two companies but did not get the correct part size. I went through, two times, dealing direct with Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid. They confirmed they did not know the part number but tried to giide me on options. Two orders there and another $30-40 and I still did not get the right part. I tried dealing with the Whirlpool Customer Experience department. After a week they reaponded to my email with some questions. I promptly answered their questions but no response. I followed up three times over the past two weeks and no reply. They simply do not care! Coincidentally, I contacted Delta (faucets) to order a part from them. They answered in 60 seconds, took info, asked me to text a pic then called me back in 5 minutes confirming they would send me new parts (even parts I wasnt looking to replace) and said there would be no charge. The faucet is 12 years old! Delta provided some of the best service ever. Delta should buy Whirlpool and change the culture. Too bad as Whirlpool is a US company in my home state of MI
Do not purchase front load washer model number MHW5630HW0. It was not built correctly and spins backwards causing a significant, yet, inconsipcious leak on every load which will go on the floor and ruin your baseboards and potentially cause mold growth. Maytag is not interested in customer satisfaction and notifying anyone or replacing the defective equipment when I called them. Hopefully this helps anyone considering buying one so they dont get stuck with $1000+ washer that is defective, spins backwards, leaks, and doesnt work as expected.
Not only did a very expensive appliance break down in just over a year but the absolutely incompetence of the Customer Service department has been beyond belief. They are an absolute nightmare to deal with. They send incorrect paperwork, loose receipts, do not log complaints, the list goes on and on. Some three months and three major holidays later and I have nether a working fridge/freezer or a refund!! DO NOT BUY KITCHEN AID! (interestingly the site will not allow a post unless you select at least 1 star). My score is zero stars!
Whats the point in a 10 year warranty if you put so many limitations, no one can use it. My washing machine and dryer have been nothing but trouble, less than 2 years old. JUNK.
Have a Whirlpool fridge only 8 months old and under warranty, It is not working and I have to wait 5 or more days for it to be looked at by a repair company. All my food had to be thrown away and my children go back to school Monday and I cant make them breakfast for the first,second or third day of school maybe longer. NO packing lunch for them either. DONT BUY A WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR.....
Torture! Absolute torture, on hold literally 7 hours, not to mention that I have been without a refrigerator for almost 3 weeks now. I have had to deal with customer support and exchange support and in addition to the hold times, the exchange people were rude and misleading. This is my second Kitchen Aid refrigerator in a year. Quality is also called into question. Do not buy this brand expecting that you will get help if things should go wrong, which they will.
