Called on oct 11. Service call date was for oct 25. No problem. Tech bill H shows up nice man professional. Worked on units for 1 hour. Said he was done. Paid the 500 plus bill. Did 1 load in washer. Issues again. It happens. I’m ok with that. Here is where it goes south.Immediately called service. Told my issue and ask bill to return. Was told no and that I would have to reschedule. Gave another week to wait. I said that was not acceptable to me. Argued with rep on phone and they hung on me in mid sentence. Not one ounce of compassion or caring of my issue. Just not happy with the tone of my voicePoor poor customer service. Also. Don’t call the techs number that calls you before arrival. They have it set up to automation and you can’t even leave them a message or talk to them.Bottom line. Take day off work for a 8-4 appointment window. Spend 500 plus. Still can’t use washer now I have to take another day of work. I hope karma pays them a visit. I will try to stop payment today for services NOT RENDERED. I’m sure based on their CS skills they don’t even know these reviews exist. So good for the consumer. BUYER BEWARE

COULD HAVE KILLED US or someone else! On 8/19/2021 one of their techs was tailgating us less than 4 feet from us at 50+ mph. This took place on Dutch Settlement Rd. in Penn township, Cass County MI at 5:30 pm. He finally passed us on a yellow line then crossed a double yellow on a hill, then went north on Penn Rd, this guy is nuts! We just used them for an expensive repair which went great but can no longer have them in our house because it could be the potential killer.

If I could give negative stars I would. By far the worst service I have ever experienced. Bought a new washer June 16th that came with a faulty part. They came out diagnosed the issue now I have had two scheduled appoints canceled by them the morning of. Then they rescheduled for two weeks. All they can say is that is our earliest available time. On August 11 Ive havent been able to use this new washer. Left serval messages with mangers there and have not received a call back on why my appoints get canceled. Maytag need to find a different service company. Also very disappointed with Maytag, all they say is all we can do is the send the repair company to fix the issue. Last time I ever buy a Maytag product.

One of the worst services so far ; our KitchedAid refrigerator wasn’t cooling. First technician misdiagnosed the issue, asked to order $1,100 worth of parts that the second technician after 6+ weeks waiting for parts re-diagnosed to our surprised were not the ones that were broken. Another 5+ weeks, still waiting for the parts and it appears you have to call to schedule the service that may or may not happen immediately ( likely 2+ weeks ) of the technician is not in your area.OEMs must replace this service company with a better alternative as it is tarnishing OEMs brand as well. Very very disappointed

8 months after they came to fix my ice maker, they never ordered part. I have been calling every 2 weeks and nothing happens.They will give you the run around and blame the manufacturer when they are the ones that take care of orders. Still waiting. Buying ice.. Maytag needs to drop this company for warranty work.

Would definitely not recommend. Misdiagnosed problem on the first visit (which took a month to get part). After reordering correct part, repair person showed up with wrong part. Correct part ordered--not prioritized even though it was their fault--and I still dont have a working dishwasher 4 months later.

Purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator. New in the packaging, which is not always the case here, but they had a few new ones on the floor. No delivery options at this time, but that is totally understandable. Awesome deal. Great people!

This place is a complete joke. Waited a month just to schedule an appointment and them another month for them to get the parts. rescheduled appointment and then showed up without all the parts needed to fix the problem and wont even tell me when they will be back? Ridiculous.

Excellent service, they had to come out the first time to diagnose the problem, then return at a later date with the compressor and perform the repair. Up and running and working fine now. The technician Ed was very helpful and knowledgeable and did a great job. Highly recommended.

Repair techs have been out 4 separate times on a washer that is less than 4 months old. replaced the control board twice and i was told before they left they had to order another part but in the mean time it should at least function without the presets. Went to use the washer for the first time since they were here and it now displays a error code and upon unplugging it and plugging it back in it doesnt work. your techs closed out the ticket and now i am without a washer for weeks until you get out here again. Fix your mistake. in a timely manner.

Terrible service. I recommend you use anyone else. Specifically listed what was broken on our dryer in the online form. Technician came to the house and had no clue what part we even needed, tried to talk us out of even using their service, argued with my wife over which part we needed and googled a part number that he left for me. When I got home and looked that part up, just like my wife had told him JT was the wrong part. We paid $99 for him to be at the house for ten minutes, tell us to do it ourselves and gave us the wrong part to order. Ultimately I found an appliance store on eBay to buy a replacement part from. I left two messages asking for a refund and for to voice my concerns with how poor this service call went and no one even called me back.

Beware! This company has stolen money from me. Paid in advance for service and a part that had to be ordered for my dishwasher on 10/12. The tech received the wrong part twice and now its 12/4 and I still do not have a functioning dishwasher. Now I am going through the red tape of trying to get my money back. I have called several times and keep being transferred to a manager who never returns the call. The tech was great as he repaired my fridge however, the communication from the company leaves much to be desired. Especially when they have had payment for (2) months!

When I called them about it they said that I didn’t need to pay since it was covered. I would have preferred that they had let me know that so that I didn’t mistakenly pay them.

We have a Jenn-Air refrigerator that wasn’t cooling properly. It was still under factory warranty. I called Jenn-Air and they scheduled Diamond to come out for repairs. When the technician arrived, the first thing he said is the invoice from Whirlpool wasn’t sent over correctly because it’s under extended warranty and there is probably nothing he can do unless I pay for it myself. I explained to him that it’s a factory extended warranty through Jenn-Air and proceeded to show him the email with this confirmation. He called his invoice person and they stated the same thing about not being invoiced correctly.The technician did take out the crisper drawer filled with fruits and veggies to check for icing (which there wasn’t any). He then said there was nothing he can do since it wasn’t invoiced correctly. Now keep in mind, we have 4 kids and we keep throwing product away because it’s going bad quickly. I asked the technician why even show up since you know this invoice issue wasn’t going to allow you to do anything? Why can’t your office contact Whirlpool and get this corrected? (I feel this is a way for Diamond Factory service to get paid for a trip charge knowing they can’t do anything). I wasn’t very happy at this point because I was told that I need to contact Jenn-Air again and have them reissue an invoice with the proper number. The technician left, and while leaving all our fruits and veggies on the counter in the large crisper drawer.I then proceeded to call Diamond to explain to them this is a factory warranty. The customer service agent, Kara, said it was an extended warranty through AIG and it is not her companies job to contact them to get their invoice correct and it’s my job to do this. She was on the verge of yelling at me because she believed she was right when I was explaining to her that it’s not an extended warranty through AIG and it’s through Jenn-Air. I was shocked at the horrible customer service and I asked to speak to a supervisor. Kara proceeded to tell me that a supervisor is going to tell me the same thing. I continue to ask for a supervisor and Kara continue to argue with me. She then reluctantly sent me to a supervisor’s voicemail. I did leave a message but nobody ever called back.I then called Jenn-Air and told them the situation. The rep called Diamond and spoke to Joyce. Joyce treated the Jenn-Air rep the same way Kara was treating me. After that call Jenn-Air understood my frustration. They did reschedule for another visit (again, this will be another trip charge that Diamond collects from Whirlpool).I then called back to Diamond and spoke to another rep about getting someone out there sooner due to all the issues. This rep said the notes on my original call said extended warranty and it wasn’t invoiced correctly, which confirmed to me they knew the invoicing issue but still kept the appt knowing they were not going to do anything. I asked again if someone can come out sooner than scheduled. The rep said that she is going to discuss this with Julie (I’m assuming Julie Hanaan who is over Business Operations). She came back on the phone and said they have a rep scheduled for next week, which is the original time that Jenn-Air scheduled.Diamond Factory Service handled this as poorly as anything I have dealt with. I believe them sticking to the original appointment is out of retaliation and shows no care and concern for the consumer. Granted, I wasn’t happy when dealing with these folks, but I never once raised my voice. I only asked questions where they couldn’t answer which became very frustrating. I could have been a real jerk and pushed to have the technician come back and put the drawer and food back into our refrigerator but didn’t.If Diamond Factory Service makes this situation correct, I would be happy to change this review. I highly doubt they will since they already had ample time to address, and did so in a very poor fashion. This concern will also go to Whirlpool since Diamond is contracted for their warranty repair on their products.

Diamond was very punctual. Professional when he worked with my husband as to what was wrong and getting the job done. When I got home from work my husband went over everything the service man had done. I looked at everything. The only issue I had with the work performed was the dryer vent was not connected to the back of my dryer. I had to climb back behind the small space and properly connect the vent and crawl back out completing the job....

The technician was pleasant and punctual. He told us the issue with our Whirlpool dishwasher was a circuit board and it would cost $485 to replace. Given that this was the cost of the dishwasher I asked him to be honest with me, should I just get a more expensive dishwasher? He said it really didnt matter and they were all the same. I also asked him if he would send or leave an estimate and he danced around the question and said he couldnt do it, it was on his phone (odd, right?).Long story short, we figured out how to reset the machine and also turned our breaker on and off and sure enough, the machine works like new. So, it seems that just like phones and computers, sometimes your dishwasher just needs to be rebooted. Please consider this before a service tech tries to gouge you for something that is entirely unnecessary.What a shame.

Extremely unimpressed. We reached out as our fridge was not working, we had a guy come out and tell us he had to order a part so would be back in 7 days. He came back in 7 days and upon arriving for the appointed time said he was not given the part and left. This was a Friday morning, and we did not hear back from him again that day. We left a voicemail that afternoon asking for an update and we again did not hear back. Monday we reached out to find out the status and were told the part would arrive in a couple days. The lady we talked to in the service department was extremely short & rude not caring at all about the situation or giving any further detail as to the delay, etc. We will not be using this company as we now have been without a fridge/freezer for two weeks due to their lack of communication and timeliness.

Installed my oven/range. Original technician did not mount power cable correctly causing it to short. Put my house at risk for a fire!! Service technician who came to inspect did not order correct parts. Next service technician had to reorder parts. Delays in parts arriving and multiple rescheduled appointments. All in all over a month without a range/oven during the holiday season- not due to a defective product, but Diamond Factory Service unsafe/poor installation of my product.

I thought my washer was broken and the spin cycle was broken because it made a loud banging noise when spinning. The technician found the problem quickly. The hose was banging on the wall and making the banging noise! He just tied the hose to the leg of the laundry sink so it wouldnt hit the wall.

Ive been waiting since last Wednesday to have someone out to look at my washer. First issue was with Whirlpool told them two times the address where the washer was at. Technician showed up at my boyfriends house. Someone from Diamond called me within minutes to straighten out the address problem and rescheduled me for today. No one showed up so I called to find out what was going on only to be told the technician notes state he called my number and left a voicemail which never happened theres also a secondary number to call and they never called that number either. Also stated that he arrived at my house and waited 22 minutes then left. At the time he arrived there were 4 people at my home so if he was there someone would of known. He also stated he seen someone pulling out of my driveway when he was coming down the street well thats impossible since my driveway is on another street. The lady I spoke with tried calling the technician and of course she got no answer from him. Now I have to wait till Monday for someone to come out. After reading all the reviews looks like I wont even have my washer fixed then because they wont have parts. Customer service at its finest NOT!!

I purchased a new Whirlpool/Maytag energy efficient washing machine from Lowes on June 22. I had the machine for about 5 weeks and did probably 20-25 loads of laundry during that time. One afternoon in late July while running a load of towels, I heard a loud boom from my basement and ran down to see what had happened. I initially thought my water heater had exploded, but as I entered the laundry room, I noticed the washing machine had turned 90 degrees and that the frame was bent on both sides. I called Lowes and they put me in touch with Diamond Factory Service. It took Diamond about 4 days to get back to me and then they scheduled a technician to come to my house for an assessment another 3 days later. The technician was very thorough and did a good job of assessing and communicating the situation. He called me the next day to tell me that the woman he spoke to at Diamonds Service Center had denied my claim, stating she felt it was my fault this happened to the machine. Really? I was supposed to physically stand and watch my washing machine operate and then what, turn it off?? Bottom line, this was someone who quickly looked at a report without realizing the details of the situation or considering the technicians recommendations (that there should have been an error code within the machine that would shut it down once the spin cycle went out of balance) and simply said, Denied!Diamond Factory Service is a joke. Im not happy with Lowes either since they keep passing the buck. Ive spent a lot of time on this situation the past 3 weeks and still do not have a resolution. My next steps are to reach out to Whirlpool - well see what they do. Stay tuned!

It was easy enough to schedule an appointment. The technician was on time and very polite and professional. He seemed a little disappointed that no one told us how pricing worked or that payment is due at time of service (they dont do billing?) when we set up the appointment and I was too since it was my parents stove that needed the fix, I was just there to let him in. Thankfully I had enough money on me to pay him. He fixed our problem quickly (and its still working great). However, I called to let them know in the office that they should tell people up front (and also to tell them how great our tech was) and the lady told me I dont have to listen to this and hung up on me. I wasnt rude, I didnt raise my voice. Just a heads up that not everyone always has an extra couple hundred dollars laying around, especially when you dont know how much any of the services are until they are done.

Dont call for service.. What a rip-off..$99 just to come out for something under warranty. To top it off the service technician was rude and condescending and basically made me feel stupid for calling service on a product that was under warranty (after troubleshooting on my own, via owners manual). Referring to people like me as crazy rich people. I was never told that there would be a $99 charge by Diamond or the manufacturer. If so, I would have never scheduled! This crazy rich person (far from!!) has better things to do with their money. If their service is any indication of their customer service in store, I would stay far away!

If I could leave a NO star rating, I would!! Brand new kitchenaid refrigerator broke (still under FACTORY WARRANTY). Weve been without a refrigerator for over 6 weeks! Finally after my second phone call to check and see if the repair parts had arrived (and AGAIN the snippy lady on the other end of the phone says ....) once the parts are in, we will call you!! Like I was bothering her for calling. I asked what we are supposed to do without a refrigerator (that is still under factory warranty) for ANOTHER 6 weeks? She said, you can call Kitchenaid direct, thats all I can tell you. So, I DID! Eventually I spoke with a supervisor and told her my story. She was appalled on the service I was getting from Diamond Factory. She also said that if service parts are on backorder for a factory warranty unit, those are priority orders and that there are several other places they can search for the item. The Kitchenaid supervisor was extremely apologetic. She searched and found the service part that was on backorder in an hour .... and had it shipped to our house in two days!!! I waited a day for Factory Service to call me and schedule the repair, and nothing. I called them and had to explain the whole story to someone there (they knew nothing about the service part being delivered). I scheduled the service date and hung up. Three days before my scheduled appointment, I received a call confirming my service and they had the wrong day, and time!! So I had to reschedule AGAIN! 8 weeks later, Im hoping to get my factory warranty refrigerator fixed!!!And what extension do I ask for since this is the general phone number you have given me!! once again my appointment has been changed!!! Your company SUCKS!!

I will never buy from Diamond factory service again. Six months ago my refrigerator was not cooling so I replaced the evaporator fan and that solved my problem. The refrigerator quit cooling again but the evaporator fan was still spinning so I figured that wasnt the problem and I called diamond Factory Service. They charge me $99.95 and told me it was my evaporator fan. When I told them I replaced that fan 6 months ago they told me iF Diamond Factory would have installed the fan it would be covered under warranty but since I put it in myself there is no warrant. I called whirlpool and they have nothing to do with diamond Factory Service. When I told them Diamond Service has a big Whirlpool sign out front of their building whirlpool said they are just license technicians.I should have listened to my friends and not hired Diamondback service. Very disappointed in the way they do business. I will Google Whirlpool repair and hire a local repair service definitely not Diamond .

Horrible experience all around. Technician spent 5 minutes fixing the Start button on my still under warranty Maytag washer. Problem was fixed for one load, apparently he never bothered to check other settings because 1 day later the problem returned and was worse than ever. Tried to schedule second appointment with Diamond since unfortunately they are the only option unless I want to pay for repairs myself on my almost-new washer. Specifically requested morning appointment and arranged my schedule accordingly, received automated phone call day before appointment telling me to expect technician between 3-5pm. Had to cancel, called Maytag complain, called Diamond to complain and am still waiting for followup call from a manager named Julie, its now been 7 days. Avoid this company and dont buy Maytag.

They warranty their parts for 90 days, but NOT their labor. After replacing a part on my microwave only to have it burn out within 90 days; I had it replaced again. AND within 9 days of replacing, it burned out again! DFS informs me that I have to pay for labor but the part is covered! You mean you dont warranty your labor along with the part? (my question). Their answer - no maam; we do not warranty our labor for more than 90 days. If you can live with that degree of professionalism, then DFS is your repair service!

I worked with Diamond Factory for well over a month to get my microwave fixed. Scheduling was difficult, as it seemed they would only allow one appointment a week. Twice it was unable to be fixed due to faulty parts and I was never called when parts arrived, so after checking up on said parts I was told they were in and could come out on that Sat. only to be called by the actual repairman on the Sat. morning to be told he wasnt given the parts and would need to reschedule, then the next week was told by customer service that the parts were not in. When parts did finally arrive it was fixed and worked for two days. Again, waiting for parts. At one point I had also choose no to a robo-schedule call as I was not sure on the scheduling so I called immediately following to explain that I should make the window, but wanted to know what would happen if I was close, the rep explained I was 6th on the list, so should be fine, okay lets go ahead and keep the time. So, of course, they never showed up. I called and was told that I selected no, so no one came out, completely denying the follow up phone call, basically blaming me. I mentioned numerous times about my displeasure with the service, but no response was given. So disappointed in service, please find someone else if you can. In the end we eventually ended up replacing the microwave, due to it not working and other circumstances.

When I first encountered Diamond, I thought what a competent group of technicians Whirlpool has sent to take care of my microwave. The first technician was very Jermaine polite and very thorough in his examination on my device and replaced the magnetron and the door switch. About three weeks went by and then the awful customer service began. Calling the customer service center is like calling another country and they act like they dont understand you and that you are bothering them with your concerns. The next thing that was to be replaced after two prior visits where they couldnt figure out why it was have intermittent problems, the microwave magnetron stopped working all together. So they ordered a new button pad for the front of the microwave citing it must be the pad that has stopped it from turning the magnetron on. A week later a technician supposedly came out to our house and rang our bell to no avail we didnt answer at 8:05am. He said he called our house at 8:07 and didnt get an answer there either and didnt leave a message because he said it was his dispatchers job to call the client and leave a message, something they never did. Now if he would have left a message I would have seen it and called right back after I got out of the facilities, before he got too far away, but they failed at this very badly. We didnt realize he called on the caller ID until we called them 3 hours later after our appointment time was over. So one week later they arrived only to find that supposedly Whirlpool sent them the wrong key pad and will need to reorder another one. Now the bright and right thing to do is get on the phone with Whirlpool and match up the numbers on the mother board of the original microwave number pad, not just settling on having Whirlpool send them another key pad for that so called model. So you guessed it Im sure. Another week went by and they got another key pad, didnt match up the numbers from the original mother board key pad, BECAUSE they were just to stupid not to write down and keep the numbers from the microwave key pad in question. So without them having to check to see if they finally had the correct part, they made me wait another week for an appointment, another three hours waiting during my appointment scheduled time, only to find they and/or whirlpool cant get it right. So they tried for a 3rd time to get the right part and low and behold a week and a half LATER, they came with the right part that fit my microwave accompanied by the first technician. Again he was so polite and apologetic for the companies lack there of brains (my wording) as to why it wasnt done the exact way I wrote about in this review. He finally got the correct key pad in and started it up, only to find it still wont heat anything up. He again tried everything humanly possible to get it to work, but to no avail. I then asked him to call his supervisor and explain to him what had happened and may I please speak with him, Matt, so I can express my concerns and see if we can get to the bottom of this with Whirlpool, Ikea (seller of Micro) and of course Diamond Service. But the service supervisor or dispatcher refused to talk to me asked by the tech like 3 times before just hanging up on his tech, stating I need to call Whirlpool or Ikea, not him. What kind of customer service agent is he. Whether he is phone support, field technician, supervisor or even at top person like a CEO, if a customer requests to speak with you, you need to accommodate them. Whether it is just to offer an ear of sympathy or to reiterate exactly what someone else had already told you, its polite and professional to do so. So if you want an outfit to treat you less than important, and have a field of technicians come out numerous amounts of times to fix your appliance, well then this is the not so Service group for you. WOW, READ THE REVIEWS WE ARE NOT KIDDING BECAREFUL!!!how can a company like whirlpool contract through this company! I have done business with Diamond Factory due to our warranty on our washing machine being contracted through this company and let me give you the heads up. Your first visit for the problem you are calling about is just to get the repair guy to look at the problem. the second visit is to install the parts. So you can see the turn around on a repair is around 2 weeks to fix a problem. The repair techs do not carry the parts with them in their van. This is crazy. Ok, here we go again... so in order for your machine to be considered a lemon the exact part has to break THREE times in 1 year! CRAZY, THE EXACT SAME PART so that means your machine can break down 10 times with something different and it will not get replaced. I will not be doing business with this company and shame on Whirlpool for letting these people repair their American product. I will go buy a Samsung next time. You have been worned!

Terrible service. Had appointment scheduled for over a week for, Thursday between 8a-12noon. Took half day off work, but no show. Called and was told it was changed to 1230p-330p. When explained that I took time off work they didnt care and said take the appointment as is or reschedule. No apology.

Just a heads up. New return policy is they will not do returns, even if unopened. Shop online instead. You can get parts for 10% the cost and have the same return policy. (None)
